The Action Is High In These New Screenshots For World War Z
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
World War Z More screenshots for World War Z are out there and we get to see just a bit more action for World War Z before its upcoming launch The headline says it all as we have more screenshots for World War Z to take in today. All of which look to show off more of the action that will be going down in the game when Saber Interactive brings it to us. That date is still up in the air, but at least we have more to look at for World War Z. It is still slated for 2019 as of last I heard, but who knows if Focus Home Interactive will shift that based on all of the other games that are coming out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat The cover art for Mortal Kombat 11 is revealed and it brings us just about what would expect from a new Mortal Kombat game We are under a week out from the bigger Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event but we still have something small to keep us going until then. Not that the surprise trailer NetherRealm Studios gave us back at the Game Awards was not enough, we did need something to hold us until now. Then again until April 23rd when Mortal Kombat 11 hits the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. I am sure that is what the reveal event will do but for now we will look at the latest bit to keep us going. Intercept The Storm With The Javelins Of Anthem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Anthem Two new videos for Anthem are out there detailing two of the main javelins in Anthem with some different loadouts Earlier in the week we saw how good Anthem could potentially look if you are willing to buy all the latest and greatest hardware out there. It is what they seem to be pushing out at CES this year more than anything. That does not always sell games though so we are back with more from BioWare for the game so we can at least see how it could play in our hands. February 22nd is getting ever closer and I know I want to see how each of the javelins in Anthem will handle or differ. Read More...

New Gameplay Shows Off How Amazing Anthem Could Look
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Anthem During the NVIDIA CES 2019 keynote, new Anthem gameplay was revealed that shows just how good Anthem could look if you are willing to go PC CES 2019 has kicked off and that means we will start seeing all kinds of videos and trailers showing off the new tech coming just as we have here for Anthem. We have a new bit of gameplay to look at here but the bigger news here is that DLSS is coming to the PC version of the game for those who use an NVIDIA card to drive their games. I am sure that EA would like you to remember that Anthem is coming and that you should pre-order it now, but that would outshine the news that you can get it bundled in with your new GeForce RTX graphics card, laptops, or PCs. Not only getting it, but it will be bringing two more titles from IO Interactive into the HD arena on January 11th. That is one hells of a turnaround there, especially given that Warner Bros. just brought us the release of Hitman 2 not too long ago. Read More...

The Obligatory 2018 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2018 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here’s a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year, there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had more indie-based video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It, of course, is not a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
The Sinking City A new informative video around The Sinking City is here to let us know why Lovecraft is important and need for titles like The Sinking City There has been a who lot of Cthulhu and Lovecraft talk recently and we are nowhere near being done with it as we still have The Sinking City to look forward to on March 21st of next year. I am also certain that this will not be the last we hear or see of the mythologies here as we push even further on. That also begs the question for some, why is Lovecraft so important? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 11/19/18 — 11/23/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 24th of November 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Such a great week for video games here, yet again, even with one of the bigger North American holidays going on. Further proof that we should be looking at the industry as a global thing and not a local one. Kind of like how Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus all played out here. Just to name a few of the video games we had a chance to review this week. Read More...

Review — Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus
by Chris Avila [ Thursday, 22nd of November 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Mechanicus We sit down and review Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus. A new 40K RTS game with some weird choices. Here is our review of Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus Launching onto Steam like the ever-increasing swarm that is the Warhammer franchise, Mechanicus tries to head in a different direction than previous titles. Focusing on the often background relegated computer nerds and mechanics of the Imperium, the Adeptus Mechanicum seems like a strange move. They do not really fight, they are the ones that build the spaceships and design weapons for the Imperium at large but never as frontline fighters. Read More...

Hitman 2’s First Elusive Target Is Wandering The Ever-Growing World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of November 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Hitman The mission briefing for Hitman 2’s First Elusive Target is here, as well as an update on how the future of Hitman may be unfolding Well, Hitman 2 has been out for a week now and it has been another solid entry into the franchise. We took our time playing through it and have placed our thoughts up on the site, but that does not mean the IO Interactive is done with the game. It would be insane to think that after Warner Bros. took the time to pick up the Hitman IP and then funded this latest project. Read More...
