by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Zombieland A new film tie-in for Zombieland 2 is on the way as we have Zombieland: Double Tap — Road Trip announced for us all It looks as if we have a new movie tie-in game coming at us, as it has been announced that Zombieland: Double Tap — Road Trip is going to be a thing just before the release of the new film. Start the rejoicing or the groans depending on how you feel about film tie-in games. This one is coming from High Voltage, though, and looks to give us the twin-stick shooter we may have always wanted for the Zombieland franchise since the film came out a decade ago. Read More...

Maneater Takes A Deeper Dive Behind The Scenes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Maneater A new behind the scenes video for Maneater is here to give us a bit more on how Maneater has been coming to life and what to expect There really has not been a whole lot out there for Maneater as of yet after having it announced so long ago. Even with the solid showing of it during E3 this year from Blindside Interactive, there is still so much that we have yet to learn from Tripwire Interactive in regards to is all. It seems to be the way video games have been going as of late and with the weirdness of Maneater, one would expect there to be a bit more. This is where that all seems to come in for those who have not been keeping completely up on the game as of yet or pre-ordered it for their PC. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have finally recouped a bit from the epic week of SDCC and had a lot to catch up on the video games front. Not only from the event but also from all the stuff that fell through the cracks due to the team being on the ground. That means we were able to come back and see new stuff for Borderlands 3 and Blair Witch. All in time for the release of Wolfenstein: Youngblood while giving out our thoughts on Doctor Who VR and Iron Man VR. Read More...

SDCC Hands-On — Marvel’s Iron Man VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Iron Man While at SDCC, I was able to see Marvel’s Iron Man VR in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Marvel’s Iron Man VR So many were shocked to find out we were getting Marvel’s Iron Man VR and there has been a lot of hype around it after it was announced for the PSVR. That was at least the case for me, so I went on the hunt during SDCC this year to find Camouflaj and give the demo of it all a go. Surprising enough, I was able to do that and hop right into the helmet while suiting up. Read More...

Get Ready For The Gunfight In Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty New gameplay for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is here to show off the new multiplayer mode coming to this version of Call Of Duty Well, that headline may seem a bit off as I would hope that you would expect to have a gunfight in a Call Of Duty title, but this one may be a bit different than you think. In fact, what we are talking about here is a new gameplay mode that Infinity Ward is placing in the multiplayer side of it all. Not the most creative of titles for the mode, sure, but it is what we are getting here in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare. Read More...

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Shows How Nature Is Cruel
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Ancestors A new video series for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has kicked off to take us further behind the anthropology we will get to know in Ancestors I hope by now that we all know the basics of what is going on Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey and just how things will evolve as we play. Not just in terms of gameplay, but also the way that Panache Digital Games is going about sharing the experience with us and trying to stick close to the real situations that brought humanity to the place it is today. It looks like Ancestors is going to be much more than a game for us when it launches this year on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Now we get a little bit more of a treat to see just how that will all be. Man Of Medan New gameplay footage for Man Of Medan shows us just how the co-op mode in Man Of Medan will actually work when we play the game Last week we found out that Man Of Medan was going to have some multiplayer options to the game when it launched. The game will still have its solo mode, but Supermassive Games is giving us a way to play co-op online and with many friends on the couch. Not the big news here. The news we have here is that we now have a look at just how that online multiplayer will work when Man Of Medan launches. Read More...

Leave The Dirt & Chaos Of Earth Behind With Everreach: Project Eden
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Everreach We have the reveal for Everreach: Project Eden as another action RPG is on its way to the various platforms with Everreach We can leave Earth once again, as we have Everreach: Project Eden on its way to us here in September for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Well, at least the last two will be out in September with the PS4 getting its launch a bit later on as Elder Games and Headup Games work out all of the details for that. It may sound odd at this point, but that is how it is. This is also not the point here as it is all about the announcement for Everreach: Project Eden and the bit of gameplay we have to look at for this 3rd person action RPG that will be using elements from other titles in the same vein. This Week In Video Games 7/8/19 — 7/12/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of July 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag and onward to the next and what wonders it may hold for our video games. My guess is that it will have a light load for next week given that it is SDCC and most of it will be rehashed versions of things from E3. I just hope we get more of the positive news for our video games instead of the delays for Psychonauts 2 and very little for Shenmue III we had this week. Given how close Control is to launch, it would make sense that we see something else coming. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Disintegration A new sci-fi FPS, Disintegration, is announced and we will know more for Disintegration next month during its bigger Gamescom reveal A new first-person shooter is on the way as we have the announcement for Disintegration today. Well, more of a pre-announcement as we now have word that V1 Interactive and Private Division is working on this title, but we will need to wait until Gamescom to actually see what it is all about. Unless you want to speculate that Disintegration is a weird FPS where we are a spaceship of some sorts. That would be an easy takeaway based on the short little video we have here. Read More...
