Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a much busier week for video games than expected but we made it through, finally. There was the dip, as expected, for the American Thanksgiving holiday and now we are wrapping up the dumb Black Friday things that need to happen each year now. That does mean we can get some great deals on video games out there, even if we still have some time to wait for Marvel Rivals, Atomic Heart, and Secret Level to hit us with all of that fun well after all of these things. It is what it is, so we will focus back in on the titles and other elements more than the holidays or pseudo-holidays that are celebrated by humans for some reason… Next week does have the release of a few of those video games we had to talk about and we will have some of that on the site for you to enjoy. Atomic Heart The next DLC for Atomic Heart is on the way this Winter with Atomic Heart taking us a bit underwater We are going to get to dive into a new story soon for Atomic Heart with the announcement of the next DLC on the way. I was under the impression that Mundfish had moved on to their next project, but it turns out that they have been trudging away at something new for us in this world. Something new for Atomic Heart that will take us underwater when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this Winter. Marvel Rivals The next new map for Marvel Rivals is on display for us to further get ready for the symbiotes fighting in Marvel Rivals The fight will be heading to the Symbiote home planet of Klyntar in Marvel Rivals and now we have a small look at the map we will be fighting on out there. This is another of the teased maps that NetEase Games dropped out there before and now we get a fun little fly-through of the map. The Guardians Of The Galaxy have been sent out to clash with Venom and see if they can harness that power out there in Marvel Rivals, and this is the fight they are going to have to take up out there. New Arc Line The Early Access for New Arc Line is finally here and players looking for a new RPG can give New Arc Line a bit of a go Get ready to head back into the Gilded Age of magic and technology as the Early Access for New Arc Line has finally kicked off for the PC out there. This would be the upcoming RPG title that Dreamate and Fulqrum Publishing have been working on that blends two different worlds out there to give us a new and harrowing story to enjoy. Hela A PS5 version of Hela is on the way to allow so many more gamers access to the new folktale that Hela is going to offer up Just when you thought only a small subsection of the gaming community would get their time with Hela, it is shown that the PS5 is going to join the ranks of platforms the game is coming to. Now we can look at this and the PC to see just what Windup and Knights Peak are cobbling together with this weird little action-adventure title. Marvel Rivals The final character for Marvel Rivals is finally out there with Marvel Rivals adding another sharpshooter out there It looks as if all of the rumors are now confirmed that Marvel Rivals will also be getting a bit of Hawkeye in the game when it launches on December 6th. This was not the best kept secret as eagle-eyed fans were able to spot the character in one of the past videos that NetEase Games dropped out there for us and the teas that the character would have some kind of connection to The Hulk. Now, though, we have the full confirmation and a look at the character in motion adding another of the sharpshooters into the mix for Marvel Rivals. 10 Dead Doves We have a release date for 10 Dead Doves so we can experience some horror out there in December with 10 Dead Doves With the winter holidays about to kick off soon, it is good to make sure we have a splash of horror in the mix to keep up on our toes and 10 Dead Doves is looking to do that on the PC. That is, we now have a release date set for the game and Duonix Studios is wrapping up their single-player narrative horror on December 13th for us. The wait is finally over and we can all gear up to head out into the zone of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chornobyl. The game has finally launched out there on the Xbox Series X|S and PC with GSC Game World still working hard to make sure it is the best experience we can expect out there. Soul Reaver The abilities of the Soul Reaver are on display and ready for the bosses coming at us in Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered It has sure been a long time since many out there have had a chance to experience what Soul Reaver offered the world when they both dropped out there. They pushed boundaries for the time and Aspyr wants to bring that fun back to us with the newer visuals and the like for the game. We would not be getting a remaster of it all if that were not the case. By Grit Alone A release date for By Grit Alone is finally set down so we can try to survive more By Grit Alone out there in space It may have taken a bit longer than some expected out there, but By Grit Alone is almost out there for the Meta Quest 2 and 3, or at least it will be when the release date we have been given rolls on up out there. Crooks Peak has been trudging away at the game and getting it ready to give us that dark VR experience, and now after all of this waiting, we get to see what it has on November 21st. So, just a little more waiting for By Grit Alone, but at least it is not waiting until next year or even further down the line as some might have been concerned about the last time we had this update for the game. Mortal Kombat The next DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns, Ghostface, finally has a gameplay update to show what is coming to Mortal Kombat 1 Most of the teasing is over for Ghostface coming to Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns with the character dropping in on November 19th. That is the hope for now as NetherRealm Studios did drop the smallest of videos to be able to hit something for Halloween, and now that we are only days away from the character joining the roster on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC, it is time to get some true gameplay. True gameplay that shows off how the character will flow in Mortal Kombat 1, a bit of the x-ray move, a fatality, and a showing of the Animality Ghostface will have.
