Review — Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of December 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Ancestors We sit down and review Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. A survival game that aims to take us through the creation of humans. Here is our review of Ancestors It seems more and more that video games are used in more ways than just entertainment and here we go with another that aims to educate in a way with Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. Well, not really educate in the normal means when we get those kinds of video games, but in a way where Panache Digital Games takes us on the long journey to where we all are today. That is at the core of things for Ancestors, as well as a survival game that pits us against a prehistoric world. Read More...

February Will Be The Month When You Will Get To See All Of Your Dreams
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of December 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Dreams The release date for Dreams has been officially set, as Dreams will be exiting its Early Access in February of 2020 For a good chunk of the year, Dreams has been out there on the PS4 in an Early Access form for players to help shape the game and also have the experience that is coming with it. It has been a weird thing going since as it was one of the first major versions of a paid Early Access on the platform but it seems to have worked out well. I say this as we now have word that the Dreams is leaving its early access and Media Molecule will be giving us all the experience in a full form this February. Read More...

Babylon’s Fall Has Some New Gameplay Out There From The State Of Play
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of December 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Babylon’s Fall New gameplay for Babylon’s Fall is here to give us all a feel for what we can expect from Babylon’s Fall before next year Talk about another surprise during the State Of Play here as we now have a bit more gameplay out there for Babylon’s Fall. This would be that title that was announced back in 2018 during the Square Enix presentation that Platinum Games is working on and now shown off again for the PS4 and PC today. With another longer wait set as more for Babylon’s Fall will not be given out until the Summer of 2020. This, of course, makes one wonder why we even had anything now, but we will all take what we can when it comes to a bunch of knights fighting each other with “spectral swords. Read More...

Rumors Are Swarming That A Sequel To A Plague Tale Is Coming
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of December 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale There are reports out there that A Plague Tale is getting a sequel with A Plague Tale2 aiming for a 2022 release window It looks like new rumors are circling out there that a sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence is in the works for us all. Quite a bit of an interesting thing to hear indeed given how well Asobo Studio did with this little title and all of the praise it has garnered. Maybe not when you put it all that way, but those who have played A Plague Tale: Innocence may be questioning if and how one would be coming about. It really was great as an isolated thing, but I know I for one would be interested in seeing and hearing of a new one. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It was a short week but still one filled with all manner of video games out there for us all to enjoy. Also, we had a whole lot of screenshots for Final Fantasy VII Remake in the mix of all of the other video games we had updates for. Read More...

Will You Be Able To Survive Afterdark In Last Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of November 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Last Year The next chapter of Last Year is on its way with a touching story behind everything that has happened with the team behind Last Year About this time in 2018, we all had a chance to have a look at Last Year as it dropped on the up and coming storefront over on Discord. Well, at least, we had a short chance to as we and Elastic Games watched as their project fell into the wastes as the storefront went away. It was a sad time and many that fell in love with Last Year were left in the lurch wanting to see the game make a comeback. Before now, there was no real word on it all, but we can now see that we will be able to play the next chapter of the story over on Steam as well as pick up the original there again if you were left wanting from the Discord fallout. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is one more week of video games in the bag and it is nice to be over for now. Even if there was only a slight tease with a new Half-Life here and then the rest of the fun that has rolled out there. You know, other little things like all of the Switch announcements for Alien Isolation, Trover Saves The Universe, and Samurai Shodown that we had to take in. All of the video games are flowing out there and thankfully more VR ones too. Read More...
