The list of free video games hitting the PlayStation and Xbox systems in April has been released and there are some great video games included in the mix A new month is almost on us here with April and that means new video games that we are going to get for free. Well, video games that you will get for free if you are part of the PlayStation Plus or Xbox Gold services. If you are then you may be in for a treat as the list of titles going live starting next month is here and we have it for you. Again, we get to expand our titles on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5 without needing to make any extra spends at our local stores. Read More...

Playable Music Album, Of Bird And Cage, has a release date and we will be able to play this downward spiral of story in Of Bird And Cage this coming May We may have let Of Bird And Cage slide under the radar too long over here, as here we are first talking about it and now we have a release date for the title. A title that is slated as a playable album that is loosely based on Beauty & The Beast, all coming from Capricia Productions. Of Bird And Cage looks to be more of the basic affair when it comes to some of the video game stories and visuals we have, but it sounds (pun intended) as if we will be able to see how this story ends by "playing the songs" that go along with the choices. Those looking to give Second Extinction a chance on Game Pass will be able to in April with the announcement of Second Extinction’s release date A little over a month ago we had word that those Xbox Game Pass holders were going to have a chance to get in on Second Extinction before the full release as the PC gamers have been in on the Early Access already. There just was never a final date for everyone to look forward to and Systemic Reaction kind of went silent after that. Well, in terms of all of this and until now with the announcement that Second Extinction will be out there on April 28th for those looking to have the fun there. Read More...

The AI for Hello Neighbor 2 is going to be vastly more intelligent than we saw in the last Hello Neighbor In games like Hello Neighbor 2, we should be expecting a solid AI and pathfinding set up to give us all some kind of challenge to the game. It was in there fairly well in the last game but as we move forward we need things to get a little more accurate and challenging. You know where this is all going here, as we have a new update for the AI in Hello Neighbor 2 and it looks like it is going a bit more off the rails than we could have expected. In this new game, it looks like it is going to not only be strong from the start. Read More...

The console version for Green Hell is slated to release this June to allow a new batch of gamers to enter into this Green Hell It was not a huge secret that Green Hell was going to head over to the PS4 and Xbox One sooner or later, and now we have a bit more of a timeline to look forward to. No longer is it a nebulous "when" will Creepy Jar give more gamers a go at this survival title. We now know that the console version of Green Hell will be hitting the platforms in June. Read More...

New footage for Kena: Bridge Of Spirits is here from the Future Games Show and it gives us more of what we can expect in Kena this August Every time I see more for Kena: Bridge Of Spirits I get more and more excited for this game. Even if it does not look like any of the grimmer and darker action games we have had over the years, it looks like Ember Lab is putting together some just as special to keep us engaged and entertained. Who knows, maybe there will even be some of that darker stuff mixed in given what we have to compare the title to with all the other forms of media out there. Kena might be more than just a third-person action game with much more going on underneath it all. Read More...

A new trailer for Martha Is Dead is out there and it offers up more of the thrills Martha Is Dead could offer us If you had no clue up to now, photography will play a large role in Martha Is Dead and it seems like it will be a large way we uncover some of the darkness in the game's narrative. I am sure there is going to be a whole lot of that mixed into the game here and now we have one more tease of it all from LKA as to how that will look. Not too surprisingly, just as grim as the rest of the visuals we have seen for Martha Is Dead in the past as we wait for the game to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over and it is time to kick back and digest all of those video games we saw, had teased, released, and sadly were delayed. This was one that was all over the place but it kept us all going as we wait for titles like Evil Genius 2 and Biomutant to launch out there. That or give us better looks at the coming things for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Atomic Heart. All with one of the many video games we have for review to finally get their highlight this week. Gameplay for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum is out there now with a little more showing off just how Gollum will play out Just as the character that the game will be revolving around, a little more is sneaking out there for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum. This time in the way of a little bit of extra gameplay for it all and not the cinematics we have seen from Daedalic Entertainment up to now. This time we have a whole whopping 40-seconds of gameplay to look at. It, thankfully, does offer up quite a bit on how Gollum could be playing and handling. Read More...

New gameplay for Oddworld: Soulstorm is here with the announcement that physical editions for Oddworld: Soulstorm will be coming this Summer The gameplay keeps flowing with the latest for Oddworld: Soulstorm hitting us from the big Future Games Showcase that has gone down. With April 6th not too far off for us to see the game hit the PS4, PS5, and PC, we will certainly need all we can get to see how Oddworld Inhabitants have mixed things up in this new installment to the IP. There have been many changes over the years for Oddworld and it does feel like this one will expand upon it all. More so when you have a solid look at the latest gameplay we have that helps to show how some of the story will be told in the background actions and other elements besides just exposition. A new developer update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is here to show us a few of the basic updates coming to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel Here we go with a new update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to see just how far the developers out there have brought the game so far. It has been a slow roll to get it out there but GSC Game World but we will take everything we can get to look at and enjoy. Even if it is a very basic and generic update we have here without much in the way of gameplay for S.T. Read More...

A delay has hit Back 4 Blood shortly after the alpha test and now we will see Back 4 Blood launching in October of this year Here we go with another delay, but this one I am not too shocked by with the way that the team has been working with Back 4 Blood. Yes, this is the title that is now delayed a bit more and instead of hitting us in June, it looks like Turtle Rock is aiming for a new October release date for it all. With a nice little beta test to go down during this Summer before Back 4 Blood hits all the platforms out there. All so we can get one of the best games out there for us to experience and enjoy when it does finally come. Read More...

The pre-orders for Biomutant are now open and to go with that we have some new combat gameplay for Biomutant with a DLC tease Many of us have been waiting patiently for more for Biomutant after the release announcement not too long ago, and now we are back with some actual gameplay. Some solid combat gameplay for the game that shows off how pretty it will all look and flow. It might be a little hard to figure out exactly how Experiment 101 will have it set via the controls and motions, but it is just as pretty as we should have assumed for Biomutant thus far. Given that it is a new IP coming out there, there is a lot riding on it not just looking good but something we will want to pick up many times over. Read More...

The fourth character for Hood: Outlaws & Legends is out there with the Mystic bringing some of the religion into Hood in general Things are getting a little more magical in Hood: Outlaws & Legends with the showing of the final character class we will have to play in the game. Well, magical is a bit of a misnomer as it does look like Sumo Newcastle is still trying to keep things a bit more grounded and the Mystic is using more of the natural things to explain some of the magic out there. All of which by inhaling incense or tossing out an inhaled poison to mess with all of the minds out there in the matches. Not exactly what I was expecting in Hood but it is a great twist to have here and see play out with this version of Tooke in the universe. Read More...

The next expansion for Hitman 3 is bringing us all the deadly sins as if we needed more to worry about when it comes to Hitman’s soul If you did not think that Hitman 3 was already filled with enough of the deadly sins from Christian Mythology, here we go with a whole new way to experience them all. This would all be part of the next big paid-expansion that IO Interactive has been cooking up for us and will all kick off on March 30th. Each sin will be its own little expansion for Hitman 3 and have us revisit some of the past locations with new escalations and gear for Agent 47 to use and survive. Read More...
