Listen To The Golden Horror Of Until Dawn's Soundtrack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Until Dawn has officially gone gold and to celebrate we get to hear a bunch of the score used to make Until Dawn the horror fest we've been dying for You know it's been a good week when you can bookend it with great horror news like we have with Until Dawn here. We still have just under a month to wait, August 25th, before we get to experience Supermassive Games' latest title on the PS4 and from what I've seen and heard so far we shouldn't be let down. It looks like most of it is going to be solid and Until Dawn has finally hit gold status in the development cycle so now the waiting game takes place. I wish I had some other amazing horror title to play in the interim but for now we'll just have to go with the Until Dawn gameplay footage that is all of the net for now. Read More...

Get Siked As There Is Even More Until Dawn Gameplay To Look At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Until Dawn has been released from a preview build of the game and it is full of all the jump scares you could want in Until Dawn At the rate that we are getting new videos for Until Dawn we may not have much of a game left to play when it hits the PS4 on August 25th. At least that is how I am taking it from all of the stuff I've seen. That means I am also hoping that Supermassive Games has kept all the really juicy and bloody bits of this horror game under wraps until we are able to push past that date. Hopefully it makes sense but then again there are a lot of films and shows spoiled by all of the promo videos and teasers today thanks to the internet and cyber-sleuths out there. Read More...

More Until Dawn Screenshots To Tide Our Teenage Bloodlust
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A few more screenshots for Until Dawn have been released for all of the news outlets not lucky enough to play the alpha build of Until Dawn It looks like preview builds for Until Dawn have been making the rounds to all of the outlets that sell their services so they can help promote a game that isn't getting much backing from the publisher as it would seem. This of course means that the rest of us get some nice new screenshots for Until Dawn fresh from what Supermassive Games wants to share with us so as not to spoil anything. That would be a great letdown for Until Dawn if we spoiled all of the great PS4 horror fun before it launched on August 25th wouldn't it? Read More...

Fans Won't Let P.T. Die As We Have Allison Road As A Successor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It looks like we have another contender for scariest horror title as Allison Road is in the works to take up the mantle that P.T. was forced to drop I'll be the first to admit that the loss of P.T. and Silent Hills was a kick to the nuts with spiked, steel-toed boot. Thankfully we have a lot of other passionate people out there working on solutions to that pain and we have another one in the way of Allison Road. It is another attempt to drive fear into our hearts while wandering around what we should all assume to be a safe place; our own home. Well the personal home of the unnamed protagonist we are controlling in Allison Road at least which of course has not only that in common with the aforementioned P. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Until Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Until Dawn In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Not too long ago we were treated to the news that Until Dawn would be launching the on the PS4 on August 25th. Not too long from now even though it misses the mark of the best month for horror titles. None the less it is and Supermassive Games was on the scene at E3 to show off more for Until Dawn and it wasn't just a new character actor or short clip. In fact it was a whole new section for Until Dawn that takes place around chapter six of the game. Read More...

New SOMA Trailer Shows Us What Sucks About Dying
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We have the new SOMA E3 trailer here to show us a bit more about the concept of the game as well as the release date for SOMA We are well into the E3 trailer season right now and next up happens to be a game I have been keeping a close eye on: SOMA. I've mentioned it many times before but for you newbies here this is the net sci-fi horror game from Frictional Games. It looked like another BioShock style game when first announced but SOMA has evolved, or at least the trailers have evolved, to show us something unique and not another plain knock off. As I said you can have a look at the trailer below to see what I am talking about but do make sure to stay all the way to the end of the weirdness as we also get the SOMA release date for PS4 and PC/Steam. SOMA Has Some New Gameplay & A Release Date Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We have the first real gameplay trailer for SOMA and it shows off all of the creepiness that we've been waiting to fully see for SOMA Surprisingly it has been over a year since last we saw anything solid in terms of gameplay for SOMA. Back then I was captivated with what Frictional Games was working on to creep us all out or make us question "what the hells is going?" Then nothing. Or at least very little so SOMA kind of fell into the back of my brain as we all needed to move on. Read More...

