Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Minecraft We Sit Down And Review Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required. This Is The Second Episode Of Telltale's Take On Mojang's Famed Franchise. Here's Our Review On How They Did That was a crazy turnaround time for this episode of Minecraft: Story Mode to be released. Usually it takes at least a month or two before Telltale Games is giving us another episode to whet our whistles and this time we all had a nice two week or so turn around. Kudos to them and I hope they keep pushing the Mojang inspired story out to us in the same manner. Until then though we get a nice look at Minecraft: Story Mode — Assembly Required as we dig into our continued review of this episodic franchise. Read More...

Dark Souls 3 Has Two New Editions Coming & A Possible Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of November 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Dark Souls 3 Two new collector's editions for Dark Souls 3 have shown up online today and some of the ads point to a solid date that Dark Souls 3 could release You have to love the internet sometimes as it does its damnedest to uncover things like we have here for Dark Souls 3 today. I am sure that FromSoftware and/or Namco are not too happy about it but it looks like someone has spotted two of the special editions of Dark Souls 3 out there in cyberspace and spilled the beans for you all. Granted as the retailer showing off both of these Dark Souls 3 bundles has still yet to take them down I have a feeling that what you are about to see will be a region specific thing unless enough of you make noise to get these absurdly expensive bundles brought anywhere else. To clear things up a bit here, a NeoGAF User spotted and brought to light two bundles for Dark Souls 3 being listed by United Arab Emirates retailer Geekay Games. Read More...

There Is A Nightmares Campaign In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Black Ops 3 The heavily-rumored Nightmares mode for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been confirmed giving us another way to experience Black Ops 3 Looks like all of the rumors were true for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 as it looks like Nightmares mode is confirmed and in the build of the game; at least for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. How Treyarch and Activision were able to keep this secret so well until today, it is launch day for Black Ops 3, is still baffling but it leads to another great surprise as not only do we have a press release for it but a nice little trailer to show off on how this mode will play in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's main campaign. Now you can see why it is not on the PS3 or Xbox 360 version right? Read More...

Review — Guitar Hero Live
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Guitar Hero Live We Sit Down And Review Guitar Hero Live. Things Have Been Changed Up Quite A Bit This Time Around To Make The Franchise Feel New; But Does It Pay Off? Here's Our Review Of Guitar Hero Live Looks like the rhythm game is trying to make a comeback and now we have the other main competitor in the way of Guitar Hero Live. This franchise is one of the ones that made the whole genre as popular as it has become over the years, even with its short hiatus, and FreeStyleGames is bringing it back to try and bring new life into the franchise. Not only is it a new game with, technically, new songs but Guitar Hero Live adds in a few new features and mechanics to said genre but do they help or hinder in the long run? Read More...

New Fallout 4 Gameplay Asks If You'll Risk Your Life For Others
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of November 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Fallout 4 The Fallout 4 launch trailer has been released and it is full of little story bits as well as a plethora of new gameplay for Fallout 4 Only a few more days until the big day that Fallout 4 lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We've all waited patiently, or not-so-patiently, for November 10th to roll around and had to deal with the limited information that Bethesda wanted to hand out to us all. That includes gameplay for Fallout 4 that has been a bit on the sparse side of things. It doesn't matter now though as the release date is almost here and we also have a nice gameplay trailer for Fallout 4 to dig though and see even more before the game lands in our hands. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game Shows Off More Of The Killing Fields
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th A new video for Friday The 13th: The Game has been let loose with the intent of showing off the environments of Friday The 13th's Camp Crystal Lake We are heading into the final stretch of Friday The 13th: The Game getting its funding via the Kickstarter campaign it has. Just under $100K to go still and then Gun Media will be bringing us the basic version of Friday The 13th presumably without the bells and whistles in the stretch goals. All of this you should know and most likely expect to see Friday The 13th: The Game coming to a PS4, Xbox One, and PC near you sometime next year. Again I predict sometime around Halloween although May does have a Friday The 13th in the month and who could pass up that date to get the game out on? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of November 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Two more Woman Vs Wild videos for Rise Of The Tomb Raider have been released so we can see all the ways we'll be the Tomb Raider in the game Looks like in all of the hullabaloo of last week we missed out on a new Rise Of The Tomb Raider Woman Vs. Wild video. That's okay though as it looks like as a reminder we have another new one here from Crystal Dynamics to help round out everything we need to know before we dive into Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 10th here. Well, not really everything as that would spoil quite a bit of the reason to actually play the game but we do get a nice over view of all of the Guerrilla Combat and tombs that Rise Of The Tomb Raider will have to offer us. The first video up here covers the three different ways to go into Rise Of The Tomb Raider's combat. Read More...

More Creatures For Final Fantasy XV Have Been Revealed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of November 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV New Final Fantasy XV screenshots have made their way online so we can see some of the creatures we will be hunting down in Final Fantasy XV Slowly but surely we will have enough new information for Final Fantasy XV to fill in an official update. All we have been getting lately have been a few new screenshots or bits of concept art out of Square Enix but I guess that is something to keep us all held over for Final Fantasy XV as we move into its launch year. 2016 is still the year that we can expect to see Final Fantasy XV on the PS4 and Xbox One for now. Hopefully that won't change and we'll here that it will be early 2016 and not a late 2016. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of November 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
Evolve Another new monster for Evolve has been shown off and now we have a spider-like creature to add to the roster for Evolve We've seen a few of the new hunters coming to Evolve with the Hunting Season 2 DLC sometime before the end of March of 2016. Now is the time to see one of the new monsters and it looks like Turtle Rock Studios is bringing the Gorgon out to play and stalk the wilderness. This isn't your traditional version of the Gorgon of mythology though and this one will be quite different in Evolve. In fact this isn't the snake-like turn you to stone monster but a spider-like creature? Read More...
