Horizon The next title in the Horizon Zero Dawn line is announced with Horizon Forbidden West taking us further west than we have been before Another of the big and exciting announcements for the PS5 here has to be Horizon Forbidden West that we are getting next year. It feels almost like a given for this one given how popular the first title and expansion were and it makes sense to push it forward for the next-gen system here. Guerrilla Games would have been missing a shot here in my opinion if they did not go that way. Spider-Man The next big Spider-Man story for the video game universe is now set down with the announcement of Spider-Man: Miles Morales for the PS5 It felt like it was almost a given that we were going to see this on the PS5, but it is official that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is on its way to the console around the same time as launch. Well, that and it is officially announced from Insomniac Games to be another expansion for the PS4 title in the same universe. Resident Evil The next title in the Resident Evil franchise has been announced and the ever-rumored Resident Evil Village is going to be that title We can finally put most of those rumors to bed, as Resident Evil Village is officially announced and heading to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021. This would be the eighth full title, even if the numbering is a bit obfuscated, to come to the franchise from Capcom and now we can see what part of those rumors were true or false. PS5 The PlayStation 5 hardware is now out there to give us a taste of what the future might be with two different PlayStation 5 options Here we go with the official reveal for the PS5 after a nice long event that Sony just held for it all. The one thing that everyone has been waiting for, outside of the price, we now have and it looks like some of those PlayStation 5 rumors and images were kind of correct. As you can see, the PS5 is going to be going with the white color scheme and using a lot more contours to it all. Hellsinger A new rhythm-shooter, Metal: Hellsinger, is announced with Hellsinger mixing up the FPS and Rhythm genre to keep the blood pounding in our ears It is not like it has not been done before, but the rhythm genre and the FPS genre do not always seem like a go-to when thinking about a game, but here we are with the announcement for Metal: Hellsinger. This would be the next attempt at this style of game from The Outsiders and Funcom slated to hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC sometime next year. As the name kind of describes, Metal: Hellsinger is going to focus more on the heavy metal side of the music as we run ourselves through a hellish landscape slaying demons and devils to the beat of some amazing guitar licks and brutal screams. Godfall A new teaser for Godfall has dropped to give off a very small bit more for the world of Godfall still yet to come There has been a huge lack of news for Godfall over the past few months with only minor bits being released here and there. Maybe this is because Counterplay Games is holding off for some big reveal here with a different show or maybe it is because Gearbox Publishing is trying to build some kind of hype with it all. No matter the case, there has been very little officially out there for Godfall and now we can add slightly more to it all. Godfall The first real character for Godfall is shown off with a very slight tease for Godfall that might bring us much more Most of us have been waiting to see more for Godfall, at least legitimately, for most of the year here. There have been a few things that have claimed to be leaks out there, but nothing officially from Counterplay Games or Gearbox Publishing to show off this upcoming PC and PS5 title. Outriders The first broadcast for Outriders is here to take us into the world of Outriders and how we will be able to use the Trickster when in the game The first broadcast for Outriders is out there for us all to consume now as People Can Fly take us further into their new and upcoming shooter for the PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. There is still no date for when we will actually get to fire off some rounds or special attacks in the game, but that does not stop us from having a nice and long bit of footage to look at. Cyberpunk One more look at the limited Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X is here to show us how it could be more than just a Cyberpunk skinned system It really feels like Microsoft is leaning into Cyberpunk 2077 pretty hard since we got the huge announcements last year at E3 and then then exclusive Xbox One X that the team has been working on. It still feels a bit weird to be pushing this system out there given the newer systems coming only a few months after CD Projekt RED drops their game on the world, but they are going to do what they want right now. Outriders A few new short clips for Outriders have been released to give us a small taste of what some of the classes in Outriders will bring We have a new and small update for Outriders to go over here today. Well, more of an emphasis on small than anything as we have had a few short video clips released out there in the wilds of twitter from People Can Fly so they can highlight parts of the character classes we are going to get to play in the game.
