Monster Hunter Some new gameplay for Monster Hunter: World is here and it takes to the Coral Highlands of Monster Hunter: World with a few new creatures to look at New gameplay for Monster Hunter: World has been released and this time it looks like Capcom is taking us to new lands in this one to take on some other big monsters in the game. Here we have a look at the Coral Highlands that will give us the feeling of being in an underwater landscape while not actually being in that setting. It is a pretty location and looks to be filled with all kinds of extra monsters that we should be expecting in a title named Monster Hunter: World. Read More...

by Julia Schoebel [ Friday, 5th of January 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Monster Hunter Another beta for Monster Hunter: World is coming to the PS4 and along with that comes announcements for future updates coming to Monster Hunter: World Good news for those looking to dive into Monster Hunter: World again before it officially launches on January 26th. At least it is good news for those who are going to be playing the game on the PS4 as it looks like Capcom is going to hold another beta just before the launch. Starting on January 18th and until January 22nd, those looking to get a taste of Monster Hunter: World, and help make sure the servers are running well before launch, can dive back in and take on all of the monsters from before as well as Nergigante. It looks to be free just as the last one was, as long as you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber at least. Read More...

by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 3rd of January 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Monster Hunter It has been officially announced that Monster Hunter: World will be coming to the PC so all will be able to experience the Monster Hunter fun out there The beta for Monster Hunter: World may have come to a close and we are all now eagerly waiting for it to hit the PS4 and Xbox One on January 26th but that all would be leaving the PC gaming side of it all out there in limbo for now. Not wanting to do that, it looks like Capcom has finally made it official that the game will be heading out to PC gamers as well. They will only have to wait a bit longer as Monster Hunter: World will not be gracing that platform until sometime in Autumn of this year. Read More...

More Zombies Are Coming As World War Z Gets Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
World War Z During The Game Awards last night, World War Z, was announced so we could further diving into the world of World War Z with new stories If you were watching The Game Awards last night then you most likely saw the nice little tease for World War Z. Not the next film from Paramount, but the new video game coming to us from Saber Interactive. It is all set in the World War Z film universe, but other than that it does not seem to be linked to anything we have seen thus far. We already lived that story and do not need to go through it again in game form on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Jurassic World Evolution Has Been Announced For Summer Of 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Jurassic World If the Jurassic World films are not enough for you, then get excited as Jurassic World Evolution has just been announced to launch alongside the film We have another game that just received its announcement and that would be Jurassic World Evolution. Yes, we are getting a new game in the franchise here next year and it is coming to our PS4, Xbox One, and PC all around the same time that the next feature film drops. That makes this sound like a film tie-in to me and we all know how all of that goes. I am not saying that Jurassic World Evolution is going to fall directly into that design as many others have, but it does not sound like the best thing. Read More...

The Secret World Is Getting Optioned For Its Own TV Series
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Secret World It looks like The Secret World is finally going to be a TV series as a show based on The Secret World and its rebranding has been announced It only took about a decade but it looks like what I was hoping for with The Secret World is finally happening as it is being picked up for its very own TV series. That's right, the dark and horror filled MMO from Funcom is finally getting expanded into a series that will delve deeper into the world and secrets hidden within it. Not that the game or its rebranding of Secret World Legends doesn't do a great job of it already, but it will be fun to see a bit more of it all expanded upon and from others points of view. This Week In Video Games 6/26/17 — 6/30/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of June 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week done and one more week of video games in the bag and ready for us to move on to the next one. It is obvious that we are still all recovering from the madness that was E3 only a few weeks ago, but that didn't stop the flow of things at all. We had a lot of DLC and updates out there for Final Fantasy XV and Call Of Duty out there and the launch of a few other video games this week like Secret World Legends. That is also if we seem to have forgotten that Nintendo broke the minds of gamers out there by announcing the SNES Classic Edition to come to us all in only a few months from now. Read More...

