Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has totally been a week of video games to lead up to this year's E3. It could have been something that could have been extremely slow, but it looks like everyone out there was down to give us all a whole lot before the show. Days Gone The release date for Days Gone is now set and we get to see when the world of Days Gone will be coming for us all Keeping up with all of the big reveals before their big showcase, it looks like we now have the release date set again for Days Gone. If you remember, it was delayed by Bend Studio earlier this year and now it looks like it is still on track to release on the PS4 in 2019 as promised. In all actuality, Days Gone is aiming to launch on the PS4 early in 2019. To go one set further, it is now set with a February 22nd release date for 2019. Read More...

Assassin’s Creed The next title in the Assassin’s Creed line has been officially announced after many “Leaks” for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey popped up online Mark another “leaked” title for this year’s E3 on the list as we now have Assassin’s Creed Odyssey officially announced just over a week out from the main event. Detroit The launch trailer for Detroit: Become Human is here to give us one last look at this version of Detroit and get us further pumped up for the game With Detroit: Become Human launching on May 25th it seems high time for that launch trailer to hit us all. That just happens to be what we have here to enjoy today to give us all a little more of the story we are going to get here as well as a nice little look at what else Quantic Dream has crafted. Just like every other launch trailer out there though, it is more sizzle for Detroit: Become Human and less substance. This is a good thing though as I know I would not want to have much of the game's story spoiled only a few days out from launch. Read More...

Dreams New footage for Dreams has been uploaded to show off were the game has evolved to just before E3 so we can get fully prepared for our Dreams there You can tell we are getting closer to E3 as we start to see more gameplay and B-Roll popping up online just as we have here for Dreams today. Although this all seems to come hot on the heels of Media Molecule showing the game off to multiple different outlets out there but also in preparation for E3. Nonetheless, we have more to look at for Dreams here and it truly shows off how pretty much anyone out there will be able to make their own levels and "games" once it all comes to the PS4. Days Gone More gameplay for Days Gone is here and it gives us a nice look at some end game content for Days Gone as well as some outpost style play We still may need to wait until 2019 to finally get Days Gone on the PS4, but that does not mean we do not have some new gameplay to look at and get excited over. Even if it is all alpha footage for the game, it gives us a nice look and feel for what Bend Studio is working toward and also some of the end game content, or close to the end of game content, we have to look forward too. Days Gone New developer interviews for Days Gone have been posted and it gives us a little more insight into Days Gone as well as how they are fighting genre fatigue Given that Days Gone is the next big cover story for Game Informer it is no surprise that we have new information flowing out there for the game. Sadly nothing in terms of solid gameplay to look at as of yet, but we have a lot of fun updates from Bend Studios in terms of interviews that they have put together and thus placed online for all. None of which can confirm when we will see Days Gone grace the PS4, but they do cover some more of the basics for the game as well as why we should not be burnt out on open-world titles and the whole zombie fad that has been dominating all forms of media for some time now. God Of War We sit down and review God Of War. Kratos is back and looking a bit older & maybe a bit wiser. Here is our review of God Of War The time is now and Kratos is back for another installment to the God Of War franchise. It has been a hard road for the Spartan turned God and Santa Monica Studio is here to give us another installment to the franchise. This time with some new twists and turns as well as a new location. Detroit A new behind-the-scenes video for Detroit: Become Human has been released and it goes into all of the ways the team had to come up with the design for the futuristic Detroit If you are into the art of games, and I mean that literally, then you will be glad to see the latest for Detroit: Become Human. In another behind-the-scenes video for the game that we have here, we get to see all of the designs and looks that Quantic Dream came up with to craft this not-too-distant version of a real-world location. Nothing that has never been done before, even with the specific city, but it is nice to see how the team progressed from where they started four years ago to what we will be seeing n Detroit: Become Human on May 25th when it hits the PS4. Detroit A new bit of gameplay for Detroit: Become Human is here and this one shows us a darker side of Detroit: Become Human as well as some new elements By now I hope you are getting everything that you can out of the Detroit: Become Human demo that is out there. It may be a section that Quantic Dream has shown us time and time again, but it does offer up a great look at what the game has for us on the PS4. If for some reason you have made it through the demo multiple times and are looking for something new that you have yet to experience for Detroit: Become Human, then you came to the right place as we have a bit more gameplay for the game here and it takes us down a dark path for Markus. Spider-Man The second Spider-Man suit we can pick up has been shown off and now Spider-Man is further connected to Infinity War with the Iron Spider We now know the second of the three pre-order suits coming to Spider-Man and it should come as no surprise that it will be the Iron Spider suit. Given that Avengers: Infinity War is just about to release and going to be part of the huge hype train for a bit well after, it would make perfect sense that Insomniac Games would go down this path. While the Iron Spider suit is not something new just for the film, this version of the suit will be based on the version Spider-Man will wear in the film. Again, not the biggest of shocks there as it was pretty much assumed back when the pre-order details were first let loose and then the timing of all of the other announcement that were to come. Detroit It is official that Detroit: Become Human has gone gold and gamers will have a chance to demo Detroit: Become Human well before its launch The headline says most of it, but Detroit: Become Human has officially gone gold and is definitely set to release on May 25th for the PS4. Not that many had any worry that Quantic Dream would not be hitting the mark on this one, but now it is completely secured and all on the manufacturing side of things. They all have a month to "print" all of those physical versions of Detroit: Become Human and for those waiting to actually pick up the digital version of the game that can be pre-ordered right now. God Of War Photo mode for God Of War was just shown off and it adds in a bit more fun into God Of War than we have seen with other modes like it It was no big secret that God Of War was going to be getting a Photo Mode and that it will be coming at us some time after launch. It is all the rage as of late for PS4 games and Santa Monica Studios knew this was going to need to be something from the start. In a game as epic as God Of War, you know there are going to be a whole lot of shots that we will want to capture and share out there.
