Get Teased Some More For Tom Clancy's The Division

I have heard so many people talk about how awesome The Division looks and how excited everyone is for it. After watching a few of the gameplay videos online, because I missed the first big showing at E3, I too have been getting more and more interested in The Division. I am not a huge Tom Clancy fan but the visuals and little bit of gameplay I have seen makes me ignore that part of the game's title and keep alerts up on anything new.

Like most of you I got excited when it was stated there was going to be new gameplay video during the VGX awards last weekend. Unfortunately like the VGX awards I was a little let down in the terms of gameplay shown for The Division. Just like the lack of entertainment or anything truly representing our subculture there was nothing in regards of gameplay and just a showcasing of the Snowdrop engine. I guess it is a good thing that is something I am into even though I would have rather seen some new gameplay for The Division. But I'll take what I can get.

I know before I spoke on some of the cool things of the Unreal Engine but it looks like the Snowdrop adds in some things not shown by UE4 or not available. For instance, the procedural destruction and how fine-tuned it can be. I can see ways it can be done in other engines, but it just isn't all that easy for developers to do while the Snowdrop engine kind of has a look that it will be almost native in the engine. I am so stoked for that.

In the end I wouldn't say there was much 'gameplay' shown, and I'll blame that on the hosts over Ubisoft, but the showcasing of the engine for The Division was a saving grace. Now can we get some more real gameplay to pine over? Please?
