The Game Awards The official list of nominated games for The Game Awards 2017 has been released as well as which categories fans of The Game Awards can vote in Another year has gone by and that means it is time for The Game Awards to swing back around and celebrate all of those games that we have enjoyed since the last time we did the awards show. It is hard to believe it has been that long, but it has. Nonetheless, this also means that it is time for us to get ready to help The Game Awards by spamming in votes for our favorite video games, actors, studios, and gamers out there so they can be called to stage to collect their awards. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of November 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has been another productive week for video games and such now hasn't it? With Paris Games Week and all of the other news and updates out there, it has been tough to keep up. We have done our best as usual, but there was just so much I am sure things fell through. We did get to see more for God Of War and Detroit: Become Human here thankfully. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of October 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was sure one busy week in the world of video games and it still is not fully over yet. There were so many new updates and announcements out there that it was almost too easy to forget that Assassin’s Creed Origins and Wolfenstein II just launched with many more titles on the way. Of course, this week was also filled with all of those video games out there getting the Halloween updates and news like Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite and Dead By Daylight, but that is to be expected given all of the madness that usually comes along with this holiday. Now we just need to keep prepared for all of those releases that are also about to hit us here in the next month. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week And thus concludes another week in the world of video games. Another fun one out there and one filled with so many new releases and updates that it was hard to make sure we go to everything. Not only that but games like For Honor and Resident Evil 7 kept up the Halloween fix for the horror video games out there. That and that we had new reminders for Wolfenstein II and Assassin’s Creed Origins that will both be dropping next week. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/9/17 — 10/13/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of October 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with one more week of video games in the bag with so much going on this week alone. Some of it in the news and update arena, but also some of it in the major game releases for this week and the next few that will be coming up quickly. Only a few more days until South Park: The Fractured But Whole is out and that is only if you have had time to hammer through the video games that came out this week. The Evil Within 2 and Shadow Of War were also on that anticipation list for so many gamers out there and then we also have Assassin’s Creed Origins the week after that. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/25/17 — 9/29/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of September 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was an exciting week for video games now was it not? It started to feel like it was going to be all over the place and then it was, but it also brought with it a lot more on God Of War and Star Wars Battlefront II so we cannot really complain. Not only that, but there was all kinds of Resident Evil news for all of the consoles out there and the continued push for more on Wolfenstein II and The Evil Within 2. All kinds of twos this week but thankfully video games are well out of that terrible stage of existence now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/18/17 — 9/22/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of September 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another amazing week of video games and everything in the bag. Even though it may have felt as if it was heavy handed toward a particular title, *cough* Call Of Duty: WWII *cough*, there was still a whole lot to cover. Then again, TGS was also going on so it makes perfect sense that there would be a lot of updates and news on all of the video games out there. Hells, we had a chance to see more for Resident Evil 7's upcoming DLC, then we had the Gold announcement for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and even with Vampyr's delay we could not be brought down. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of September 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That wraps up yet another week of video games here and now we get to have a small break. At least from the updates as we have a whole lot of titles releasing here in short order as well as on the close horizon. It may seem like The Evil Within 2 and Shadow Of War are still very far away, but these video games are now only a few weeks off. Then we look at Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite and need to remember that it is only a few days off now. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another short week of video games has now come to a close. Well, at least it has here as we take the weekend to play some of the titles we had to cover or get ready for everything that is to come. There are a lot of video games that were shown off this week that are to come and that just means we all have to get caught up with our backlog so it does not grow too large. All so we can focus on replaying L. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Thus concludes our week of news and updates for our beloved video games. Another pretty solid week when you look at it all and we were able to play a bit of catch up with the reviews we keep promising you. We saw both Night Trap and Life Is Strange get those treatments this week while we were still wading through the new for other video games like Shadow Of War and Assassin’s Creed Origins. Not to mention the surprise addition of Dead Rising 4 the PS4 roster before the end of this year and a lot of great screenshots for Agony and God Of War. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another fine week of video games in the bag and there was still so much that we did not get a chance to cover this week. I guess that is what having another huge gaming event like Gamescom will do to us all when we are just trying to share it all. I mean, we had a lot of updates and news for Shadow Of War this week and a continued update for South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Not to mention some other great video games getting the announcement like Biomutant and Jurassic World Evolution. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/14/17 — 8/18/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There goes yet another week of video games in the bag. I swear that seems like the way we start all of these recaps out there. Nonetheless, we have hit the end of yet another week and it was filled with even more updates and news that could have been expected. There was a lot for Shadow Of War and Assassin’s Creed Origins yet again, and sadly we saw that Crackdown 3 had been delayed yet again until next year. Thankfully though, we have Agents Of Mayhem out there to feel those needs and if you are still on the fence for that title, we just published out review for it so you can get a better idea before purchase. This Week In Video Games 8/7/17 — 8/10/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week has come and gone and we had even more to talk about in the world of video games than was expected. At least expected by me as we are getting close to the next big gaming conventions out there and you'd think that all the studios and publishers would be holding back. Then again, we have some great titles like Assassin’s Creed Origins and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus coming up and we need to talk about those video games for sure. Then mix in some extra coverage on SDCC that we've been working on getting out to you and a few new reviews and I guess I can see how we made it a pretty hectic week again. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/31/17 — 8/4/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag and there was still so much we didn't get to. Even with it only being SDCC and Animazement being the big conventions that just happened there seems to still be a whole lot of new information and updates out there. More so with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Agents Of Mayhem, and Observer all just about to release next week and massive info dumps for all of those video games adding on to all of the other things. There is still much more we have to bring you from the conventions that will pick up next week as long as things don't go completely off the rails out there for it all. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/24/17 — 7/28/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of July 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was totally a recovery week in video games for us over here and the industry in whole. Two of the bigger cons for the industry have now wrapped and we have a few more off in the near future and here we site continuing the coverage out of both of those major events. That's not to say that is all we have to cover for video games as we did get to see a whole lot more for Hellblade this week as we head toward the release date for that, but of course there was still a lot from Call Of Duty, Wolfenstein II, and Marvel Vs Capcom fresh out of SDCC and there is still plenty more to come. This is always the best time of year for video games in terms of news and updates. Read More...
