Spider-Man A new prequel novel for the upcoming Spider-Man game has been announced that should give those who read it a bit more insight on where Spider-Man and the world will be starting There is more going on in Spider-Man than many may have thought before as the game takes place well into Peter's career as the web-slinger. This we have heard ad nauseam since we first saw the game was coming from Insomniac Games. Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man is here and it shows us a little more on how the combat system in Spider-Man will play out and work It is time to blow some of those preconceived notions on how the combat in Spider-Man is actually going to play out and handle. Way back when the game was first announced and shown off, it looks like a very tried and true method to combat was something that Insomniac Games was going to use. More or less, it looks a lot like the way it all worked in the Arkham titles, which all were really solid gameplay mechanics. While it may have looked that way, we are here to tell you that it is not going to be that way exactly for Spider-Man as he is obviously a different kind of fighter and uses many other things to his benefit in a fight. Spider-Man A new interview for the upcoming Spider-Man title is out there and we get some further insight on just how Spider-Man’s web swinging will flow If for some reason you were worried about how the web swinging was going to work in Spider-Man or if it was going to be some weird thing that the team did not focus on, then you can place some of those concerns aside. I do not know who you would be out there as almost everyone has had strong faith in Insomniac Games doing right by the fans with the game; I just know you were out there. Spider-Man A new Spider-Man trailer is here from Paris Games Week and this one shows us who Spider-Man actually is as well as some of the supporting cast After much waiting and guessing, we finally know who this Spider-Man is going to be in the new game coming from Insomniac Games. Not only that, but we also have a new trailer for the game out of Paris Games Week all to show us that it will be another Peter Parker story but it will host a plethora of supporting cast as well as other playable characters. All of this because, and I agree, the best Spider-Man stories do come from events that cause both the hero and secret identity to cross over and this is just what this PS4 game is looking to do. Spider-Man A new behind the scenes video for the next Spider-Man game has been released and it shows us more of the kind of Spider-Man we will get to play Another huge title that we are all anxiously waiting for is Spider-Man and after a great showing at E3 this year, it looks like there was a little more to be handed out but saved for D23. That is at least that Insomniac Games was able to show the world a bit more of the behind the scenes look of the game during that event and also dive into a little more of the story on where we are in the game. Spider-Man While at E3 I was able to see Spider-Man in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Spider-Man. This was one of the bigger titles that had everyone on the E3 showfloor clamouring for more and that is about what we had for Spider-Man out here this year. It of course all kicked off with the new gameplay trailer for the game that Insomniac Games put together for the big PlayStation showcase, but then was followed up with another showing on the show floor in one of the PS4 showrooms. It wasn't any different part of Spider-Man, but it was a live demo of the same portion of the game where a few different things were shown off and explained a bit more than in the trailer we all have most likely seen a few times over already. Just like the Days Gone demo, I've added in the original gameplay trailer for Spider-Man that was shown and then will dive into the differences that were shown and explained behind the closed doors of the showroom. Ratchet & Clank Ratchet & Clank has recently hit the small screens of home with new content. We had a chance to sit down and break the film down piece by piece. Here is our review of Ratchet & Clank Maybe you remember back when Ratchet & Clank first came out and that there was a feature film that was slated to launch with it. It did launch in theaters shortly after the video game's launch and Insomniac Games had its IP all over the place for a short time. Spider-Man During E3 it was revealed that Spider-Man was getting yet another title in the mix but this won't be a Spider-Man game tied into anything but the general lore Another one of the huge surprises out of E3 was the announcement of a new Spider-Man game coming into the mix. Maybe not a huge surprise given the agreement between Sony and Marvel for the IP but the bigger one would be that Insomniac Games is doing the building and that it will not be linked into the new film at all. In fact, this Spider-Man title will be a completely standalone title and unsurprisingly available for the PS4 sometime in the future. How long into the future is of course a good question as this is still a working title for the game but it would make sense to use the synergy of the new film; so maybe July of 2017… Of course as this is just an announcement and a tease for the new Spider-Man title, information for the game is still sparse. Feral Rites Insomniac is working on two more VR experiences, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, for the Oculus and both Feral Rites & The Unspoken looks to bring us something completely new Fresh off their most recent amazing release it looks like Insomniac Games has two more games/experiences for us later this year in terms of Feral Rites and The Unspoken. Both of which will be titles for the Oculus technologies and feature very different forms of gameplay and experiences. The latest addition to the franchise that Insomniac Games started fourteen years ago has taken yet another attempt and capturing our hearts and attentions with another platforming-shooter. All in time to try and sync up with the announced Ratchet & Clank film that is only a few weeks out from the time of this writing to try and rebuild a new look at the franchise for all of those gamers out there who may have missed out the first few times before and want to see what the fuss is all about. Song Of The Deep Another title from Insomniac has been announced called Song Of The Deep and we have the first trailer for Song Of The Deep as well as how this game will be played out It looks like Insomniac Games has been working on more than we thought over since their last major release as now we have another title from them on the way in form of Song Of The Deep. This is a brand new IP for them in the gameplay style of "Metroidvania" that takes place in an underwater setting where we follow the tale of Merryn who is trying to find her father who is lost in the depths of the sea. Not a horrible kind of setting for Song Of The Deep although I will say the tease and name did lead me to think we were going to see a horror game but first impressions are not always correct.
