Here's My Take On It Moving into E3 Mirror's Edge Catalyst was another one of those titles that received the announcement treatment just before the expo proper and I wasn't expecting to see much more than a few gameplay demos and factoids abound. During the EA press event though it was let loose that those at E3 would be able to actually play Mirror's Edge Catalyst on the floor alongside the February 23rd, 2016 release date on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here's My Take On It One of the games that helped start E3 off with a bang, at least for me, was Mad Max from Avalanche Studios. It was revealed back in 2013 before the new film was even a sparkle in our eyes by Avalanche Studios and it captured my attentions back then so I was overly excited to get to see how Mad Max has progressed over the years of development. It launches on September 1st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so hopefully it has made it to a state where we can remove the idea it is a Mad Max film tie-in title. One of the big titles out of the BE3 press event was Fallout 4. Here's what I think about Fallout 4 and what was shown for the franchise Bethesda's first game conference was a huge success. I was enthralled from start to finish. All the games Bethesda showed off looked amazing and I can't wait to play them. Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Bethesda Softworks Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below It is that time. Time to kick off E3 with the first official press conference of the event for Bethesda Softworks and their game studios. They have already let the cat out of the bag on a few items to see like Fallout 4, DOOM, and the recently slipped Dishonored 2. That last one doesn't feel like it was something we weren't going to be seeing anytime soon from Bethesda but it apparently slipped out during rehearsals from this press conference. Two of Overwatch's armored badasses are shown off this week with a lot more Overwatch gameplay in the mix as well Being that it is the calm before the storm of E3 I guess it is nice that we have two more characters to look at for Overwatch here. Not only that but I think Blizzard planned well as it is both of the tank looking characters for the game as most of us are going to need to be as beefy as Pharah and Reinhardt look in Overwatch while traversing the show floor for E3. All joking aside there though let us get back to the fact that we have loads more gameplay here to look at and pick through for Overwatch. While it is all "alpha" gameplay I have a feeling that we are going to be getting that beta for the game here in short order after all of the characters are shown off in their glory. Read More...

We have the new SOMA E3 trailer here to show us a bit more about the concept of the game as well as the release date for SOMA We are well into the E3 trailer season right now and next up happens to be a game I have been keeping a close eye on: SOMA. I've mentioned it many times before but for you newbies here this is the net sci-fi horror game from Frictional Games. It looked like another BioShock style game when first announced but SOMA has evolved, or at least the trailers have evolved, to show us something unique and not another plain knock off. A new look at Batman: Arkham Knight's Red Hood DLC has been released and it shows a bit more why Batman: Arkham Knight is rated M for Mature now If you are looking to squeeze all the story you can out of Batman: Arkham Knight then you might want to look into pre-ordering the game to make sure you have most of it from day one.
