The Zombies Are Coming So Get Ready To Throw Anything
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Throw Anything A new VR experience, Throw Anything, is coming to our homes soon and we can get a taste of what to expect here for Throw Anything right now If there is one thing that gamers love with VR it has to be zombies and weird experiences with them. At least that has to be the thought here with Throw Anything that is coming from VisualLight. I mean, Throw Anything is a new VR title heading to Early Access on February 28th here that will place us in a high-rise room that has zombies climbing up to it and our only defense is to literally do what the title of the game says. Thankfully, said title also means that we can indeed hurl anything and everything at the zombies to stop them. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The release date for Moss has been set as the developers make the February timeline with Moss landing right before the end of the month It looks like Polyarc has finally settled on a release date for Moss and now it has been set. Not too long ago we covered the game and there was still no set date other than February leaving a lot of people wondering when this PSVR title was actually going to come or if it would make the mark. For those who have not been following Moss here, I am talking about what we had to look at last week without a solid release date set still. All of that can be forgotten now as we can look to add the game onto our PS4 on February 27th now. Read More...

Moss Is Making Sure We Are A Character & Not Just A Viewer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Moss New gameplay for Moss is out there now and now we get to see just how Moss will blend the PSVR experience with a platformer style of game It may be time to put on your "remembering pants" to think back to a game announced at E3 named Moss. Maybe it still rings a bell for you or maybe you remember there being a title named that which was shown off from Polyarc and featured an adventurous mouse as the lead. Remember it or not, here we are with more for this PS VR title and just what to expect if it makes the February of this year release date that Moss currently has set for itself. There is still time for the release but not much to get the word out if that is the case. Read More...

The Persistence The release date for The Persistence is now set and with it comes some new gameplay for The Persistence to show you how this first-person stealth horror game will play in VR It has been over a year since we first heard about The Persistence coming to PS VR and it looked pretty creepy and ready to put some fear into us in the new landscape. Review — Cold Iron
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of January 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Cold Iron We sit down and review Cold Iron. A VR take on the old-west showdown style of gameplay across different worlds. Here is our review of Cold Iron If there is one thing that VR is good for it is putting you in a different world doing things that you normally could not get to do in real life and that is something that Cold Iron is aiming to do. Pun totally intended. For those who have missed the memo over the last stretch of time, this is Catch & Release's latest title for the PS VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift. Read More...

Beat Saber Will Have You Slashing & Grooving In VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of January 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Beat Saber A new rhythm VR title, Beat Saber, has more to show off and it looks like Beat Saber is going to be mix of some other great titles all rolled into one If you were sitting around hoping that someone would combine Guitar Hero, Fruit Ninja, and an iconic weapon from a huge Sci-Fi franchise, then you are in luck as it looks like Beat Saber will answer that hope. It may sound like a lot to take in there, but this is a new VR title that Hyperbolic Magnetism is working on for the Oculus, Vive, and PS VR systems that will give you a blend of all of that. The rhythm of GH, the slashiness of Fruit Ninja, and all with lightsabers of sorts to keep the custom music flowing and your beat bouncing in tune. Read More...

Review — High Noon VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of January 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
High Noon We sit down and review High Noon VR. An old-west shooting gallery in a VR setting. Here is our review of High Noon VR When it comes to VR one of the staple genres that come to mind are the shooter or shooting gallery style game and this is where we find High Noon VR in the mix of it all. It is a bit more than just that out of the gate, but that is about the basics to get us all started here with Octobox Interactive's VR title that hit the PC through various means here not so long ago. Just like other platforms in the past, they needed something to fill a need and that is just what this game is aiming, pun intended, to do. Read More...

There Will Be A Whole Lot To Fear In The Inpatient
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of January 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The Inpatient A new teaser for The Inpatient is here to show off just how The Inpatient will feel and what kinds of fears we can expect to see In a few weeks, those gamers out there who happen to have a nice PS VR will get to experience what The Inpatient has in store for them. Those who do not will be left to wonder what Supermassive Games has crafted and came up with before Until Dawn in terms of story. It is weird to have an exclusive on an exclusive given that not all PS4 owners have gone VR just yet, but The Inpatient could be one of those titles that causes a shift and more players to drop their hard-earned cash. Unless they are all cool with either missing out or watching what is going on through non-VR videos out there of other people playing the game. Read More...

Cold Iron A new VR title named Cold Iron is coming to us all soon and Cold Iron looks to give us all a new type of game to play in the space that we have yet to experience It looks like we are getting a new VR experience here as we have Cold Iron announced here and hitting the PSVR, Oculus, and Vive on January 30th. That is of this year and not next, so we have quite some quick turnaround here from Catch & Release who is putting it all together for us. It is even more impressive as it also sounds like they are trying to kick off a new genre type in the VR space with Cold Iron. Read More...

The Inpatient Is Aiming To Bring You Deeper Into The Immersion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The Inpatient A new behind the scenes video for The Inpatient is here to show us just how much further into the experience The Inpatient will take us besides just VR It is no surprise that games like The Inpatient are aiming to give us all the best immersion that we can hope for on the PS VR. That is kind of one of the things that VR is all about, but it looks like there was a lot more for this game than Supermassive Games had to show earlier on. At least out of the demos I have played, but come January 23rd it looks like we are all going to have even more reasons to give The Inpatient a go as they have many other hidden gems mixed in to bring the immersion level to an all-time high. At least for this title and on the PS4, but still it is a pretty solid feat to have accomplished when you look at it. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The gold edition for Resident Evil 7 is here and now we have a new look at Joe Baker for Resident Evil 7 and just what he is looking to do Today is the day that Resident Evil 7's Gold Edition is hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and that means that all of the DLC we have been waiting for is also hitting the systems to fill out the game just a bit more. That's right, as well as this big bundle for the game that Capcom has for us, they also have all of the DLC out there from the Not A Hero bit where we take on the role of Chris Redfield again, but also the "found footage" part where we get to meet Joe Baker. Yes, there is one more to the clan of villains in Resident Evil 7 and this just happens to be the grizzled man we have seen in the past teasers for the DLC. Read More...

The Demons Are Coming As The Exorcist: Legion VR Lands Here Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
The Exorcist A new VR experience in The Exorcist universe is almost here as we know when The Exorcist: Legion VR will be hitting the Oculus, HTC Vive, and PSVR It looks like we can add another huge horror franchise to the list of VR titles out there as The Exorcist: Legion VR is coming to us all on November 22nd to carry on all of the prophecies that were laid out in the lore. Well at least it is coming to the PC on the HTC Vive and Oculus as Fun Train and Wolf & Wood have not given a release date for the PS VR, but none the less we are getting a nice and creepy extension to The Exorcist III. Nonetheless, the game is coming to us and it looks like it will add to the "the scariest franchise" in horror movie history. Read More...
