So correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Sony already had a title that was pretty much LittleBigPlanet Karting. Or at least what one can assume that LBPK will be all about. You know a little game called ModNation Racers. A racing game that also focuses on the ability to Play, Create and Share. So what is up with this new announcement? If you are like me you might be curious on the motivations of antagonists in films and games. I mean not ever villain is like the Joker who just does messed up stuff for the sake of doing it. There is usually a motivation behind their actions. Well it looks like next month we all will get the chance to see what Ryder White had planned besides just trying to save his wife and self. According to the announcement the DLC, aptly titled Ryder White, will add several hours of game play where you will actually play as White. With the beginning of the end of the world behind us a bit, we at Aggrogamer would like to share with you guys what we are most looking forward to in the next year. So without further adieu here are the games we're most excited about in 2012. Darksiders II Developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ, Darksiders II takes place during the same time period as the original Darksiders; players will be taking control of Death who is War's fellow horseman and brother. Featuring a new location that is said to be twice as big as the original game, a single quest hub will be connecting to a numerous amount of dungeons, one certain city area will feature more dungeons than the original Darksiders. So I'd feel like I was not doing things right here if I didn't tell you that this is more of a hands on with Alan Wake: American Nightmare's new game mode, Fight 'til Dawn. There wasn't much to look at or play around with in the single player mode at CES outside of the few tidbits below. So there is that out there. Now let me get into what I did get to play around with. As if we all didn't expect this, Ubisoft is doing yet another Tom Clancy title. This one has the moniker Rainbow 6 Patriots. From the bit that has been gleaned from the announcement and game's site it looks like a well trained and organized revolutionary group has come to the conclusion that (*Gasp*) the American government is corrupt. Now that Id Software's new IP is out, what do you guys think about it?I was thoroughly impressed with the demo Id showed off earlier this year at PAX East and eagerly waited for its release in August, but sadly it was pushed back to October. I was perfectly ok with that since I knew the finished product was going to blow my mind into oblivion, but I guess it is safe to say that I'm slightly disappointed. The upcoming new FPS from Id Software Rage has another new trailer out. This time showcasing the Water Service mission with some great Co-Op. The trailer shows off the usual with Co-operative game play; Work together to win. It seems Id has implemented a bit of competition as well with a combo and point system and a sense of urgency with the whole mission being timed. Complete a step of the objective and you will be rewarded for more time. At the end of the trailer they show off a little bit of the Teammate reviving mechanic, which is always a nice addition to a co-op game. Read More...

So I was surfing around YouTube and came across this amazing fourteen minute long sneak peak of Borderlands 2. Just watching the first five minutes I was blown away by the unprecedented amount of changes to the game; Completely revamped menu system that is all in-world and amazing improvements of enemy AI, they actually climb walls and jump over gaps to get to you. Living in Vegas it is rare that we get to see snow. I'm talking real heavy snow. I personally hate the stuff but I do love the temperature that comes along side with snow. When choosing one's zombie team, you generally want to have a good group whom you know will watch your back and not hesitate to kill a zombie. There is no room for cry baby whiners who will end up killing you and the group down the line. It is just good tactics for survival. It would seem very amateurish if you didn't know that rule when it comes to surviving the zombie plague be it urban or not. Let's start with "What is QuakeCon?", or as it has been known since 1996, the Woodstock of PC/LAN gaming. Hands down, one of the largest LAN parties of our generation. A celebration of all things Quake-oriented and bringing LAN gamers together onto one giant network. A gaming marathon that one will never forget from August 4th to 7th.
