Maid Of Sker
The final release date for Maid Of Sker is set and with it comes some solid gameplay for Maid Of Sker to take in
We all knew that Maid Of Sker was going to be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC here in July. That was all we were given from Wales Interactive before now and with only a little bit of gameplay to enjoy. As I figured it would be, it looks like we now have a final date for Maid Of Sker to hit us for July 28th. Yes, it will now be out there at the end of the month to give them all the time to make sure the game is looking the best. Something that we can now see a bit more of just a bit lower with some new gameplay to get us all freaked out.
Before now, we have not had a whole lot of gameplay for Maid Of Sker to give us a better idea of how the game will play. It will all be a survival horror game where we will have minimal ways to fight back. Given that the enemies will be using sound in the game to find us, it looks like we will need something special to handle that. Something that looks like a sonic grenade to stun them so we can run and hide yet again. I do hope that is not the only loop in Maid Of Sker, but if it dives into some solid folklore here it could be a good time. Have a look and see just what we will be getting.
Maid Of Sker — Gameplay
Wales Interactive, macabre makers of Don’t Knock Twice, The Bunker, and The Complex, are proud to announce that Maid Of Sker will be launching on July 28 2020. The survival-horror title will be launching digitally for Steam, and will have both physical and digital editions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with physical editions published by Perp Games.
Inspired by the haunting Welsh folklore tale of Elisabeth Williams, Maid Of Sker draws players back to 1898 to venture through the shadowy halls of Sker Hotel. Armed only with a defensive sound-device, players will have to keep eyes open and stay alert through the waking nightmare in order to solve the supernatural mystery that hangs over the Sker Hotel.
Is this the gameplay you were expecting for Maid Of Sker or is it all a bit shocking for it all? Do you like the use of sonic weapons here to help mitigate some of the horrors out there? Will we be able to hold our breath for a long time or will there only be a short time as other video games have offered up? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for Maid Of Sker, we will let you know. Just be sure to keep checking back in here for all of this and much more.
