A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This week in video game news can totally be summed up with delays and Mortal Kombat X. Hells, even Mortal Kombat X had a delay announcement for the last gen systems. Nothing like what happened to Uncharted 4 and Homefront being delayed until 2016 but at least nothing was cancelled. This of course is all to go along with the showing off of two titles coming out here soon; Battlefield Hardline and Bloodborne. PlayStation and From Software have announced that Bloodborne has gone gold and also have given us a new trailer to go along with that If you were worried for some reason that Bloodborne was going to be delayed then you can worry no longer. Bloodborne has gone gold and disks are being printed as you read this. To go along with this, From Software has also put together a nice little trailer to show off Bloodborne for all and what we can look to expect that we haven't seen already. During the Blizzard PAX East Panel it was revealed that there are two new characters for their upcoming shooter Overwatch In case you were not able to catch what Blizzard had to show for Overwatch at PAX East, then you should know that there have been two new characters announced for the game. Not too surprising given the past of Overwatch and the fact that we all want to have as many options when it comes to our shooters online. Especially when it is all team based and set in a pretty fantastical world. This now brings us up to 14 "heroes" total to choose from in Overwatch. Read More...

Bethesda has announced that they are releasing a new prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order titled Wolfenstein: The Old Blood There is no doubt that Wolfenstein: The New Order was an amazing addition and revitalization to the franchise. In fact it was so good I wanted to play through twice not for the deviating story lines but to enjoy it all again. Well it looks like we are getting even more from Bethesda and MachineGames as they have just announced a prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order titled Wolfenstein: The Old Blood due out on May 5th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A new trailer for Bloodborne is out and it shows off some of the monsters and mini-bosses that will hopefully be plaguing our nightmares soon We've heard more of the story for Bloodborne and that there is some craziness going on in the city the game takes place in. The official story trailer for Bloodborne is out for all to watch and try to figure out what is going on in the world that Bloodborne is set in The first 18 minutes have already been spoiled for Bloodborne so we all may think we know a bit of the story and how the game will play out. A new behind the scenes look at Powers has been released to show us just why we need to be excited for the first PlayStation original show We only have a few more weeks now until Powers debuts on the PSN. All of you PS+ members around the world with your PS4s, PS3s, or access to the PlayStation website will be able to watch the first season starting on March 10th. Well at least the first three episodes and then a new one each Tuesday from then on. A new look at Bloodborne's environments has been showcased and it really highlights the creepy, gothic setting Bloodborne will have If there has been one thing that has impressed me for Bloodborne it has to be the setting and environment for the game. I am a sucker for creepy, Gothic settings and there is no doubt that From Software is bringing the 'A' game for Bloodborne in that aspect. Even when I have had shoddy hands-on experiences with the game this has been one thing that has kept me wandering around and searching every nook and cranny of the levels so I can get the full appreciation for Bloodborne. Bethesda announced today that they will be holding their own press conference at E3 2015 but with no details about what will be shown It looks like Bethesda wants in on all of the E3 fun of hosting their own press conference as the publisher just announced on their blog that they would be doing just that. No longer will they be held to just a booth and a kick-ass off site party/get-together at E3. They will be taking a stage and showing off what they have in the works for the coming years and most likely announcing a few things we all may have been wanting for a while. Read More...

We have a new look at all of the options we are going to have when it comes to our characters in Bloodborne…and a bunch of new gameplay If you are looking to have your own special snowflake when it comes to Bloodborne it looks like you are going to be in luck. From Software has added in a whole mess of options into the game to customize your character however you want and they were so nice to give an exclusive look of all of that. At least an exclusive look for all of that to IGN so they could take us all through a quick minute version of all of the option Bloodborne will have to make you all nice and special. Hatred is now available for pre-order as well as has some new gameplay for you all to hate on again Hate it or not, Hatred is getting released as an AO title for PC and there seems to be no stopping it. I see this as a good thing but the whole "Hatred debate" bullshit has been done to death and I wish the main character could show up and perform a finishing move on it.
