Learn The Basics On How To Play Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of January 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Gwent Since Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has undergone a few changes recently in the beta it may be time to relearn Gwent in preparation for its upcoming release Since the beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game kicked off last year we've seen a few things get changed up and reworked to make sure the game is at its best that it can be. It really is what CD Projekt RED is going for here instead of the usual demo hidden as a beta thing that most other companies go for when they really just want to hype a game or test their servers before launch. That all said, we've seen changes that some love and other disagree with but for those who are still not in or playing the beta currently, you may need a breakdown for how Gwent is played here as it is a bit different than its original inception back in The Witcher 3. Even More Rumors About Beyond Good & Evil 2 Now & Claim It's A Switch Timed Exclusive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Beyond Good & Evil More rumors for Beyond Good & Evil 2 have appeared and they claim that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will be a timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch This does seem like the year of the rumor as new rumors have cropped up around Beyond Good & Evil 2 and these ones point that the game will be a timed exclusive for the Nintendo Switch right from the game's launch. Don't get your nickers in a bunch just yet as this is all still rumor and nothing official from Ubisoft. It does come from someone who has had a solid track record with leaking Switch info in the past but the latest for Beyond Good & Evil 2 could seem like a little much here. Read More...

New Rumors Claim That The Next Assassin's Creed Will Be Heading To The Switch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Assassin's Creed Another rumor for the next Assassin's Creed title is out there floating around & claiming this Assassin's Creed will be on the Nintendo Switch It looks like the rumor mill is flowing again as we get further speculation on the next Assassin’s Creed title and this time it is about the platforms it could be coming to. Of course none of this has been confirmed or commented on by Ubisoft as of yet but that doesn't mean that it couldn't be a possibility and this one seems to have some merit in general as well as others "in the know" agreeing with it. Pretty much this all boils down to the next Assassin's Creed coming to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and… the Nintendo Switch when it finally comes out. Read More...

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Is Shaking Up Player Progression A Bit Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Gwent A new player progression system is coming to Gwent: The Witcher Card Game with the next patch update and it aims to mix up the Gwent leveling system in a good way If you are already playing in the Gwent: The Witcher Card Game beta then get ready to see things get changed up a bit yet again. Of course this is something we should always be ready for when in a beta and especially here as CD Projekt RED is looking to give us the best version of this little game that they can and are not married to many of the gameplay designs yet. This is a good thing before you get on a high horse about your Gwent never staying the same. Read More...

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's Player Progression Has Been Explained A Bit More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of November 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Gwent New details on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's player progression system have been revealed and it looks like players who can't play Gwent non-stop won't be penalized too much The closed beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is fully underway and has been for some time. Maybe you made it in or maybe you didn't. Either way that doesn't mean that there aren't some sweet card battles going on and that CD Projekt RED isn't taking all of the feedback given to help make this title the best version it can be. I personally thought that what we had in the original mini-game of Gwent was amazing but this full version is adding on a lot of extras to make it more than just a card game and something we all want to keep progressing through at the end of the day. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Nintendo The Nintendo NX has been officially shown off and its new name is the Nintendo Switch and it looks to bring all of us back to play This announcement seemed to come out of nowhere but as it turns out we now have the Nintendo Switch to look forward to next March. That's right. The Nintendo Switch. That is the new name of the NX that we've been seeing and hearing so many teases about up to now and in the mix of all of the other things going on in gaming now it looks like it was time to give us the new console that they have been working. Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's Closed Beta Has Been Delayed But Dated
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Gwent The closed beta date for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has been pushed off from the original timeline but now we have a solid date for Gwent's closed beta now I hope you weren't sitting around waiting to find out the specific date in September you might be able to give Gwent: The Witcher Card Game a play. If you were then you are going to be let down or left wanting as CD Projekt RED has just stated that they are going to have to delay the closed beta of the game and, most likely, the final release as well. At least it is safe to assume that the full release of Gwent will also be hit with the same delay as I am sure they are going to want to make sure they can get as much testing in before it goes to market; especially based on their reasons for the delay. E3 Hands On — Gwent: The Witcher Card Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of June 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Gwent While at E3 I was able to see Gwent: The Witcher Card Game in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. We all demanded it and not we are getting Gwent: The Witcher Card Game as a standalone title to play and experience outside of the core game that spawned it. Of course CD Projekt RED could have taken the easy way out and just ported the basic game over to appease the fans but instead they went all out and brought a fully redesigned version of the game for us. The core mechanics are still there but this version of Gwent has a lot more to offer than just fun times and collecting cards. Read More...

We've been given a plethora of free DLC for the game from Warner Bros. so it is high time that we get a bigger, better, and purchasable bit of DLC for The Witcher 3 out of CD Projekt RED.
