Street Fighter Two more fighters join the Street Fighter 6 roster with a new and old member filling in the world of Street Fighter The roster keeps expanding for Street Fighter 6 as we have another blast from the past coming back and a new fighter getting tossed into the mix. All of which looks to be how Capcom is going at it for this one as we wait for the 2023 launch of the title. Street Fighter Street Fighter 6 will be on display at SDCC this year along with various other titles from Capcom to enjoy It would not be an SDCC if Capcom was not out there and showing off all of their various wares or hyping up the next big Street Fighter title out there. Sometimes this is hyping up one that is already out there, but in the case of this year, we will be seeing a version of the upcoming title in the mix. Not only seeing it in the form of a developer's panel, but Street Fighter 6 will be playable on the show floor for those lucky enough to be able to attend SDCC next week. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is now over and we can finally put it all to rest here and enjoy some video games. Given the state of the world out there and all of the insanity going on, it is something that can be needed if it is possible for you. If the PSVR 2 was out there already it would be a nice escape from it all but we will just have to focus on Elden Ring and the demo for Babylon’s Fall to keep us all going. Street Fighter The Street Fighter IP carries on as we have the official announcement that Street Fighter 6 is in development Mark it down as not-too-surprising, as we have the official announcement that Street Fighter 6 is in development and poised to give us more fighting in the future. It would be weird if Capcom just abandoned this one out of nowhere so we should have figured it was coming. Street Fighter The final character for Street Fighter V is announced with Luke also being a fully new character to the Street Fighter IP too Things, as they always do, have to come to an end and that is what we have on the horizon for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition when it comes to the DLC fighters we have been enjoying for a while now. Street Fighter Another character for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is coming with Rose getting the showing and add to the Street Fighter V character pass Rose is coming back into the fight for the Street Fighter V: Champion Edition and we now get to see her back in said action. It is just another in the long list of characters that Capcom is bringing us in the title here with the character pass while we still wait for the final one to be shown off. Given that we are getting mostly characters from the Street Fighter titles in the past, I have a feeling that will be what some of us are waiting for, but for now, we will take a look at Rose and how things have been altered from what we might remember. Soulcalibur Another DLC character for Soulcalibur VI is announced with the next big update for Soulcalibur VI coming this week If you have been waiting for more fighters to come to Soulcalibur VI, then get ready for December 2nd to come our way, as we have a new unknown soul joining the fight. Well, unknown until you watch the trailer where Bandai Namco tells us that it is Hwang coming back after fighting in disguise here. Not the biggest of shocks, but it does round out the latest fighter pack for the game with the character joining back in for the Soulcalibur universe. Tekken The next character to join Tekken 7 is now set with Kunimitsu coming back to Tekken this Fall The characters keep coming out for Tekken 7 as we have Season 4 coming soon and with it brings another old character back into the fight. It has been a good bit since we heard anything out of Bandai Namco for this one and it looks like the wait might have been worth it. Soulcalibur The next DLC character for Soulcalibur VI is about to join in and we have a bit to look at for what he will bring to Soulcalibur VI The next DLC character for Soulcalibur VI is almost here, as Haohmaru is leaping into action on this title from the one he made his debut on. That other title being Samurai Shodown for those not well versed in it all. Bandai Namco was able to get the use of the character here and on March 31st he will be gracing the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of Soulcalibur VI to bring in a new brand of combat. Tekken The release of the next character in Tekken 7 is almost here with the next big thing for Tekken dropping on us all next week The wait is almost over for the next DLC character to finally hit Tekken 7 over on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We all knew that Fahkumram was on the way as Bandai Namco has been fairly open about showing him off in the game. Now we have the date on when he will be joining the roster of Tekken 7. Tekken The newest character for Tekken 7 has been given a showcase with Fahkumram being the next DLC fighter coming to Tekken 7 soon-ish Look no further for the next character that will be heading toward Tekken 7 here as we now have a visual to go along with it. Here we have Fahkumram that will be bringing his Muay Thai style into the fight via the Season Pass DLC that Bandai Namco is still rolling out. We are in the third season of it all and have four more characters getting added into Tekken 7 when all is said and done. Street Fighter A new version of Street Fighter V is announced with Street Fighter V: Champion Edition and a new DLC character on the way We might be heading back to the weird counting from Capcom again as we have word now that Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is on its way to us with all of the stuff we know and some new stuff for the PS4 and PC. Just as one would assume, it is another edition that will hold all of the characters, stages, and everything from the previous versions of Street Fighter V, but with some new DLC and extras mixed right in.
