Judas Will Want Us To Try To Fix What We Have Broken Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of February 2024 - 10:00 PM ]
Judas One more trailer for Judas is out there to show off more of the gameplay and story that Judas will have for us Since the reveal of Judas back in 2022, yes it has been that long, there has not been all that much to go on from the game. Outside of the basics we could assume from what Ghost Story Games was already known for with the team and game director. After all of this time, it looks as if they were ready to give us more during the latest PlayStation State Of Play event. Only a little bit more, but something that will highlight that Judas is both very similar and very different from the other titles in any of their histories. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of December 2022 - 06:00 PM ]
Judas A new title, Judas, has been revealed and Judas is the long-awaited game from the team that brought us BioShock It feels like we have been waiting for a long time for this, but here we are with the official reveal for Judas. This is the upcoming game from Ghost Story Games, the studio that is being helmed by the people that brought us all BioShock and BioShock Infinite. A studio that has had a whole lot of buzz around it for a while now but with little to share with us all. That is until Judas was revealed during The Game Awards and is set to hit all of our PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC systems sometime in the future. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of March 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with putting one more week of video games in the bag and heading toward the next. It is an endless cycle, but it does offer up a fun game loop to enjoy as we see titles like Wanted: Dead and Ragnaröck get some interesting updates this week. Not to mention all of the updates coming to Returnal and a new review for A Musical Story that we had the pleasure to drop out there to you. We all live our lives as we do in our video games, just with things generally being less fun and extravagant. Read More...

Review — A Musical Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of March 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
A Musical Story We sit down and review A Musical Story. A funky new rhythm game that explores musical memory. Here is our review of A Musical Story It feels like true rhythm games have taken a backseat over the years with only a few standing the test of time. They are fun, but for some, they get burnt out rather quickly. Now we have A Musical Story entering the scene from Glee-Cheese Studio and Digerati to see if they can add more to the map and offer up something new and unique. A title that aims to give us some fresh much, but also tap into a story and play with the idea of musical memory. Read More...

A Musical Story The release dates for A Musical Story are set down and we do not have long to wait to experience A Musical Story You would not be blamed if you spaced on A Musical Story being in the cards to release out there, but given how long it has been to see a solid date for the game, you could be forgiven. Glee-Cheese Studio and Digerati have been hard at work to get this fun looking rhythm title out there for all of the platforms and now we have a release set upon us. We can all expect to add A Musical Story to our PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PC, and mobile devices right at the start of March. Read More...

Showa American Story Will Take Us On A Whole Different Kind Of Journey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of January 2022 - 10:00 PM ]
Showa American Story A new RPG, Showa American Story, is announced with Showa American Story taking us on a weird stroll through an Alt United States I am all about getting new and unique IPs out in the mix with the normal rehashes and sequels we have, and here we go with Showa American Story. A new RPG coming from 2PGames and NEKCOM for the PS4, PS5, and PC. A new RPG that will take us down an alternate history path where the United States has been bought out by Japan, zombies and monsters roam the lands, and there is a need for an anime-style hero who is cleaning up the streets while searching for her sister. Showa American Story sounds just as insane as the gameplay we have to reveal it all here looks. Read More...

A New Release Window Is Set For The Forgotten City
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
The Forgotten City The Forgotten City is now set to release this summer and it looks like The Forgotten City will also be hitting some new platforms too It feels like that time loop in The Forgotten City is going on in the real world at this point, with the game now getting a Summer release out there for us all. Those keeping a close eye on what Modern Storyteller was setting up would know that the original plan was to drop the game in the Winter of 2020. That has well come and gone with no one out there having the chance and time to play The Forgotten City now. Read More...

A Musical Story Is Coming To Take Us Through A Silent Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of March 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
A Musical Story A new rhythm game, A Musical Story, is announced for us and it looks like A Musical Story will tell us a story through the music and art It is always fun to see when we have new IPs coming out from small teams and here we go with the latest titled A Musical Story. A new rhythm title that is coming out of Glee-Cheese Studio for the Switch, Xbox One, PC, and iOS platforms. That is the current list but I have a feeling that could expand over time. No matter the case, A Musical Story is coming and it looks like it is going to try to tell an interesting story with nothing more than the music and visuals for us to experience. Read More...

The Forgotten City Is Now Aiming For A Winter 2020 Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of December 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
The Forgotten City The release window for The Forgotten City is now pushed out to Winter of next year but we have a new trailer to see for The Forgotten City It looks like all the time travel of The Forgotten City did not get the game out to us all sooner as it looks like it will be hitting the Xbox One and PC some time in the Winter of 2020. Yes, that would be about a year out from where we are now and that means more waiting but also more time for Modern Storyteller to put things together perfectly for this title. Sure, that sounds like a small excuse on my end of it all but I will take a polished version of The Forgotten City over a shoddy one that we all gripe about until the end of time. Read More...

Arise: A Simple Story Is Announced To Take Us Down An Emotional Path
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of September 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Arise A new title, Arise: A Simple Story, was announced during the State Of Play and we will see Arise taking us down some interesting life paths Sometimes in the mix of all the darker and hardcore games out there we need something a bit softer and to that it looks like we have Arise: A Simple Story to look forward to. Even if it looks like it all starts off at a darker place with the main character dying right from the start. That is kind of the hook that Piccolo Studio is going for as we will be reliving the memories of the main character in this way. Read More...

The Forgotten City Is Heading To The Xbox One Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The Forgotten City The Forgotten City is no longer a PC only title, as it looks like Xbox fans will also be able to enjoy The Forgotten City this year If you felt like you were being left out of The Forgotten City's release, as it was only shown for PC back at E3, then you will be glad to know it is branching out to the Xbox One at the same time. That time is still late in this year, but Modern Storyteller is poised to bring the game to the platform as well now. Not the largest of surprises given that The Forgotten City is based on a mod for a massively popular title on the systems and many would like to have options when playing these things. Read More...

Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — Jailhouse Block
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — Jailhouse Block. This is the third episode of Telltale's second take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did The story continues for Jesse and crew as the third episode of Minecraft: Story Mode is underway for us. It has been a weird ride for us yet again with this game and season, but here we go with yet one more episode in the mix. No doubt, this should be one of the ones that set things up for the future if it goes along the path of other Telltale Games' titles out there, but that could be in the next episode as well. Not Every Prisoner Wears Orange In Minecraft: Story Mode's Third Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Minecraft The trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode's third episode is here and it looks like we will meet many other ‘prisoners’ of this Minecraft world Here we go with the latest trailer for this season of Minecraft: Story Mode and the third episode set to hit our PS4, Xbox One, PC, or mobile devices on September 19th. We are about to hit the mid-way point of the story that Telltale Games has crafted so far so I guess it is time to start to expect all of those twists and turns to start hitting rather hard now. That is of course if they opt to go the path they normally do and aim to give us more than some fun references to Minecraft and all the things that Mojang has placed out in the world. Read More...
