The Alan Wake 2 Game That May Never Be…Sadly
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay demo for Alan Wake 2 has made its way online to show us the Alan Wake 2 game we may never get It always sucks when a game like Alan Wake 2 will never see the light of day. Pun intended. What sucks more is when you get to see what the game could have been via gameplay demo and proof of concept work. That is what we have here to spread the hurt from Remedy moving on to do Quantum Break over Alan Wake 2 for their next huge title. The prior looks amazing and don't get me wrong, I still want it, but after seeing what the team was doing for Alan Wake 2 it is quite upsetting that we may have to be left waiting for a long time to see anything you are about to see hit our Xbox One or Xbox 360. Another Of The Many Quests From The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt To See
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released to show off another quest title Precious Cargo We are just under a month out from the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and most of us out there couldn't be more excited. I know I am in that boat as this game looks to be just as epic as the development time it has undergone from CD Projekt RED. The world map is huge and there looks to be all kinds of missions, quests, side quests, and all that jazz to experience in the game. That is partially why I don't feel too bad bringing you another question to look at from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt running on the Xbox One. Read More...

Detective Kidman Has To Deal With The Consequence Of The Evil Within
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The second batch of story DLC for The Evil Within has been released and it continues the perils of Detective Kidman of the game It's been building up until today as The Evil Within finally gets its second bit of DLC: The Consequence. This would be the continuation of the story DLC for the game that Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have been bringing it to our systems at home. You know, part of that Season Pass we all paid for last year when The Evil Within first launched and we've been slowly getting more and more as we reach the anniversary of the original launch. If I had to place money on it I'd say we get the third part of the Story DLC for The Evil Within just before October this year. Read More...

Have Some More Mad Max Images To Punch You In The Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A few new screenshots for Mad Max have made their way online for us all to look at in awe as 'Mad Max' beats down his enemies September 1st just doesn't seem like it is going to get here fast enough so I can play Mad Max. It just won't and I don't think any level of complaining is going to rush Avalanche Studios to try and push the release date any closer. They already bypassed the need to have Mad Max out around the same time the film is hitting so at least we know that they are trying to take the time to make the game amazing and its own thing. As Mad Max should be. Read More...

All of this when Star Wars Battlefront launches on November 17th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All of the information we should have known if we watched everything that DICE and EA gave to us last week of course. Read More...

Want More Info On Guitar Hero Live? Of Course You Do
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of April 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
Activision and FreeStyleGames have released the entire Guitar Hero Live press announcement for all of our viewing pleasure Did you feel like there should have been more to the Guitar Hero Live announcement earlier this week? I know I should felt like there should have been a bit more. Especially since some of the other "buy-able" outlets were already talking about their impressions on having played with the new guitar controller for the game. Well as many of these big publishers do, Activision held a rather sizable event to show off Guitar Hero Live to the press before the official announcement to get them all prepped. Now, that presentation is out and available for us all to view and pretend to be a member of the press pretending to be rock stars with Guitar Hero Live. Read More...

The Beautiful Chaos Of Blood Bowl 2 In Action
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We have a new gameplay trailer for Blood Bowl 2 and it shows how the Chaos All-Stars could play a game of football… Until now I have not been completely sold on Blood Bowl 2. It just looked like one of those games that were really targeted toward a very small subgroup of gamers. Most likely not the truth but that is how it has come across to me since the game was first announced by Focus Home. Now we have a new trailer out for Blood Bowl 2 and either they broadened the subgroup a bit or there is just something now that has caught my attention. Now I am ready to see what Cyanide is bringing with Blood Bowl 2. Read More...

Everyone Will Now Achieve Ascendance In Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The second DLC pack for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be hitting PS3, PS4, and PC at the end of April If all of you non-Xbox Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare players out there were feeling a little left out with the second DLC pack that is part of your Season Pass, now is the time to know you won't have to wait much longer for the pack to hit the PS3, PS4, and PC versions of the game. You will know now but still will have to wait until April 30th as that is when the pack will be available for you to download and enjoy in all of the new features, maps, and Exo Zombie fun that the Xbox 360 and Xbox One players have had for a month already. I guess it is nice that the multiplayer servers don't go cross platform as that would be one hell of an advantage that they would have from day one. Read More...

A Few More Reasons To Look Forward To Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of April 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Over on their blog, Bethesda has given us all a few more reasons to look forward to Machine Games' Wolfenstein: The Old Blood prequel DLC If Wolfenstein: The New Order wasn't enough to get you excited for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood then it looks like Bethesda and Machine Games have a bit more to make that May 5th release date seem so very far away now. Yes it is a bit of the usual screenshot fare but also, as they mentioned on their blog, there are even more things outside of that. Now the launch for it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC seem even further away than before with just that one sentence. Read More...

You Can Now Create Your Own Missions For Dying Light On PC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The developer tools for Dying Light have been released on Steam for all to make their own creations in the game's engine A short while ago it was mentioned that Techland was going to be giving PC gamers access to the Dying Light developer tools. Originally there wasn't much listed as to what would be coming when these tools came to the public. It was mostly thought to be nothing too extensive by some but it looks like those people would be wrong as the Dying Light developer tools are going to allow for complete game altering events. Not only that but it looks like we will also be able to create our own mini-games in the world of Dying Light. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Following yesterday's tease, Activision and FreeStyleGames have announced Guitar Hero Live to be the next reboot to the popular franchise Hot off the tease from yesterday we now officially have Guitar Hero Live and it is looking to reboot the franchise with some new features and a new peripheral for the game. We'll dig into all of that in a moment but here we have it; Guitar Hero Live is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Android, and iOS platforms sometime later this year. My money would be on late October or early November to compete with Rock Band 4 as well as get all of those holiday sales a little bit early. Read More...
