Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week felt like such a catchup week for all things video games but I totally blame E3 for all of that. There was so much going on out there and it was rough making sure we were able to cover as much of it as we can. Especially with all of the big titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy VII Remake having a huge showing this year. Psychonauts While at E3, I was able to see Psychonauts 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Psychonauts 2. Another game out at E3 that has had an interesting journey has to have been Psychonauts 2. Originally going for crowdfunding, then funded by another source, and now Double Fine has been brought into the Microsoft Studios family. None of which is all that important as there was little worry this game was going to be made after the initial funding goal was reached. Why we are here, though, is that the hard marketing push is out there and Psychonauts 2 was out at E3 this year to give us all a better look at just what we can expect and how the game may have changed from what we knew before. Moons Of Madness While at E3, I was able to see Moons Of Madness in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Moons Of Madness. We are definitely in an era where the cosmic horror game and story is all the rage and we have another to add to the list out of E3 with Moons Of Madness. Sure, Rock Pocket Games did not announce the game during the event, that took place a lot earlier, but they were out there with Funcom to show off where the game was at as we get ever so closer to the October 31st release date for the game. Destroy All Humans While at E3, I was able to see Destroy All Humans! in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Destroy All Humans! One of the titles that was a slight surprise and one of the most requested out at E3 had to be the remake for Destroy All Humans!. Things were rumored out there way back when THQ Nordic picked up the IP and then we had an early announcement from Black Forest Games that they were remaking this game. I saw a whole lot of gamers get excited that Destroy All Humans! was coming back but still a bit hesitant that it would be a remaster and not a solid remake. Read More...

Wolfenstein A bit more for Wolfenstein: Youngblood is here fresh from E3 to show off more of this Wolfenstein and the “Terror Twins” of the game It is time to have even more explosions and action for Wolfenstein: Youngblood as we had a whole lot of new footage come out of E3 this year. Some of it during the big event that Bethesda put on and some of it out of the small showing Machine Games had for it on the show floor. No matter where you are with your updates for Wolfenstein: Youngblood, we have you covered here as we have the latest to show off for the game just before launch on July 26th on the PC, Switch, Xbox One, and PS4. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was sure one crazy whirlwind of a week in the world of video games. Then again, that is usually how it goes with E3 and the other big events like it. We were lucky to be on the floor for it all and had a chance to check out so many titles like Marvel’s Avengers and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Those being the ones we had a chance to get to during the event, but there was also more for other video games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Bloodlines 2 for us all to get to. Ghost Hunt At E3 it was announced that Midnight Ghost Hunt is coming to let us play out the horrors of a Ghost Hunt or hunting ghosts There were so many things announced at E3 this year and the PC Gaming event had so many including the new little gem of Midnight Ghost Hunt. A new title that places four ghost hunters against four ghosts in a new and interesting game of hide-and-seek. At least at the basics of what Vaulted Sky Games is working on here for the game. It is much more than that and we have our first taste of the game fresh from the big event. Read More...

Planet Zoo The release date for Planet Zoo is now set in November and it looks like we can pre-order to get a few extra animals to play with in Planet Zoo If you thought we were going to have to wait a long time until we had a chance to play Planet Zoo, you would be wrong. I was wrong too as it looks like we have a release date for when the game hit Steam on PC and it is November 5th. Not that bad of a turnaround for Frontier Developments as it seems not to long ago we were playing one of their other titles. This is not something I will scoff at, but enjoy as I am excited to see just how much detail in the animals Planet Zoo will have. Read More...

The Surge A new cinematic trailer for The Surge 2 is here to give us one more feel for how The Surge 2 may play out The hype train is still rolling for The Surge 2 as we have another cinematic trailer to look at fresh out of E3. Sadly, you read that correctly as I did say cinematic and not actual gameplay. Something that feels like a misstep on Deck 13's side of things as this would be one of the times to try and highlight actual gameplay. Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here and brings in a dog to help with the fight to bring down everyone in Samurai Shodown Not to be left out of the E3 fun, we have a new character for Samurai Shodown to take in and see just before launch. We are only a few weeks out from getting to play it on the Switch, PS4, or Xbox One and we still are fleshing out the roster. I do not even think we have moved into the DLC realm that SNK is working on for Samurai Shodown that will be free for those who pick the game up within the launch window. Star Wars While at E3, I was able to see Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. If you were watching all of the streams out of E3, you may have seen the new gameplay for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order that EA brought to the world. It was some of the first and not the full bit that was on display out here at the event. We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Straight From E3 2019 Not everything is going to be on the show floor of E3 2019 and because of that we have these huge press conferences and here we go with PC Gaming's huge event just before the doors open for us all. Just as the games and announcements they have for E3 2019 not all of us will be able to be there on the show floor to see them as well. GreedFall A new story trailer for GreedFall is here just before E3 that takes us further into the world of GreedFall and the various antagonists we will have It looks like we have another game that could not wait until E3 to blow its load with all kind of updates and this one is GreedFall. You know, that little game that Spiders has been working on for a while now that will give us yet another fun RPG adventure. I am sure you do. Samurai Shodown The next fighter for Samurai Shodown is announced here, as Tam Tam will be back in the mix for this Samurai Shodown in a few weeks The fighters keep rolling out for Samurai Shodown, as we now have word that Tam Tam will be back in the fight and bringing the same style of fighting back to the franchise. Not a huge shocker as Tam Tam has been in so many titles over the franchise's run, but we can rest assured that he will be here on SNK's current outing.
