by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of January 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
Dispatch The Switch launch for Dispatch is finally here, and you can play Dispatch on any version of the console today It took a bit of time, but those looking to experience the story and fun of Dispatch on the Switch and Switch 2, well, today is the day for you. The game has fully launched out there with AdHoc Studio bringing the full game drop on the two consoles. Something that I am sure those playing Dispatch on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC were hoping would have happened instead of the episodic releases, but it is what it is. I will never understand it, and I hope we get away from that release cycle, but that is not why we are here today with this game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of January 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Atomic Heart The final DLC for Atomic Heart is on the way, and it looks as if there is a new calamity in the world of Atomic Heart There was a bit of talk that since the sequel to Atomic Heart was announced, there might not be the final DLC planned to drop out there. That was mostly from those who are always trying to grab attention and start drama, but the rest of us knew that Mundfish would not leave us all hanging. The Far Cry Classics Are Getting More Frames Updated Into Them
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of January 2026 - 06:00 PM ]
Far Cry Three of the Far Cry Classic titles have a new update that will bring more of the Far Cry family into the 60 fps world It feels like it has been some time since we had a solid full entry into the Far Cry IP, and that wait seems to be growing without another new main title on the way as of yet. Given the cycle of things over at Ubisoft, that feels a little off, but it is what it is. Especially since it feels like they have been diving more into the nostalgia of the past with a few of their games after some of the other recent things that have gone down. Read More...

Project: Doors Welcomes Us All The Labyrinth To Explore
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of January 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
Doors See what is hiding behind the various Doors out there, as we check into the announcement for Project: Doors Every door that we open might just have a surprise behind it, well, at least that is the idea in the recently announced Project: Doors. A new co-op title from Teletower Studios and Polden Publishing that will put some emphasis on that when the game fully hits the PC. Especially as it looks like one of the big twists to the game will be that the various doors we open will take us to different worlds, and offer up slightly different experiences for us to partake in. Like a mixture of multiverse hopping mixed with the strangeness of the Backrooms style of things out there. Read More...

Then we had a whole lot of smaller titles in the mix with Styx: Blades Of Greed, all to wrap with a good look at the upcoming film The Mortuary Assistant. Even if it was a shorter one around here, but that is on us and not the various video games out there that had something to add. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/15/25 — 12/19/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 20th of December 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we were expecting, this was certainly a full week of video games. Some of it is catching up from all of the big announcements we did have, while also offering up some other games that were left out of The Game Awards, as they would not drive money to the show. Titles like Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival and Painkiller, even if others like Divinity and WARLOCK hit on the harsher themes and mature content in the same ways. It is kind of why you still need some of the mavericks like us out there covering the various video games that are not going to be big news for the "mainstream. Read More...
