Mafia 3 The pre-order bonuses for Mafia 3 have finally been fully fleshed out this is just what we will be getting for Mafia 3 if we pre-order or by the CE Maybe you remember or maybe you don't but back when Mafia 3's collector's editions was announced we also caught word on the fact that there would be a pre-order bonus. At the time though 2K Games had yet to define out what would be coming in the "Family Kick-Back" DLC and Hangar 13 was just as quiet about that too. Now we know what we will be getting for Mafia 3 if we shell out for the game on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC before October 7th no matter the bundle you are looking for. Read More...

Spider-Man During E3 it was revealed that Spider-Man was getting yet another title in the mix but this won't be a Spider-Man game tied into anything but the general lore Another one of the huge surprises out of E3 was the announcement of a new Spider-Man game coming into the mix. Maybe not a huge surprise given the agreement between Sony and Marvel for the IP but the bigger one would be that Insomniac Games is doing the building and that it will not be linked into the new film at all. In fact, this Spider-Man title will be a completely standalone title and unsurprisingly available for the PS4 sometime in the future. How long into the future is of course a good question as this is still a working title for the game but it would make sense to use the synergy of the new film; so maybe July of 2017… Of course as this is just an announcement and a tease for the new Spider-Man title, information for the game is still sparse. The Walking Dead The first teaser trailer for The Walking Dead's third season has been revealed and it looks like The Walking Dead is jumping forward in time but keeping fan favorites If you were able to pay full attention to everything out of E3 then this may be old news to you but for those who were overloaded with news, then you may have missed that The Walking Dead season three is slated to start up sometime this Fall. Not only that but we have a nice little trailer out of Telltale Games and a few little tidbits on the game directly. Given the success of The Walking Dead in general it shouldn't have been that big of a shocker to see the third season coming but in this season it looks like the surprises are more in the game than that it is coming. Styx While at E3 I was able to see Styx: Shards Of Darkness in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Styx: Shards Of Darkness One of the other smaller titles on the floor at E3 that I was excited for was Styx: Shards Of Darkness. This would be the sequel to one of the smaller cult classic titles that Cyanide Studios gave us back in 2014. It is a fun little stealth action title that builds off the story of Styx: Master Of Shadows and from the looks of things builds off the expanded power of the Unreal Engine that they just didn't have before. Thankfully we don't have much longer to wait as the game is still slated to launch later this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Vampyr While at E3 I was able to see Vampyr in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Vampyr In a nice dark room on the E3 floor we were able to spy upon Vampyr in action. For those who still haven't followed along, this is the new title from Dontnod that places us in the middle of the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918 in the role of a doctor who has recently been turned into a vampire. We've had a lot of news on Vampyr so far so hopefully you are up to date but if not then here are our first impressions of the game in action before all of the rest of the information from Focus Home Interactive drops between now and when it launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next year. LEGO Dimensions While at E3 I was able to see LEGO Dimensions in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on LEGO Dimensions When I first stepped into the very cushiony area to check out what was coming to LEGO Dimensions I was half expecting it to be something akin to all of the other toys-to-life genre titles in the way of a new disc and new toys to purchase. Mafia 3 While at E3 I was able to see Mafia 3 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Mafia 3 Here we go with one of the larger titles that 2K Games was pimping out at E3 and now we have a solid look at Mafia 3 in terms of world and gameplay. Gameplay that was shown off by none other than the devs over at Hangar 13 in the mix of a time jump back to the era that the game takes place in. Of course there is a whole lot more to go into for Mafia 3, as with all of the other games out there, but this is the best look we have until October 7th when it finally lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Horizon While at E3 I was able to see Horizon Zero Dawn in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Horizon Zero Dawn. A good portion of what Sony has on the floor here at E3 happens to be just what we saw during the press conference and the same pretty much goes for Horizon Zero Dawn. We have another live demo put on from Guerrilla Games just for us but the only difference is that afterward we we allowed to actually put hands on with the game still waiting to launch on February 28th of 2017 on on the PS4. Of course it wasn’t of any new portion of Horizon Zero Dawn we have yet to see but that doesn’t change the fact that we got to actually play the game. Read More...

Gwent While at E3 I was able to see Gwent: The Witcher Card Game in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. We all demanded it and not we are getting Gwent: The Witcher Card Game as a standalone title to play and experience outside of the core game that spawned it. Of course CD Projekt RED could have taken the easy way out and just ported the basic game over to appease the fans but instead they went all out and brought a fully redesigned version of the game for us. The core mechanics are still there but this version of Gwent has a lot more to offer than just fun times and collecting cards. Read More...

Batman While at E3 I was able to see Batman: The Telltale Series in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Batman: The Telltale Series. A few reveals for Batman have already popped up here at E3 this year but of course that isn’t where the reveals were going to end. In fact in the middle of Wayne Manor here on the floor Telltale Games had a secret access to the Bat Cave and allowed some of us to see the first 30 minutes of the first episode of their take on the Batman franchise. That sounds like quite a bit to take in but thankfully it was just enough to keep the hype ball rolling as we wait for the episode to finally land sometime this Summer for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Straight From E3 2016 Not everything is going to be on the show floor of E3 2016 and because of that we have these huge press conferences and here we go with PC Gaming's huge event just before the doors open for us all. Just as the games and announcements they have for E3 2016 not all of us will be able to be there on the show floor to see them as well. Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a rough week, personally, but at least we had a whole lot of video games to keep everything flowing. We had a few confirmations like Watch Dogs 2 and Injustice 2 coming for E3 next week and we also had some great updates to other titles like XCOM 2 and Call Of Cthulu. This is also just the tip of the ice berg that will be the reveals and updates for video games though as we will be flushed with many more here in short order.
