If you were paying attention over the weekend you may have seen a new trailer for Gears Of War 4. If you were not paying attention then you missed out on The Coalition's most recent showing of the game. All in a nice CG style look to it and with a slow version of a slow song to try and give us a feel for the tone Gears Of War 4 will be taking on when it comes to the single player campaign. This could have worked better had it come along with the release announcement we had last week but I'm sure that Microsoft planned on things to be this way for some reason.
Here we get to see what looks to be the family life of Marcus Fenix just before all the hell breaks loose. I'm not sure if this is an indicator that Gears Of War 4 will be touching more on this side of the story than the running and gunning but this trailer certainly points in that direction. That and the all of these space marines are super heroes in the strength department by lifting a tree as he does. I always thought it was part armor but I guess not any more. It still wraps up to be a very touching video and outside of the music choice still a fun watch.
Gears Of War 4 — Tomorrow
Currently Gears Of War 4 is slated to release on October 11th this year for the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. There is also a beta planned for the multiplayer on April 25th for those who partook in the Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition on the same platforms. Most likely a whole lot more as we get closer to the big conventions of the Summer but that is still all up in the air. Until then we get fun trailers like these to tide us over.
