World War Z Breaks Down More Of The Gameplay Barriers For Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
World War Z A new gameplay breakdown for World War Z is here to show off some more of World War Z and how we will survive the multiple locations we will go to In eleven days from now, we will be entering a new world of World War Z on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Some of us are extremely excited for this and others are still questioning just what Saber Interactive will be bringing with this new zombie game. Others in the same vein have failed recently so there is a lot of pressure on World War Z to do well and keep out attention for the genre and creatures. Some of us have hit a breaking point for it all while others are still embracing. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/18/19 — 3/22/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Such a huge week for all video games this was and I am not talking about just having GDC come and go. While there was a whole lot that came out of that, there was also a whole lot that came out outside of the major convention. From the multiple announcements from the various System Shock titles to the constant updates of Mortal Kombat 11 we also had. All to the biggest news, for me at least, with Bloodline 2 having the announcement and more coming to Mutant Year Zero. Read More...

Glimpse Some New Cinematics For Oddworld: Soulstorm
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Oddworld A new cinematic rendering breakdown for Oddworld: Soulstorm is here to show off how things will be made in this Oddworld title Here we go with another title getting shown off a bit more during GDC's Keynotes this year with Oddworld: Soulstorm getting a bit of the limelight. This time we are not seeing much in the way of gameplay for the game, but we are getting a good look at one of the cinematic sequences that Oddworld Inhabitants has put together. If this will show up in the final version of Soulstorm is still up in the air, but it does show off the way things will be presented when it comes to the scenes. Given how the other titles went in the past, I would not be surprised if this was all from the game and not fully pre-rendered though. Read More...

Take A Sprint Behind The Scenes Of World War Z
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
World War Z A new developer diary for World War Z is here to show us the various facets of the game and just where inspiration from the World War Z was used There is still a month from the launch of World War Z so we have a whole lot of time to see more for the game. That is not to say that we have not already as Saber Interactive has placed a whole lot of footage out there already and there does not seem to be much of a change from place to place. It is just how this game is designed as World War Z is relying on the replay factor of each randomly generated swarm AI to keep things feeling fresh. Almost like playing a PvP game of sorts. Interpoint Is Announced To Twist Us Through More Horror-Filled Worlds
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of March 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
A new psychological horror, Interpoint, is announced with mechanics and designs that make Interpoint look to pay homage to some of gaming’s greats There is another newcomer to the FPS psychological horror genre of video games, as we now have Interpoint to add into the mix. This new title comes from Three Dots and looks to give us some old sci-fi horror with a bit of the gameplay we have seen in some other great titles in the past. I am not talking about FPS titles in general but in the form of a special gun that can do quite a few different things and will be needed to complete the game. Interpoint will call it a Photon Gun while others can see how it links to, say, a portal gun. Read More...

World War Z Is Getting Its Own Multiplayer Mixed In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of February 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
World War Z New modes for World War Z are here to mix in some extra multiplayer to World War Z and make it almost a true free-for-all with zombies There has never been any doubt that World War Z was not going to be a single-player only style game. It can be played that way, sure, but it has always been focused on as a Co-Op experience for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC from Saber Interactive. It is always safer to go out there with a team in any form of a zombie apocalypse. More so when you dig into the lore and story of World War Z in general. Read More...

The Horde Is Out In Force For World War Z
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of February 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
World War Z A new clip for World War Z is here to give us more on the hordes of zombies we will be facing down when World War Z finally launches We have a new video for World War Z to take in from Saber Interactive and it is all about the hordes we will face in the game. It makes sense given that this is a zombie game and the story pretty much surrounds all of this in general. No matter if you look at the book or film for World War Z, hordes of infected are everywhere so it makes sense we would see more highlights for them. Even if we have no solid release date on when to expect to play this game this year. Read More...

World War Z More screenshots for World War Z are out there and we get to see just a bit more action for World War Z before its upcoming launch The headline says it all as we have more screenshots for World War Z to take in today. All of which look to show off more of the action that will be going down in the game when Saber Interactive brings it to us. That date is still up in the air, but at least we have more to look at for World War Z. It is still slated for 2019 as of last I heard, but who knows if Focus Home Interactive will shift that based on all of the other games that are coming out there. Read More...
