A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Once again we have come to a close on all that video games news here on the site. Like many other weeks in the past it definitely looked like things were extremely pointed in terms of announcements and news. Mostly this week towards release dates for titles, Resident Evil, Assassin's Creed, or Alien Isolation. If you take a look at the list below for all the video games we covered this week you can totally see how that all played out. If not then you may need to get your eyes checked out. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of September 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week of exciting video games news has come and passed and we are all a bit wiser and stronger for it all. Okay, maybe I wouldn't go that far as to say that but at least there was a whole lot to have covered this week in gaming. Hey, this week we even were able to cover something out of the film industry as it happened to be 100% involved in gaming here. That would be the release of the Heavenly Sword CGI film which we also were able to review. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games PAX Prime is now in full swing and all of you fans of video games are finally getting a chance to play or look at your anticipated titles that will be coming out soon or in 2015. Hells you are also going to be at ground zero for when new IPs are announced much like the recently announced Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell from Deep Silver. It wouldn't be a video games convention if it didn't have all that fun stuff mixed in. Unfortunately not everyone can make it out to PAX Prime and that is where we have stepped in. Read More...

Review: The Walking Dead Season 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Season 2 has come to a close and it is time to let you all know what I thought about the latest episode and the whole season That is a wrap on season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale. Episode five has been released and there is No Going Back now. See what I did there? I was lucky enough to be able to sit down and play through the final episode and give it the old gamer review. I'll try to keep things as spoiler free as possible but in the mix I will warn that there are a few spoilers I feel I had to touch upon as they were either things I loved or hated about the conclusion here. Also, I am trying something new for this review. Read More...

No we can all move on to play all of those games that we've been putting off until the weekend now and dig right in. That does not mean that we didn't have a whole lot to cover in the world of gaming news. There was quite a bit as well as a few reviews for games coming out next week here. That would be both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux that I am talking about here. Read More...

No Going Back Now As Episode 5 Of The Walking Dead Is Coming Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The release dates and trailer for The Walking Dead from Telltale has been released and it is looking more grim than ever This has to be one of the shortest turn around for a new episode for this season of The Walking Dead from Telltale. I'm not going to complain at all as it is high time that we get to see how this whole thing will end and hopefully what to speculate on for the previously announced Season Three. We have been able to watch Clementine grow both in age and in character so it should be interesting to see how all of that pans out as we move into the season's end of The Walking Dead. Before you hop into the trailer, this is your first spoiler alert; here are release dates for this final episode of The Walking Dead season two. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 8/11/14 — 8/15/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of August 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming It was Gamescom week so as to be expected the gaming news came rolling in nonstop. We are still trying to recover and get everything we can out there for you readers. There were some ups, like Until Dawn getting revitalized for the PS4, and then there were some downs, like Rise Of The Tomb Raider being slated as an Xbox exclusive for a bit of time. Then again that is only bad news for those out there planning on playing the game on a PlayStation or PC so you can take that as you will for now. Another bit of interesting-ness in the world of gaming is that it seemed like there was a hard push for horror games this week. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 8/4/14 — 8/8/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of August 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming It sure feels like this week has been one big tease for gaming news. Yes there were a few new items out there and such but it really felt like there was a lot "here's something but you have to wait for the full thing still." I hate teases. Especially when they lead to a whole lot of nothing and waiting for weeks to pass by. Nothing worse for us in the gaming world is there? Read More...

This Week In Gaming 7/28/14 — 8/1/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of August 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming You would think that in the wake of SDCC we would be occupied with more on the gaming recaps than we would the fresh news coming out afterwards. That was not the case in this week and as usual we did our best to bring you everything we could in the world of gaming so you can have an unbiased perspective on things. Ok, well as unbiased as anyone truly can be who doesn't get paid by companies to talk up and excite the internet just to spark the burning in your wallets. None the less though we were also able to recap some of the great gaming experiences from last week here for you. Read More...

SDCC Experience: The Walking Dead Escape
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape was back at SDCC giving all of us a feel for what a Survival Horror game really feels like For the third year running (pun intended) I was able to experience The Walking Dead Escape at SDCC. I broke down what it was all about before but I'll give the quick version just in case you are lazy. In a nut shell it is a real world survival horror event that tests if you could escape from one end of a location, Petco Park in this case, to the other without being swarmed by the undead horde. The Walking Dead Escape of course using portions of the AMC show, comic books, and video games to theme everything. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming Well this has been one crazy week in the gaming world. I blame it mostly on SDCC and all of the craziness that brings with it. It is way more than just comics and their other forms of media outlets. We've been trying to keep up with everything we can while covering all of the stuff on the show floor directly but it can get insanely overwhelming. But I am not here to complain about all of that. I am here to bring you all that gaming news I know you are craving to sink your eye balls into. Read More...

It Looks Like The Walking Dead Is Getting Insanely 'Real' Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A few new screenshots have been released for The Walking Dead and it shows some rather dire scenes We have a few new screenshots for the next episode of The Walking Dead and it looks like there are going to be a few more deaths to affect us all. That is at least if we take that away from one of these new screenshots here. In this specific instance it looks like Kenny may be back on the market in the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead. If it is a bite or something else is still left to the imagination of the new episode but things do not look good for the group. Read More...
