We Sit Down And Review Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Is it just an expensive demo or a real fun game? Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been labeled as one large demo and prologue to The Phantom Pain. In fact there have been gameplay sessions of the game that show it can be completed in a little over seven minutes. The game is also not the same price as a normal retail title but it is still $30 but is it worth the price of admission to Metal Gear Solid V? Let's dig in and see if you should drop the cash and time. Read More...

inFAMOUS Second Son Has A Day One Patch That Will Add About Six Extra Hours Of Gameplay. If You Pre-Ordered… Usually when you hear "day one patch" it is a bad thing to hear but that it is not the case for inFAMOUS Second Son it would seem. Yes, there will be a day one patch for the game but it will be bringing more than just some tweaks and fixes to balance the game out. In fact this will be bringing five hours of extra game play for those who didn't pre-order the game and an estimated six for those who did. All of this over a little bit of time though. Read More...

We are so close to the launch of inFAMOUS Second Son and all anyone has really talked about is how great the game looks and the amazing powers we are going to get to wield. In this case we are talking about how specifically the audio was designed and implemented in the game to add that wonderful extra little spice to add to the fun. I'll let the guys from Sucker Punch explain how the audio direction went in inFAMOUS Second Son but I want to note some very specific things. Read More...

How Fast Can You Beat Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was always claimed to be short. But ten minutes short? Check it out. There has been no big secret that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a short game. The length lent itself to the lower price for the game as well as the lack of a platinum trophy in the end game. That said, would you believe that it can be beaten in about ten minutes? Yes, I said ten minutes. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of March 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We have a plethora of new screens for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Look it's Psycho Mantis! We are quickly coming up on the launch of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes so it's good that we are getting a few new screen shots to help tide us over until that date. Most of them look lifted from gameplay videos that we have seen before or just title screens so…wait a hot minute…is that Psycho Mantis? Holy crap it is and in his PS1 low res glory. Maybe it is worth a deeper look at all of these new screens just to see what else we have going on here. Read More...

New Details 'Leaked' For Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Konami tried to 'leak' information about Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, but can they really 'leak' the information? Usually when you hear about video game news leaking it is due to someone who pirated or downloaded something about the game that the PR reps, publishers, or developers didn't want in the wild yet. That is not the case this time with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. At least if the PR email that I was sent as anything to say about it. Read More...

A new video from Konami showcases the graphical differences between the console platform versions of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Which is the best? Since we are still in the middle of a 'console war' as well as transitions in said 'war' wouldn't it be nice to see how Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes looks on all of them before you buy it. You know, so you can make an informed decision and what not before you finalize your purchase and all that jazz. It would be nice so you can play into the ever changing 'console war' and not to mention find which version of MGSV: Ground Zeroes will look the best. Read More...

inFAMOUS Second Son Making It Rain In The Game's World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of January 2014 - 07:59 PM ]
Just As In The Real World, It Is Going To Be Raining In inFAMOUS Second Son's Version Of Seattle. Here Is How The Dev Team Is Accomplishing That. Every time we take another look at inFAMOUS Second Son all I can think is how we are getting closer to being able to play out our fantasies in a simulation of real world locations. Seattle being the location in this instance. This seems a bit odd for the fire and neon wielding hero of the game as it is well known for its rain but I am sure it will work somehow. Read More...

Can We ‘Quiet’ Down And Focus On The Drama Surrounding Metal Gear Solid V?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of September 2013 - 10:35 PM ]
I want to start off this whole thing with a nice quote from the amazing film Orgazmo. Take a look before I go into the bulk of what I want to talk about in this posting about the "over sexualization" in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V and comments made my Kojima. Just in case you skipped the clip, I don't know why you would have, it is pretty much how I feel about this whole "Sexy up" the characters in the game drama all over the internet. If you haven't heard this yet, doubtful, there was a huge splash made when Hideo Kojima spoke about making the characters in MGSV more erotic in hopes to get cosplayers and figurines of the game all over every convention. This is paraphrased mind you, but that is the short and dirty version. Read More...

See The Next Generation Of Mo-Cap With inFAMOUS: Second Son
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of June 2013 - 05:53 PM ]
Let's add a bit of a break from the E3 trailers and PrE3 announcements for a moment and take a look at how some of the next gen tech is shaping up in regards to motion capture. Since both the PlayStation 4 and inFAMOUS: Second Son are going to be huge things at the event I am sure we will get to see more, but for now let's look at how much detail the new hardware and software will handle the fine movements in a game. Some of these being things that can help define a character's mood without the need of speaking. Pretty interesting even though the main character looks to have a lazy eye most of the time.
