by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear More visuals for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance have been released as we delve deeper into Layers Of Fear's protagonist’s daughter Only a few weeks ago did we catch wind that Layers Of Fear: Inheritance was coming as a nice little DLC for the original horror title from Bloober Team. It is slated for an August 2nd release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC still but it looks like Aspyr Media has some new screen shots for us to look at and see how we are going to dig into the Artist's daughter's psyche in the game. That is what this little bit of Layers Of Fear DLC is going to be all about and it looks like another fun and creepy addition into the realm. Read More...

Hold The Door We Have Some New For Honor Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
For Honor New highlights of the For Honor gameplay seen out at E3 have popped up online and we get to see how For Honor's combat system works As always happens at events like E3 it looks like some extra gameplay for For Honor fell through the cracks and was missed out on. I know I was too busy looking at all of the other titles Ubisoft had on hand and missed out myself. Which is sad because it looks like some of For Honor's combat was shown off in quite a bit of detail and I missed out on all of it. Of course this might have meant I had to wait until February 14th to see it in action on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but thankfully I don't and neither do you. Read More...

Ana Joins The Good Fight In Overwatch Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Overwatch Another new character has been announced for Overwatch and this one comes in the way of a 'dead' member of Overwatch coming back to fight the good fight As if the roster of Overwatch wasn't large enough already it looks like we are getting yet another character added into the mix. I guess it is a good sign that Blizzard is bringing another new character as it definitely shows that they are fully backing the title and not just releasing and forgetting. Not that I thought they would do that to Overwatch in the first place but it is always a good sign to see them continuing the work. Now we have Ana to join into mix and it looks like she has a hard story to bring into the game when the update hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

It's Time To Answer The Call With The New Ghostbusters Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Ghostbusters A new trailer for the new Ghostbusters video games has been released and we get to see just how the Ghostbusters will answer the call The new Ghostbusters comes out this week and looks like it is doing well in the reviews so far but just in case you want a bit to tide you over until Friday the new game based around the new story's event is here. That's right, Activision and Sony have brought their latest addition into the video game portion of the franchise to us and it is linked a bit and out now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully this version of Ghostbusters isn't just a cheap tie-in for the film even though that has always been the concern since it was first announced. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Brawlout The reveal for Brawlout has been made public and we get a quick look at Brawlout's gameplay as it brings the platform brawling genre to us again If you felt like you needed a new platforming brawler title, then let me show you Brawlout here. This is just what I was talking about coming out of the minds at Angry Mob Games and set to hit early 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Finally, we get a brawling game that isn't a console exclusive or something and I'm glad to see Brawlout giving the genre another try. Of course I'll be even more glad once the full reveal and gameplay comes out of the first major showing of the game during EVO this weekend. Read More...

Batman: Return To Arkham May Be Launching In November
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Return To Arkham It looks like the delay of Batman: Return To Arkham may not be as long as most of us feared as sources claim Return To Arkham will be launching in November While this is still in the realm of speculation it looks like sources close to Batman: Return To Arkham state that we should be seeing the bundle released sometime in November of this year. At least that is what is being reported out there on Rocksteady Games' new collection after it was delayed instead of being released tomorrow. That was the original date that we were supposed to see Return To Arkham out there but things didn't look perfect according to Warner Bros. Read More...

A New Live Action Horror Title, The Bunker, Coming This September
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Bunker A new horror game, The Bunker, is coming out this September and The Bunker features Live Action play instead of traditional character models It has been very far between when a video game uses live actors instead of polygons for gameplay but here we go with The Bunker. This is a new horror title coming out of Splendy Games for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices. It had a very small announcement back in April of this year but it looks like Wales Interactive wants to bring The Bunker to us all this September. No specific date has been announced as of yet but this is a step up from there being nothing when wind first started to pick up for it. Read More...

Let's All Get Immersed In The Gameplay Of Battlefield 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 New Battlefield 1 gameplay has been shared out of the closed alpha and it shows just how immersive Battlefield 1 will be Last week we had a nice long look at Battlefield 1's domination mode in action right from the closed alpha test that EA has going on right now. It looked a bit on the lower end of the scale that we all know that DICE can produce for us. At least it did to me and it made me think what we would see on the PS4 and Xbox One for Battlefield 1 was going to be even worse. All of this being based on the PC footage here and October 21st truly isn't that far off when you get into the nitty gritty here. Read More...

Resident Evil 4 The release date for Resident Evil 4 on the current gen systems has been announced and we'll see Resident Evil 4 this August again While it isn't new news that Resident Evil 4 is heading the PS4 and Xbox One directly, that was announced a while back, but now we have a solid release date for when we will get to play the game on the systems. It looks like Capcom has set the date and we will be reliving one of the best additions into the franchise on August 30th now. Hopefully you've been able to play catch up in reverse with all of the other titles announced with Resident Evil 4 and Umbrella Corps or most likely waiting until August now to play it all in order. That's right, you can now play Turtle Rock Studios' passion projected, Evolve for free right now on the PC and then later on the PS4 and Xbox One. Of course some players out at E3 had the chance to play the game and DICE have given us all a closed beta. Review — Deadlight: Director's Cut
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Deadlight We sit down and review Deadlight: Director's Cut. It's another remaster for a game that didn't get much love before. Here's our review of Deadlight: Director's Cut It's only been a short four years and now we have Deadlight: Director's Cut landing on the PS4 and Xbox One after a nice stint on the 360 and PC. This would be Tequila Works' side-scrolling zombie adventure that aims to focus on story more than just exploding brains. It was decently received the first time around but now we have a more definitive edition of the game here now with all of the extra mixed in that the original Deadlight just didn't have. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Is Having Its Narrative Detailed At SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty It looks like Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is making the rounds at SDCC and we'll get a look at the new Call Of Duty narrative coming for the game We've had a bit of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare news and footage come out of E3 but it looks like that was only another small section as the game is making a showing at San Diego Comic Con in two weeks. While Infinity Ward may have focused more on the action and combat before it looks like this time it is a focus on the narrative that we are going to get here. Yes, Call Of Duty games have a story for those who are not all about the multiplayer only. Read More...

Fallout 4 Final DLC Looks To Be The Upcoming Nuka-World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Fallout 4 At E3 the Fallout 4 Nuka-World DLC was teased and shown off to the world but now it seems it will be the final Fallout 4 DLC too Hopefully you weren't banking on the Fallout 4 DLC to keep rolling out after the most recently teased one. As it seems the upcoming Nuka-World DLC teased at E3 is going to be the last bit of planned DLC that Bethesda has for the game. So get ready for the Fallout 4 content to stop flowing out after that hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime next month. By all of that I am only talking about the core game as I'm guessing focus is going toward the VR version of the game which is why this will be the last. Read More...
