More reviews and more news for all kinds of video games to come. I truly love that we were able to bookend this week with Until Dawn and had quite a few other zombie type announcements with Zombi and Advanced Warfare DLC. Looks like the cat is out of the bag as Mafia 3 has been confirmed to be in the works and out first look at Mafia 3 will be during Gamescom It's been five years in the making and now we have it confirmed that Mafia 3 is on its way to us. It's hard to believe it has been that long since Mafia II came out and won over so many critics including us but it has. Now the franchise has a new developer, Hangar 13, and we are getting to go back into the world of Mafia with Mafia 3. From the moment my character woke up in the world of Mafia II, I was swimming in rich ambiance. 2K Czech did everything to put you directly into the life of Vito Scaletta. Waking up in your boxers and 'wife-beater' shirt, your buddy Joe is calling you with your next 'job'. This gives you an immediate sense of who you are that really draws you into this character. At E3 2009, when 2K Games made their announcement about making a sequel for Mafia, I was excited on the idea. That excitement grew after playing the demo for the first time at PAX East in Boston. Mafia originally came out on PC in 2002, then later on the orginial XBox, and then PlayStation 2 in 2004. Several years later 2K is releasing the second installment of the Mafia series with Mafia 2.