Have A Look At Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp's Camp Forest Green
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New screenshots for Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp show off the horrors that wait in the Camp Forest Green arena of Summer Camp You may not remember hearing about Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp earlier in the year but it we had some fun news about the game. Now we flash forward a bit and we have even more about Summer Camp from Gun Media and it looks like it is shaping up rather well. At least based off all of the new screenshots and details that have been released out into the wild for us all to hunt down and hack up with…say…a machete. You know…? Read More...

Until Dawn Is Coming A Lot Sooner Than Most Of Us Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We have a new Until Dawn trailer as well as the official release date for Until Dawn and it is a lot sooner than we thought it would be As stated on the PlayStation Blog, it has been a while since we had anything new to look and or known from Until Dawn. You know, the B-movie horror game in the works from Supermassive Games where we get to decide the fates of eight teenagers out for a good time in a cabin in the woods. Such a tried and true trope to use but for Until Dawn it has looked spectacular and looks like it is getting better and better which is good since it will be hitting the PS4 on August 25th this year. Oops…did I just let the release date slip? Read More...

The Executioner Is Here To Kill Your Demons In The Evil Within
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of May 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for The Executioner DLC for The Evil Within has been released and we are getting a first person mode All things must come to an end and in this case it is the expanding world of The Evil Within. At least as this part of the franchise goes. The last bit of DLC, The Executioner, is coming on May 26th from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks and will let you play as none other than The Keeper. This would be the creature better known as Boxman by the internet and fans of The Evil Within. I guess that is one way to go out with a bang here but let's hope it is enough to drive the publishers to want The Evil Within 2 or some other spin off to make a true franchise. Read More...

Night Terrors Could Become Your Reality… In Your Own Home
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new Augmented Reality Game, Night Terrors, is trying to raise funds to try and bring real but fake terror into our homes Earlier this week we had the devastation that Silent Hills was canceled so let's get back on a horror highlight with Night Terrors. This would be an augmented reality game that is looking to hit the levels of terror that the prior title mentioned was claiming as well. The big kicker here is that Night Terrors won't be using virtual world interactions to bring the terror. Instead it is slated to get you up and moving about your own home where the ghosts and demons are actually lurking. Read More...

It's Been Confirmed That Silent Hills Is No More… Sad Nights…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Konami has confirmed that Silent Hills is no longer in the works and will be pulling P.T. from the PS4 on April 29th It is never a good day when you have to start with the somber news that Silent Hills has been canned. Not only has Konami confirmed that the game is no longer in production but it is also pulling P.T. from the PlayStation Store on April 29th to kind of further the nail into the coffin for such an amazing looking concept. Detective Kidman Has To Deal With The Consequence Of The Evil Within
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The second batch of story DLC for The Evil Within has been released and it continues the perils of Detective Kidman of the game It's been building up until today as The Evil Within finally gets its second bit of DLC: The Consequence. This would be the continuation of the story DLC for the game that Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have been bringing it to our systems at home. You know, part of that Season Pass we all paid for last year when The Evil Within first launched and we've been slowly getting more and more as we reach the anniversary of the original launch. If I had to place money on it I'd say we get the third part of the Story DLC for The Evil Within just before October this year. Read More...

The Evil Within's First DLC Now Has A Solid Release Date Assigned
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of February 2015 - 08:02 PM ]
The Assignment DLC for The Evil Within has been given a new trailer and an official release date for all of us wanting more horror in our lives We were teased last week with the release month for The Evil Within's first DLC pack from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda. Why we had a tease just over a week before the official announcement date and full trailer is beyond me. None the less it looks like that DLC for The Evil Within, titled The Assignment, is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Steam on March 10th. Not much of a shocker there but that is the official date for all of those Season Pass owners or pick and choose DLC downloaders. Read More...
