More of the premier skins for Injustice 2 have been spotted out there in the world and we see more Injustice 2 characters shown off Only a few more sleep cycles until we all get to dive into the console version of Injustice 2 and see what hasn't been shown off to us just yet. We've been getting a lot of promises out of NetherRealm Studios that there is still a whole lot that we have not seen yet and this includes premier skins in the mix. These are the special skins in Injustice 2 that will completely alter the look and sound of one of the core characters into something completely new. We've seen this so far with Power Girl and Reverse Flash, but there have been promises of so many more. Read More...

With The Surge just about to launch we get a new cinematic trailer for The Surge as well as a look at one of the boss fights in the game We are almost here as The Surge launches next week on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It has been a fun ride so far with a lot of questions still needing answers from Deck 13, but now that we are a few days away it seems like a moot point as we'll be able to answer them all for ourselves here. Of course that doesn't help with the whole figuring out our thoughts on The Surge before it launches, but I am sure that Focus Home Interactive would rather us just take the plunge and hope for the best instead of knowing everything and opting to possibly not picking up the game. I'm not suggesting it one way or another, so please don't think that, but it is how it is. Read More...

A new in-engine video for Ancestors has been released to show us just how the Ancestors RTS feel will go between god and unit It's going to sound odd talking about Ancestors here knowing that there are two titles coming out with that as the main title for the game. The version we are going to talk about here though is the RTS title coming from 1C and Destructive Creations for the Xbox One and PC and not the weird ancient history simulator that we've heard a little about before. This version of Ancestors will be taking us through history, but all in the vein of murdering each other in glorious battle between four different nations. All based on historically accurate battles and wars that have taken place between the Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Germans, Slavs. Read More...

Not long ago it was announced that Total War: Warhammer II was coming and now we have a look at some in-game footage for Total War: Warhammer II with a new race of lizardmen Back in March we all caught wind of Total War: Warhammer II coming to our PCs sometime in 2017 but it was all done in a cinematic trailer that didn't do much but show us that the game was coming and to expect more. No slight to Creative Assembly for what they gave us, but I know I am not a fan of just cinematic trailers and then nothing to go one from there. Sure we found out that there would be elves in Total War: Warhammer II but I prefer gameplay and something more akin to what we will be getting in a final build. Read More...

The next character to join the fight of Paragon has been shown off and looks to add a lot of flair to Paragon in the coming week There has been so much going on in gaming recently that I've almost forgot about Paragon and all of the new heroes that are coming to the game. Here we are with yet another on that is coming to the game here on May 16th and she looks to add a whole lot of flair to Epic Games' MOBA title on the PC and PS4. At least as much flair that we can expect in Paragon but it does look like a page was taken from the most recent inFAMOUS title when it comes to powers and abilities. At least if you go with the neon powers and all of that stuff that comes with it. Read More...

Two new videos for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy have popped up to give us a feel for how the original Crash Bandicoot games have been updated So far we've seen what the updates for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will look like and how some of the levels have been altered to handle better and not just look better. We are talking some very old games here that Vicarious Visions is bringing back to us and it isn't something as easy as a texture swap to get the levels and characters looking as they do on the PS4. Some gamers out there don't have a good frame of reference though for where Crash Bandicoot is coming from and what has truly gone into the update that Activision is bringing us. Read More...

