Cuphead Is Getting Its Own Animated Netflix Show
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Cuphead A new Cuphead animated show is on its way to Netflix in the way of The Cuphead Show! using everything we loved about the game It feels like we are going back in time to a point where every video game needed a TV show tie-in as it looks like Cuphead will be getting the treatment now. Not exactly the title I am sure many of you were expecting to hear about, but it would seem that Studio MDHR selling over four million copies of the game would grab the eye of Netflix to try to set something up. On top of the classic animation style Cuphead already holds, I can see why they would want to snatch this one up and ride the success. Even as we all wait for that sweet DLC to still come out after the game being out for years already. Read More...

The Delicious Last Course Will Be A Bit Later For Cuphead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Cuphead The Delicious Last Course DLC has been delayed for Cuphead but we have a tease for what it will bring to Cuphead in 2020 The wait is going to continue for those looking for more of Cuphead to play as the announced DLC has been pushed to 2020 now. That goes for the Xbox One, PC, and Switch versions of it all as StudioMDHR is making sure to take their time to make sure it is up to what all of you gamers are demanding. They have been doing a great job keeping Cuphead updated and flowing well while adding in a few things here and there, so it is worth giving them the time to make sure there is no dip in quality for this amazing little game. Just be ready to wait as there is nothing more than the year to go on for this expansion to the game. Read More...

Paranoid Has A Bit More Of The Gameplay To Drive You Mad
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Paranoid Another video for Paranoid is here for us to get a feel for the room that will be our prison when we play Paranoid It is time for us to get to know the room we will be in when we spin up Paranoid after it launches. There is still no word on when that is going to be on the PC, but Madmind Studios is working hard on a few things so we will just need to wait for when that happens. Again, not the reason we are here for Paranoid as we have a new trailer to take in and get a look at what is going on in the game. All we have had in the past has been a few of the teases and a word that the game is coming. Read More...

Night Call The release date of Night Call on the PC and Xbox Game Pass is set down with Night Call hitting both of those in mid-July You may have seen it at E3 in 2018 or during the Xbox Briefing at E3 2019, but now it looks like we have a release date for Night Call to look at in the mix. Take Some Selfies In Hell With The Latest For Succubus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Succubus A new trailer for Succubus has been placed out there and kicks off the Succubus’ new selfie-driven show of force It has been just about a half of a year since we saw anything come out of the Succubus house and now we have the latest trailer to do something with. I am not too sure what as it seems to be more of a cinematic trailer for the game, but Madmind Studio has placed it out there and we should all take a look at it. Even if it is unclear just what it is aiming for in terms of the game. At the very least, it does let us all know that the titular Succubus character now has a selfie feed on Twitter so we can see something as we wait for the game to come to the PC at some point. E3 2019 Impressions — Psychonauts 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Psychonauts While at E3, I was able to see Psychonauts 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Psychonauts 2. Another game out at E3 that has had an interesting journey has to have been Psychonauts 2. Originally going for crowdfunding, then funded by another source, and now Double Fine has been brought into the Microsoft Studios family. None of which is all that important as there was little worry this game was going to be made after the initial funding goal was reached. Why we are here, though, is that the hard marketing push is out there and Psychonauts 2 was out at E3 this year to give us all a better look at just what we can expect and how the game may have changed from what we knew before. Shang Tsung & Others Are Coming Very Soon As DLC For Mortal Kombat 11
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat The first few fighters of Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack have been announced with more classic Mortal Kombat fighters showing back up Before Mortal Kombat 11 launched we knew we were going to be seeing Shang Tsung back in action and using the likeness and voice of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa from the film. It was a nice treat to have back then when NetherRealm Studios was getting us all hyped up for the game and now we know when we will be able to add that character to our rosters. That would be June 18th for those that shelled out for the ability to have Early Access to the Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat 11. Read More...

Lovecraft Meets Cyberpunk With The Tease Of Transient
by Julia Schoebel [ Friday, 31st of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Transient A new thriller title, Transient, is teased out there where Transient will mix together themes from the Cyberpunk and Lovecraft genres Add one more tease for us all as Transient is the latest game to do just that with very little to work with. Given that Iceberg Interactive has placed it out there and will be launching in 2020 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, I guess it makes some kind of sense to just tease us. Although, when you drop things like Transient will be a mixture of the Cyberpunk and Lovecraft genres from Stormling Studios, it feels like we deserve more for it all. That could just be me and wanting more than the short little video we have announcing all of this. Read More...

Demonic Forces Are Going To Start Terrorizing Just Cause 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Just Cause The next DLC for Just Cause 4 is coming this July and will have a whole swarm of enemies for the Just Cause crew to take on It looks like things are getting even stranger in the world of Just Cause 4 as we have a new look at the next upcoming DLC for the game and it looks like the world is truly going to Hell. That is, in the story, the Black Hand have released ancient demonic forces into the world and it will be up to Rico and crew to fix it all. Even if it seems like it will be all located on the island in the game, not something that will truly destroy the world. Read More...

Review — A Plague Tale: Innocence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale We sit down and review A Plague Tale: Innocence. A stealth game with a tale of innocence lost and millions of plague rats. Here is our review of A Plague Tale: Innocence The swarm is here as A Plague Tale: Innocence is out there now for the masses to enjoy and see just what 5000 rats on screen can look like when they are tormenting an innocent brother and sister team. That may sound a bit grim, but that is the very basic description of this game from Asobo Studio here even though there is so much more going on with it all. I had a chance to actually sit down and play A Plague Tale to see what other interesting things were in the game along with its stealth gameplay and sling-fling mechanics. Read More...

Find Out How We Made It To The Point Of RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
RAGE The launch trailer for RAGE 2 is here and with it comes some time-bending fun and a deeper look at what will be going on in RAGE 2 We are now mere days away from the launch of RAGE 2 with May 14th literally around a weekend corner. Some of us, myself included, have been looking forward to this day for a while now even if many others have been shocked to hear that Bethesda went ahead with the title given the previous one's sales. It looks like that will not hold anything back when you have a team like Avalanche Studios and ID Software excited and working. Good thing too, as we have seen a whole lot and now we are back with the launch trailer for RAGE 2 to give us all a bit more before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next week. Read More...

Survive A Harsh World With Interesting Puzzles In Claire de Lune
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Claire An announcement for Claire de Lune is here and it will be a new puzzle game that will take us on the hunt for the titular Claire on weird planet In the seemingly endless run of all the dark and grim first-person games coming out, it is nice to see another puzzle and platforming game get the announcement as Claire de Lune just did. That should be given from the little bit above this line, but that is what we have here from Tactic Studios for their latest title. As I mentioned, it will have a nice first-person look to it all, but only as far as perspective and use of mechanics as it will be a puzzle game much like was have seen in the past. Read More...
