Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week down and in the bag for us all out there for all of our video games out there. One that had a whole lot to take in along with various launches out there too. Hogwarts Legacy is out there for all now and we can only wait for other titles like Dead Island 2, Tekken 8, while seeing the delay of The Last Of Us on the PC. Texas It is time to hear more for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and how they are capturing the sounds of Texas and Chain Saws Time to go behind the scenes for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre once more with the next video we have to show off how the sounds of the game have been captured. Yes, it looks like Sumo Nottingham went out there into the world to re-record a bunch of new sounds for the chain saws we will be slaying each other with. Not just in the basic ways, but some of them that go all the way back to the classic Texas Chain Saw Massacre films. No resampling of any of the film sounds for the game but they did head out to find the machinery that is from the era and locations that everything was filmed around just to give us a little more of the authenticity to the horror game we should expect. Texas The Texas Chain Saw Massacre drops out more of those collectible cards for the Texas Slaughter Family out there After getting a few of them teased out there before, we have a few more of those playing cards for the killers in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. In fact, here we go with the rest of the Slaughter Family in the game that Gun Interactive is getting together for us. This last weekend, I joined my fellow A-KON 19 goers in a gathering of monsterous proportions. After 3 long hours of waiting, dehydration, an upset firemarshal and plently of waiting in line, 669* of us broke the record, "MOST PEOPLE DRESSED AS VIDEOGAME CHARACTERS IN ONE GATHERING". Now although the number was only 669*, I can assure you that the total number of people qualified at the con was in the 1,000s.I was proud to be amongst the many who went through an afternoon of choas to get the job done.
