Mafia 3
A new trailer for Mafia 3 has finally dropped and not only shows some great story but also tells us when Mafia 3 will be releasing this year
The teasing and the waiting are now over as we have a nice, new, shiny, Mafia 3 trailer to gaze upon in all of its glory. Hangar 13 has kept a pretty tight lid on anything for the game up until now, even though there have been some minor leaks, and now we get to see just how much further they have progressed in the game. Also, wouldn't you know that 2K Games also took the time to let us all know when Mafia 3 will be releasing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That date being October 7th just a few days before the other huge launch in October this year…
Now that we have a date it is time to have a look at the other half of all the news here. What we have here for Mafia 3 isn't just a small piece of fluff but a solid look at the game's story that we are going to experience. In true manner for the franchise it is just as explosive as the wrath of Lincoln Clay. That would be the lead character of the story that is hell-bent on bringing down the Italian Mob after their power-play wiped out all of his family and the Black Mob in New Bordeaux. If the whole family was in on it is a bit up to speculation based on the song and visuals here but it doesn't deter away from the intensity of things.
With no more gilding the lily here, have a look at the latest trailer for the game. I also recommend playing it a second time with only the audio playing. If you want a true feel for how crazy things will be in Mafia 3 that manner of enjoying the new trailer will give you a sense that this is a big budget mob film instead of just a video game. A true testament to how well Hangar 13 has done in bringing all of this to life for us. We gamers just get the added experience of joining in the fun and not just being along for the ride.
Mafia 3 — One Way Road
The city of New Bordeaux had survived the War of 1812, the Civil War and god knows how many hurricanes. But when Lincoln Clay went after the Italian Mafia in 1968, he inflicted more damage than all those wars and hurricanes combined.
What are your thoughts on the latest Mafia 3 trailer here? Does it look like it is going to blow all of the past titles in the franchise out of the water or not? Did you give the trailer a viewing with only the audio turned on and had the same feelings that I did? Let us know and discuss away in the comments below. As we get more on Mafia 3 we will have it all here. Expect more after 2K Games has their big showing of the game during PAX East here in a few day's time.
