A new announcement for Achilles: Legends Untold will have the famed Achilles bringing the action to the other major platforms out there
We have not heard much out of the Achilles: Legends Untold camp once the game hit Early Access last year. It was still early on in the development cycle and we are sure Dark Point Games was hard at work making it one of the best PC titles they can out there. That is now a full-on given that is what has been going on, since we have seen a few new updates for the game and how it has been evolving. Evolving so much that it looks as if Achilles will be leaping into action on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S once it is fully ready to come to market. A massive win for the studio and all of the gamers out there that thought they were going to miss out on this action RPG.
There is still some work that has to go into Achilles: Legends Untold, as you will be able to see if you opt into the Early Access or look at the following update video. That is to be expected with a title in this kind of cycle. It will be interesting to see how they are able to make the isometric title feel like it runs well on the consoles since these tend to play better with a mouse and keyboard, but we have seen many other titles out there crush it when it comes to that style of play. If only we could know how long the console players would need to wait so they didn't have to wait until Q3 of this year to give it a go. And then also need to buy Achilles: Legends Untold twice while not knowing if it will be worth the money. Such a dilemma we are now in by getting more of the game out there.
Achilles: Legends Untold — Update
Dark Point Games announced their action RPG set in ancient Greece, Achilles: Legends Untold, is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Additionally, in an effort to provide players with equal access to the full version of the game and to provide a wide range of new features and content, the release of the full version of the game on PC has been postponed to the third quarter of 2023, coinciding with the release on Sony and Microsoft consoles.
Achilles: Legends Untold is an isometric action RPG set in a world inspired by ancient Greek mythology and features an innovative Group AI Action (GAIA) system. As the mighty warrior Achilles, you’ll be pitted against great warriors and giant mythological creatures in a centuries-long conflict between gods and people.
