by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of January 2014 - 08:05 PM ]
Io Interactive send all us Hitman fans an open letter informing us all of the next gen version of franchise. They claim to have learned from their mistakes and achievements but would you agree? Well this is good news. Looks like we are getting another Hitman title in the not too distant future. Not only that, but we are getting it on the PS4, Xbox One, as well as the PC. All from the same company who brought my personal favorite iteration of the franchise, Hitman: Absolution. Color me excited and let's go through what we have been told thus far. Read More...

Alien Isolation Is Proof The Franchise Will Never Die
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of January 2014 - 07:24 PM ]
Alien Isolation has been announced from Sega and Creative Assembly games but will it be the Aliens game we hoped we were getting before? During the hullabaloo of CES it looks like Sega announced a new Aliens title, Alien Isolation. Yea, after the huge fiasco that was Aliens: Colonial Marines, it looks like Sega and 20th Century just doesn't want to let the franchise fall aside and let the fans still love what they already loved. One bonus that Alien Isolation does look to have is that it is being handled by a new studio, so there is that. Why don't we take a look at the announcement trailer and see what is going on here. Basement Crawl Is Shaping Up To Be The Creepiest 'Bomberman'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of January 2014 - 11:52 PM ]
Basement Crawl, the new title coming to the PS4 is on the edge of release…so let's have some new screenshots. Back during Halloween I brought you a look at Basement Crawl. I also had a bit of fun speculating on what the game was all about outside of being a creepy looking PS4 title. If you're eyes haven't already betrayed me an ventured below to look at the new screenshots, then let me inform you that we have five new shots that help show off how Basement Crawl is like a creepy version of Bomberman in sorts. Not only that, but it kind of looks like my fun speculation is a little on par. At least as it goes with the trying to kill each other in a creepy basement. Read More...

A Few Updates On PlayStation Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of January 2014 - 05:31 PM ]
PlayStation Now was announced and we got some of the news but after getting to talk to some of the people behind the service we have a few updates. Earlier I wrote about my experiences with Sony's new PlayStation Now service that will be coming to market in the next half a year or so. I had a few reservations as well as a few other questions crop up during my writing. Being semi-responsible I decided to go and get some better clarifications and answers to expand on my experience. Here is what I learned directly from the horse's mouth at CES. Read More...

CES 2014 Hands On: PlayStation Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of January 2014 - 05:32 PM ]
Sony unveiled PlayStation Now at this year's CES and had a little taste of it on the show floor. Here's what I discovered while giving it a whirl. In case you have missed the announcement, Sony has announced PlayStation Now as a new video game streaming service coming to the PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and Bravia TVs in the near future. Think of it along the lines of OnLive or the PC game streaming feature from GameFly but aimed at PlayStation games and at Sony products solely. That is the general gist of things but here's a bit more of a break down for you. Read More...

Get Teased Some More For Tom Clancy's The Division
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of December 2013 - 07:24 PM ]
The New Tom Clancy's The Division Trailer Shows Off The Amazing Snowdrop Engine But Nothing In Terms Of Gameplay I have heard so many people talk about how awesome The Division looks and how excited everyone is for it. After watching a few of the gameplay videos online, because I missed the first big showing at E3, I too have been getting more and more interested in The Division. I am not a huge Tom Clancy fan but the visuals and little bit of gameplay I have seen makes me ignore that part of the game's title and keep alerts up on anything new. Like most of you I got excited when it was stated there was going to be new gameplay video during the VGX awards last weekend. Read More...

The Unreal Engine 4 And A Bit More Under The Hood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of December 2013 - 11:38 PM ]
Shock And Awe At The Power And Utility Given With The Unreal Engine 4. We've Seen The Final Project. Now See How It Was Done. Time to take a little side trip away from the normal hustle and bustle of gaming and go down the avenue of how some of our favorite games, or soon to be favorite games, are made. I think any of us would be hard pressed to not be able to name a title made via the Unreal Engine. If you have to think too hard on that then you must turn in your 'Gamer Card' now. Read More...

Story Time: Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of November 2013 - 05:57 PM ]
Looks Like Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee Is Getting The HD Make Over With Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty. Here's The Story Trailer And Some Proof I remember way back in 1997 when I first spun up Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee in my PS One. At the time I thought it was the pinnacle of graphics and fun story telling. Now it looks like we are getting a HD rendition of some sort with Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty. From what I remember of the original and see below in the story trailer it is the same in most ways. But that is to be expected from a full remake am I right? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of November 2013 - 11:28 PM ]
There Are A Couple Of New Trailers Out For Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. They Showcase Some New Gameplay And The Déjà Vu Mode I don't know if you want to take this as good news for PlayStation owners or not but it looks like Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is going to have a mode just for them. This mode is simply called Déjà Vu and from the looks of it, it is a mode that allows you to replay missions in Metal Gear Solid V using the original skins from the PS One days. Exciting stuff to say the least. Read More...

The PlayStation 4 Red Line Issue And A Possible Fix
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of November 2013 - 10:49 PM ]
The PlayStation 4 Has Had Reports Of An Overheating Issue Leading To The 'Red Line Of Death'. Here Is A Possible Fix For You So the PlayStation 4 has only been officially out in North America for a few days. I, like many other excited gamers, spent many hours tooling around in the system, playing games, and watching videos. Fortunately for myself I have yet to run into any of the issues that seem to have been reported all over the internet the last few days. The bricking 'Blue Pulse Of Death' and the 'Red Line Of Death' seem to be the most common in the mix. Read More...

This Is The Second Part Where We Cover The Multiplayer Of The Game The new Call Of Duty is here and it’s that time again for players to put many hours into the games' multiplayer. Looks Like We Are Officially Getting A New Uncharted On The PlayStation 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of November 2013 - 06:49 PM ]
A New Uncharted Title Has Been Announced For The PlayStation 4, But That Is Really All That Has Been Said Today is the day that PlayStation 4 officially hits the streets of North America but that isn't the only news that Sony wants people focused on. It shouldn't be a huge surprise but a new Uncharted title has been announced for the PlayStation 4. Something that was kind of a given as it was teased that there was going to be another huge title announced just before the console's launch. I figured it was going to be either another God Of War title or Uncharted as they are the most logical to show off some of the power of the PS4. Read More...
