A new patch for The Last Of Us Part II is out there to bring 60 FPS to The Last Of Us Part II among a few other updates as well It should come as no surprise that Naughty Dog has been working on a way to bring The Last Of Us Part II over to the PS5 in an official way here. Just as the first title did, it released right around the time of a console jump and they would want to make sure that gamers out there get the best experience on the latest version. Not to mention that they most likely already knew that the system was dropping around then, given that relationship with Sony. That all said, unlike The Last Of Us from before, we are not getting a remaster to make sure that it can hop console generations easily but instead getting a full upgrade and patch. Read More...

A new teaser for The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes is out to give us a bit of a feel for House Of Ashes before a gameplay reveal Here we go with a little more of a tease for The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes as we wait to get any real gameplay for the game. Sure, some of this could potentially be from some of the gameplay as Supermassive Games does like to use the engine and gameplay to make their videos but this is still a tease. A tease that shows off a bit of the horrors and tunnels we will be exploring in House Of Ashes as we further fill out the larger story of the anthology series here. This one still has us all focus on a team of soldiers in the Middle East instead of a bunch of random tweens doing the typical horror movie tropes. Read More...

We sit down and review Layers Of Fear VR. The creepy walking-sim is back in the virtual space again. Here is our review of Layers Of Fear VR It seems like so long ago that we had the original Layers Of Fear made a splash and offer us all a new way to go about some of the horrors out there. It was not the bigger title that did all of this, but it was a smash hit and delight to see what Bloober Team was trying to do with the genre and ways to offer up horror to the gaming fans. Then we cut forward a few years and after the big VR crazy hit, and now we have Layers Of Fear VR. Read More...

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will offer up a few new weapons and more ways for Ratchet & Clank to traverse the new dimensions they have All the weapons are finally on display for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart as June 11th seems to keep crawling closer and closer to us all. Not only the weapons but a little more on how the characters in the game will be moving around and, thankfully, keeping the same movement schemes in the game. Insomniac Games had me a little worried there with it looking like Ratchet and Rivet could have different things to try to nail down. Now that confusion is lifted just a bit more with the explanation of how we will traverse this Ratchet & Clank and use all of those sweet, sweet weapons along the way. Read More...

New details for Biomutant are here to further explain some of the story and gameplay for Biomutant a bit before launch There just seems like there is a never-ending flow of information for Biomutant flowing out there now and it is all filling in so many of the little gaps that always stays out there. We have seen a lot on how the game is going to look and move out there, and now it is time to get a bit more of the context behind it all. Experiment 101 is bringing us an action-RPG here on May 25th, so there needs to be something that helps dictate it all besides "video games. Read More...

One more trailer for Of Bird And Cage offers up a final look at how Of Bird And Cage will look and the horror it could have One more trailer is here for Of Bird And Cage to tease us all into the launch of the game this week. It has mainly been all teasers out there for the game so far but that does help keep up some of the mystery behind what Capricia Productions is working on here. It is either a solid way to go about presenting Of Bird And Cage to us all or a way to make sure fewer PC gamers out there are aware of it all. There have been many things out there to show off the basics for the game up to now while keeping the story beats hidden from us until May 20th. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with a wrapping of another slow week in the realm of video games here. Slow in the way of not the biggest of news flowing out there but there was still something to highlight and talk about. Even if it was about the new DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or the new platforms for Layers Of Fear 2. We did get to end it all with some new gameplay for Biomutant and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart among some various other updates for some smaller video games as well. Read More...

New gameplay for Biomutant is here to show off how Biomutant will handle on the various platforms it launches on The release of Biomutant is right around the corner for many of us out there and I know I am eager to get my hands on it. It is still dropping on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 25th, but it is obvious that it will run and handle a bit differently between all of them when it does. Different hardware will be able to handle the game differently no matter how Experiment 101 crafts this title. That is why we are here to look at how Biomutant will be able to run on the various platforms it is launching on. Read More...

New previews for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is here to show off a bit more gameplay for Ratchet & Clank and how it will be different We have a month to wait for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart to hit the PS5 and that means that some of those early preview builds are flowing out there for us to take a look at. Some of us have a chance to actually play a bit of the game before June 11th and some of us have to sit back and take a look at the bits of gameplay others are able to put out there instead. We are in the latter group, but that does not mean we are not excited to dive in on the up-and-coming Ratchet & Clank title from Insomniac Games here. Read More...

Those looking for new color options for the PlayStation 5 will be glad to see that PlayStation 5’s DualSense Controller has two more coming While the hunt for a PlayStation 5 has been a bit of a rough go since launch due to all kinds of reasons, the DualSense controller has been a bit easier to come by. Sure, there might not be much of a use to having the controller without the new console but we can always plan ahead for when those lucky enough to land one can do so. Now is the time to start planning a little bit ahead, as there looks to be some new colors for the PlayStation 5’s DualSense Controller added into the mix and ready for pre-order right now. Get ready to take Layers Of Fear on the move again with Layers Of Fear 2 hitting the Switch in just about a week from now It may have taken a little bit of time, but it does look like the Switch will soon be able to hop in on the horrors of Layers Of Fear 2 here. Not the biggest of issues as it did hit fairly hard when Bloober Team dropped it out there before and on May 20th you will be able to add it to the growing list of titles on the new platform to enjoy. Hopefully, this will help them to bring us all another entry into the Layers Of Fear line or maybe for the game to hit us in other ways as we have seen the original do over the years. That is always the hope when it comes to titles that do feel like they add into the industry and do not go with the normal flow of it all and just one more title to play and toss aside. Read More...
