We had a whole load of new rumors fly out there and some huge announcements. Could we be getting Red Dead Redemption 2 and a BioShock Collection or is that just wishful thinking? How about the price announcement for the PlayStation VR that came out and then was followed up by a bundle that still greatly undercuts the competition in terms of price. DOOM A new video for DOOM has been released and this one shows off nine of the maps that will be included in DOOM's multiplayer during the beta & at launch The multiplayer beta for DOOM is only a few weeks out now and we haven't yet been able to see the maps that we will be killing each other on. This could be a good ploy by Bethesda to keep us all on our toes or it could be that id Software is still wrapping up a build just for the beta and they aren't done yet. Looks like whatever the case was before it is no longer the case as now we have a nice quick look at the nine maps coming to DOOM and that will be available to play when the beta goes live on March 31st for everyone lucky enough to be in on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Walking Dead A release date for The Walking Dead: Michonne's second episode has been set and we get a nice look at all the choices made in The Walking Dead: Michonne so far & how they played out Last we saw as The Walking Dead: Michonne's first episode was released after a lot of anticipation. For the most part my gripes about it were on the nitpick side of things and the big issue I had was that I had to wait to play episode two. Thankfully it looks like Telltale Games is keeping to their loose release schedule and we are now going to see the continued adventures of The Walking Dead here by the end of the month. Read More...

Thief The rights to do a Thief movie have been claimed and it looks like we are on the path to actually see Thief on the silver screen Rumors and murmured words have been flying around lately that we are going to be getting a Thief movie. That would be a film based on the video game franchise that Eidos-Montréal has crafted and not another movie about random people stealing things for fun. Well I guess a Thief movie would fall into that vein of thinking but that isn't the goal here. It is all about bringing the moderately received reboot to the franchise to the silver screen and now we have confirmation from Square Enix that someone wants to do it. Read More...

DOOM The dates for DOOM's multiplayer closed beta have been confirmed and it looks like fans of DOOM will be slaying each other in Hell very soon Looks like we all will be entering the brutal world of DOOM here soon as the multiplayer beta is only a few weeks out now. We are talking like a few weeks as it is currently slated to run from March 31st to April 3rd. At least if you picked up id Software's earlier title Wolfenstein: The New Order as it looks like Bethesda isn't fully ready to open the floodgates for DOOM's multiplayer to the world just yet. At least they are trying to work out some of the bugs earlier on than the week before unlike some other recent titles… As with all of these kinds of things this isn't going to be the full multiplayer mode coming to DOOM when it launches on May 13th. Everything A new title, Everything, has been announced with the key feature of allowing players to play as everything in the game to let us have a better view from other perspectives Just when you thought that having multiple characters in a video game was getting out of hand we get introduced to Everything. That would be the game title of the next title that David OReilly and team are working on. Dead Island The rumors were true as Dead Island Definitive Collection has been announced and will be bringing the original Dead Island titles to the current gen systems Here we go with another rumor that proved to be true as the Dead Island Definitive Collection has been announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Rumors of this bundle started to pop up a while ago but then there was no word from Deep Silver on any validity to it all. Now we are seeing Techland's two great installments into the zombie world, before their current magnum opus, coming out yet again with new textures and upgraded to their new game engine. Umbrella Corps A new gameplay mode for Umbrella Corps has been shown off and it adds a bit of extra randomness to the Umbrella Corps mix Another new mode for Umbrella Corps has been unveiled and from the sounds of it this could be seen as multiple new modes. In fact it is called the 'Multi Mission' mode and it is the second major mode that Capcom has unveiled for us all for the game. Only more to come before Umbrella Corps launches in May for the PS4 and PC. But let us focus on this new mode that now joins the 'One Life Mode' already announced. Read More...

Friday The 13th More Friday The 13th: The Game behind the scenes video has been released and now we see how that Friday The 13th slasher is being brought to life in the game We've seen the many different faces of Jason coming to Friday The 13th: The Game and there happens to be new ones in the works as you are reading this. We've also been able to see some of the extra behind the scenes work that Gun Media is putting into the game to make sure that Jason is brought to life and feels as authentic as possible. Call Of Cthulhu New information has popped up for Call Of Cthulhu the video game as it gets a new developer and the first screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu the video game Almost two years ago we first caught wind of a Call Of Cthulhu video game being in the works. Originally it was helmed by Frogwares but then there was no word at all on the game's progression. Here we are in 2016 and it looks like Cyanide Studios has now been tapped to take this game further by Focus Home Interactive and now we have our first real update for Call Of Cthulhu the video game. Looks like this IP hasn't been lost the ravages of a lost mind just yet… Of course as this is still a very early announcement of the new developer taking the reins of Call Of Cthulhu there isn't much to go on but there is a little bit besides the basics. Resident Evil It has been announced that Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 are getting the remaster treatment and will now bring almost all of the Resident Evil titles to the current gen systems If for some reason you didn't think you were going to be getting enough Resident Evil in 2016 then you are going to be greatly mistaken. In addition to the film and spin-off title that Capcom has in the works for us it also looks like Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 are all getting the remaster treatment for the PS4 and Xbox One and all three of them will be out on said systems before the end of the year.