A new bundle, the Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles, has been announced and aims to bring all of the Call Of Duty Zombies fun in one place It's fun to see how a little Easter Egg in an older Call Of Duty title has progressed over the many different versions and developers over the years. In this case we are talking about the Zombies mode that was slipped into World Of War by Treyarch and has now become a staple in all of the versions of the game that Activision pays to come out. Now it looks like, for the first time, we will get to see all of Treyarch's versions of the mode in one place as Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles has been announced and hitting the PS4 on May 16th. A new combat overview video for Absolver has been released to give us all a great look at Absolver's combat mechanics and how it will flow in game We've seen some of the great combat mechanics for Absolver here since it was first announced last year and now that it looks like the game will be hitting the PS4 and PC on August 29th now, Xbox One will get it at a later date, it is time to get a feel for how we will be using it all. This is the big selling point for the game from Sloclap and Devolver Digital so it needs to be just as good as it has looked so far. This is just why we have been given a new combat overview video for Absolver so we can get a solid taste for the gameplay and just how the combat will flow and be its own little art form in the game. Another Assassin’s Creed leak has just popped up and it is another off-screen shot that points the next Assassin’s Creed to an Egyptian setting Whatever leak is going on over there for the next Assassin’s Creed title looks to be having one Hells of a time getting plugged up. Here we go with yet another bit of leaked information that Ubisoft has yet to confirm or deny and this time we have another image to add into the mix. An image that popped up over on Reddit is what is making the splash here today and it supposedly shows us more of the ins and outs for the next Assassin’s Creed with a possible reveal/tease coming here just before E3. The release date for Secret World Legends has been set and now we get to dive into seeing what Secret World Legends is changing from before Not too long ago we were all hit with Secret World Legends coming and was being a re-release of the PC MMO of a similar name. Maybe not a re-release as that has different connotations in today's age, but more Funcom wanted to bring us more of the game, continue the story, and also give us a fun free to play version of it all. Hey, for some this may be the first introduction into the Secret World so I guess it is a good thing for the re-release of sorts. None the less, we can all look to see it hitting the PC on June 26th now with all of the bells and whistles it has added and changed over the time it's been released. Read More...

As Injustice 2 is just about to launch, it is time to get a full recap on all of Injustice 2's ins and outs so we are all completely ready for launch We are a week out from the launch of Injustice 2 and it feels like we've seen and heard all there is for the game already. Outside of the finer details of the story in the game and specific gear we can collect, NetherRealm Studios has given us quite a lot to go on to make up our minds on if we are going to give the game a go here on the 16th. Hells, we only have a few more DLC characters to get shown off for Injustice 2 and we would have the whole package. I'm going to guess that we won't see those until well after launch but there is still a week and a lot planned up to then, so that may be changed up. Read More...

New rumors for the next Assassin’s Creed title give it a name change, story details, and an RPG-like system for Assassin’s Creed now It is time to add even more rumors out there for the next Assassin’s Creed title that is on its way to us at some point. I am almost certain that all of the secrecy that Ubisoft has behind this title is one of the driving forces behind all of this, but that isn't why you are here right now. You want to know what could be possibly going on with the next Assassin’s Creed title. You may have noticed that I left off the Empire subtitle that was the previous rumored name from before. The third character for Street Fighter V's second season of DLC has been revealed and adds a new-ish character into Street Fighter V that has only been in lore The next fighter to join Street Fighter V has been announced and shown off. This would be the next fighter at least in the second season of DLC that will bring a full six new fighters into the mix here and now we get to meet Ed. Not the most unique of names that Capcom could have come up with, but given how he's been introduced in the past, it makes total sense on how and why he is coming to Street Fighter V here when the next DLC drops. Whenever that may be though, but it is coming to the PS4 and PC versions of the game so there is at least that. Read More...

A new trailer for Agents Of Mayhem has been released to introduce us further to the Agents Of Mayhem characters that we've already met once Here we go with some more for Agents Of Mayhem and this time for those who have not been able to get all the ins and outs since E3 last year, we get a solid look at three of the characters in the game that we've seen before. Don't think these are the only characters coming to the game as I know that Volition has many others in the works and already there for us, but these seem to be the big ones and the first three recruited into the organization in the game's lore. We still have plenty of time to get to know the rest of the characters for Agents Of Mayhem as we wait for August 15th to roll around and the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but here we go with what Deep Silver wants us to see for now. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was one of the more exciting weeks for video games that we've had in quite some time now wasn't it? I know it was for me as we had a whole lot get shown off this week and we also had Darksiders III get an official announcement out there. We also had a lot more hype for Friday The 13th: The Game and a look at the full roster for Injustice 2 and some of the new DLC that will be coming for it. All of that and a few reviews for a few video games that have made a whole lot of page space on the site here over the last few months and years. Read More...