E3 2017 Interview — Werewolf: The Apocalypse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Werewolf At E3 I was able to sit down and gather more information on Werewolf: The Apocalypse from Julien Desourteaux. Here's what I was able to get on Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Not all games that I was excited to learn more about at E3 were up and running on the show floor and Werewolf: The Apocalypse was one of them. Any gamer and fan of the franchise would have been excited to see what Cyanide Studio had for the game since it was only announced earlier this year and nothing else had been brought up about it. While Focus Home Interactive was featuring Werewolf: The Apocalypse at E3, there wasn't anything in terms of gameplay and the like out there, but that didn't mean we came up completely dry. Secret World Legends' Combat System Has Been Given A Bit Of An Overhaul
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Secret World Legends Many things are getting updated for Secret World Legends & one more mechanic for Secret World Legends that is getting the update is the combat If you were, or still are, a huge fan of The Secret World you may want to start forgetting how the combat in the game flows as when June 26th hits here and Secret World Legends launches it looks like there will be a new learning curve for you. Nothing too daunting here as I'm sure that Funcom doesn't want to upset players, but things will be changing. If the changes are for the better or the worse will have to full wait until Secret World Legends launches, but at least as of now we can have a look at just what changes will be coming down the pipeline. Secret World Legends Is Changing The Game & Coming This June
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Secret World The release date for Secret World Legends has been set and now we get to dive into seeing what Secret World Legends is changing from before Not too long ago we were all hit with Secret World Legends coming and was being a re-release of the PC MMO of a similar name. Maybe not a re-release as that has different connotations in today's age, but more Funcom wanted to bring us more of the game, continue the story, and also give us a fun free to play version of it all. Hey, for some this may be the first introduction into the Secret World so I guess it is a good thing for the re-release of sorts. None the less, we can all look to see it hitting the PC on June 26th now with all of the bells and whistles it has added and changed over the time it's been released. Read More...

Secret World Legends Is Bringing The Dark, Horror MMO Back To Us All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Secret World The Secret World MMO is coming back strong as it has been revamped as Secret World Legends and bringing all the great stories for free this Spring Talk about a blast from the past as it looks like The Secret World (Remember this title?) is coming back with a vengeance. Not that it had really been out of circulation since Funcom first brought this MMO to our PCs about five years ago, it has been moving along just nicely since, but it never had the massive traction of other MMOs out there. None the less, it looks like there will be a second huge push for the game as it has been announced that Secret World Legends is on its way and bringing a whole lot with it. A whole lot and all for the low price of FREE. Read More...

Werewolf: The Apocalypse Is Getting The Video Game Treatment Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Werewolf It has just been announced that Werewolf: The Apocalypse will be getting its own video game version for us to pretend to be a Werewolf out to save the world It seems like it wasn't that long ago that we were talking about a World Of Darkness MMO coming and then being canceled but now it looks like the universe is being brought back in video game form as we now have Werewolf: The Apocalypse getting the same treatment here. Yes, it looks like Paradox Interactive, the people who own the rights to the IPs, have given way for Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive to give bringing this part of the universe to life and hopefully success. Werewolf: The Apocalypse wouldn't be my own personal choice to come from the WoD here but at least it looks like they are still willing to give it a try and give gamers a taste of the table top games in the realm of the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. LEGO Worlds Will Be Opening Up To Consoles Early Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
LEGO Worlds It looks like LEGO Worlds is leaving the Early Access and soon LEGO Worlds will be able to be experienced by PC gamers to console gamers real soon Since last year gamers have been able to experience LEGO Worlds through Steam's Early Access of the game. They've been able to help TT Games shape the game into something that they want and will hopefully be something that the mass audience out there will also want. At least I am going to guess that is what Warner Bros. wants for the game. Read More...

Amazon Game Studio Is Bring Us A Trio With New World, Breakaway, And Crucible
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
New World Three new games have been announced, New World, Breakaway, And Crucible, from Amazon Games Studios and all three have a description and videos for New World, Breakaway, And Crucible It's not every day that we get three titles announced from one developer but TwitchCon is a fun thing and now we have New World, Breakaway, and Crucible to look at. All three of which are in the works from Amazon Game Studio and headed to the PC at some time in the near future. The most interesting part about New World, Breakaway, and Crucible is that it looks like all three will have some pretty intense Twitch add-ins but the full details are still not completely defined just yet.
