by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of September 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this happened to be one massive week for all of those video games out there. Even as we came on the tail end of gamescom wrapping up, and gearing up for the big releases on the way to us in the coming weeks. Halloween: The Game certainly went extremely hard to get ready for the launch, then we had a bunch from the Resident Evil movie, Until Dawn 2, and Warlock to keep the hype going. That is also ignoring the fact that we had the surprise of Maneater 2 getting announced, along with various other big video games getting more out there. Read More...

Resident Evil An exclusive look at the upcoming Resident Evil movie is here, just a little ahead of us all getting to see Resident Evil in theaters The dead are starting to rise up as we get closer to September 18th, when the Resident Evil movie will be hitting theaters. We have seen quite a bit of the film at all of the conventions and showcases out there, and it looks as if we have one more bit to look at for it all. A longer look at a scene that we have seen in the previous trailers, and this one shows off just how our new protagonist is going to learn some of the Resident Evil lore out there. All while giving us the feeling we once had when we were playing the game the first time. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 2nd of September 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The iconic villain of The Walking Dead is on the way to join the fun of the upcoming The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival We only have a few more weeks before All-Out-War is coming to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC with The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival. We've seen a few of the new character designs and others that we would see leap from the shows to the game that Odaclick Game Studio and Trailmark Games have been working on. One big one that seems to have been missing from the roster is the one that caused the whole event to kick off in The Walking Dead, and that's Negan. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 31st of August 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Warlock A long look at Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons is here, and we get to see some true gameplay for our Warlock character It looks as if someone out there made a great pact with a demon during gamescom this year, as we have a whole lot of new gameplay to look at for Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons. We still have to wait until 2027 to get to experience it on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC ourselves, but Invoke Studios has been compelled by that pact to give us just what all of us nerds have been longing for. So, get ready to tap into some dark and raw magic out there, with the action RPG style of gameplay that Warlock is going to unleash upon us all. Read More...

Grand Theft Auto VI Takes Us All For An Extended Ride About Town
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of August 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Grand Theft Auto The gameplay for Grand Theft Auto VI is out there, and it looks like we are getting a whole lot more Grand Theft Auto Just as we all had been promised, the massive update for Grand Theft Auto VI is out there and joins the ranks of games getting talked about for gamescom. Not that anyone thought that Rockstar Games needed the event to help spread the word of this title, but it happened nonetheless. Weirdly, it was all handled by Netflix for some reason, but we will not get into that level of weirdness to explore. Instead, we will just focus on what we had to see for Grand Theft Auto VI and why some of us are going to be insanely excited to see what will be hitting the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19th. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of August 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Wolverine One last look at the gameplay features for Marvel’s Wolverine is here, and it shows off how Wolverine will be upgraded The days are starting to get numbered until Marvel’s Wolverine launches on the PS5, and it looks as if Insomniac Games was looking to use gamescom as the perfect springboard to give us what we have all been waiting for. A solid look at the gameplay flow and extra mechanics that we can expect to employ out there in the game when September 15th gets here and we are in the savage world of Wolverine. A different one than we might have expected in the narrative, but one that will offer up some fun new things for the character. Read More...

There Are No Ghosts At The Grand Gives Us All A Bit More Of Robert C. MacBrushy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of August 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
No Ghosts At The Grand More of the cast for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand have been placed on display, but still No Ghosts At The Grand It always seems so sporadic when we get updates for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, but it does seem that gamescom was the timeline for the next bit of fun to seep out there. Even if we have seen a lot of the same gameplay for a while now from Friday Sundae for the game, this one does the same, but gives us a little more to bite onto. With the Early Access coming up for the PC version of the game this December, it does make sense for that. Read More...

New Terror Will Be Releasing Into The World Very Soon With Cosmic Fear
by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 25th of August 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Cosmic Fear A release date for Cosmic Fear is now set, and those looking for some new Lovecraftian horror will be able to play Cosmic Fear soon Things are going to be a little more frightening out there on the PC with the upcoming release date for Cosmic Fear. Well, as long as you can wait until September 9th for the game to be fully finished up by Alessandro Guzzo and ready to play out there. That little bit of a wait can be a little terrifying, but it's all to get a new cosmic horror and Lovecraftian title in our hands to explore. Even if that might be a trope that has run a bit of a course out there, that doesn't mean that Cosmic Fear shouldn't have its chance. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of August 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A new look at the upcoming Resident Evil Movie is here, and we get to see how it is going to link into the bigger Resident Evil world The release for the Resident Evil movie is getting closer by the day, with September 18th almost here for us all to enjoy the new take on the IP. A new take that looks to bring us all back into the feel of the games that Capcom gave us, and not specifically a retelling of a story. Stray Dog: Nobody Cares Places A Blade Into The Mouth Of Another Animal
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 25th of August 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Stray Dog Get medieval with a Stray Dog in the recently announced action title Stray Dog: Nobody Cares for the PC It looks as if we might be getting a whole new genre of action games out there, as we now have Stray Dog: Nobody Cares announced and giving us another in a line of animals with swords in their mouths kind of games. Not a terrible thing, but Parry Frames Studio is now entering into an area where we've had a few already. This time, though, it looks as if we are getting a dog and heading back in time to the medieval period of history. Read More...
