Pathfinder A new developer diary for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous offers a look at how Drezen is built and preps us for this Pathfinder to hit the consoles It looks as if our assumptions were correct and we will be seeing Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X at some point after it launches on the PC. It is still poised for its initial release date for September 2nd of this year, so expect Owlcat Games to have it ready to hit the consoles sometime after that. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Chernobylite The release date for Chernobylite is set for PC and we have various other Chernobylite updates mixed in too The Early Access run for Chernobylite is about to end out there with the game releasing on PC fully on July 28th. Not much longer now for some of us out there to see how The Farm 51 has shaped and changed the title since it was first announced and then the few extras we have seen mixed in too. It has been one ride for Chernobylite and it is almost over, unless you are looking for it on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Those are still slated to release at later dates with the older consoles seeing the game first and then the update for the others coming after that. Read More...

Well, telling the story of sorts that is. Blood Bowl 3 Puts All Of The Elves Out On The Field Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Blood Bowl The next Blood Bowl team spotlight is here with the Elven Union taking the stage for Blood Bowl 3 now Another team is getting tossed out there for Blood Bowl 3 here and now we have the Elven Union taking the field to show off more of what they can do. Just as the name of the team implies, this is the one that is filled with all of those pesky elves with Cyanide giving them a little more grace instead of brutality in the mix. Not that they will not have any of that, this is a Blood Bowl game, but it definitely looks like they will be able to out-maneuver most out there that they come across. That will, obviously, come with its own drawbacks but depending on the style of player you are it can be mitigated. Read More...

ELEX II Is Now Officially Coming To Us Out Of E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
ELEX The sequel to ELEX is now officially a thing with the announcement of ELEX II fresh out of this year’s E3 One more new title and sequel was dropped on us during E3 with the announcement of ELEX II bringing the IP back to us and on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. You may or may not remember the original title that came out before from Piranha Bytes and THQ Nordic that we saw years ago, but no matter the case, we are getting another one. All to carry along the fun of ELEX just a bit more and in a bit more of a metal way. That is if this trailer has anything to say about it all with the fast-paced and hardcore action that is being used to show things off. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Night Book A new FMV game, Night Book, was teased during this year's E3 with Night Book showing off what remote work can accomplish Here we go with another one of the great FMV style video games getting teased and poised to hit us with Night Book. This would be one of the next titles that Wales Interactive and Good Gate Media will be bringing to us on all of the platforms out there when it does hit. It also happened to be a small thing to slip out there during E3 this year that might have gone unnoticed for a bit. We spotted it, and given how the same style of games we have seen from them before Night Book have been our jam, it is time to take a look at this one. Read More...

New footage for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is out there out of E3 to show off more of the horrors this S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel will bring us It came and went, but we managed to snag a look at the latest for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 fresh out of this year's E3 and it shows us quite a bit more than some might have been expecting for the game. Even if it is all presented in a way that feels like it is not part of the game at times. That could be what GSC Game World is aiming for here and, I kind of dig it. Read More...

More Of The Story & Gameplay Are Here For Psychonauts 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Psychonauts A deeper dive into Psychonauts 2 is here to give us a bit more on the story and gameplay we will experience in Psychonauts 2 Last week's update and trailer for Psychonauts 2 seems to not be the only big bits we had out of E3 there, as it looks like there was more hidden in some after shows. I am not sure why you would not come out with all of this information and detail during the main events of it all, but it does lead to us having more from Double Fine to talk about here and from the main developer at that. Tim Schafer is back here to tell us more of the gameplay and story for Psychonauts 2 that we might have missed before and also elaborate on a few other bits we only had hinted at all the way back in 2019. Hello Neighbor A new video for Hello Neighbor 2 gives us a little bit of a deeper look on how Hello Neighbor will be evolving Here we go with a little more of the mystery to see here for Hello Neighbor 2 out of this year's E3. It is not all too much, but it is something given that it was snuck into the PC Gaming Show by tinyBuild and felt like it was there to let us know it was still coming to the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. We still have no clue on when Hello Neighbor 2 will be out, but it is still slated for a 2021 release. Now we can just dive in and try to pick apart what we can from the latest showing of it all. The Saga Is Still In The Works For Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Hellblade A new update for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is here out of E3 to let us know how the next Hellblade is shaping up Another title that felt like it was missing in all of the big to do around this year's digital E3 was Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. Given all of the Xbox Series X titles that were getting pumped out there, it felt a little off that Ninja Theory did not have much to offer up. That was until a bit after the fact where we were able to get a small update on how Hellblade 2 is shaping up. Even if it is still in an insanely early form of it all, we are going to be getting updates as we saw with the last title to let us know just how things are going. Read More...

Life Is Strange A new breakdown of Life Is Strange: True Colors is here to give us a better understanding of the new powers coming to this Life Is Strange story One of the other titles out there that felt like it was getting some solid presence during the digital E3 this year had to be Life Is Strange: True Colors. It had its own little highlight during the Square Enix event and then Deck Nine Games had the announcement that it was going to be hitting the Switch when it launches out there on September 10th for all of the other platforms too. All alongside the announcement that the Life Is Strange remaster would be doing the same too. Read More...

The Medium Is Finally Opening Up To The PS5 Realm
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Medium The Medium has been announced for the PS5 now and we will be able to head into the dual-worlds of The Medium again As if we could not see it coming beforehand, it looks like The Medium is finally making the leap from the Xbox Series X and PC to head over to the PS5. This was one of the smaller announcements that slipped out during E3 this year from Bloober Team and it should be something to excite us all just a bit more. It was another great entry from the developer before when it hit us and now on September 3rd, we will get to experience the dual-world mechanics and maybe with a few new features along the way. They are looking to use the features of the DualSense controller for The Medium to mix in a few things we did not get before; they just are not fully listed as of yet. Read More...
