PlayStation PlayStation will have a new mystery item out at SDCC with some boxes that will house all the random PlayStation gear one could want PlayStation was missing at E3 and it looks like they may be sitting part of SDCC out too. At least when it comes to games and other things for that part of the company. Instead, we have word now that they will be out there but with some exclusive gear for con-goers to pick up while on the show floor. Nintendo The Nintendo gaming lounge is coming back to SDCC this year and bringing all kinds of great Nintendo things for fans at the convention Almost a little late to the game, pun intended, it looks like Nintendo will be back at SDCC again with their gaming lounge and many other activities going on. Doctor Who New videos for Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time are out there to show off how the game is made and how Doctor Who can get to experience it at SDCC Not too long ago we were all made aware that Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time was going to be a thing and bring the franchise to the VR setting. It looked rather cool and I know I was hoping to be able to see and/or play what Maze Theory had put together at E3 this year. Sadly, that did not pan out and I was left wondering just what would be going on with this title. Mutant Year Zero A new bit of DLC is coming to Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden soon as Switch gamers will have a chance to take Mutant Year Zero on the go as well There has been a lot to come out of GDC this year and another cool announcement that came out is that Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden will be heading to the Nintendo Switch. All announced in one of the best ways by The Bearded Ladies as they point out just how they can export the game to the new platform from the Unreal engine and are doing just that. Oddworld A new cinematic rendering breakdown for Oddworld: Soulstorm is here to show off how things will be made in this Oddworld title Here we go with another title getting shown off a bit more during GDC's Keynotes this year with Oddworld: Soulstorm getting a bit of the limelight. This time we are not seeing much in the way of gameplay for the game, but we are getting a good look at one of the cinematic sequences that Oddworld Inhabitants has put together. If this will show up in the final version of Soulstorm is still up in the air, but it does show off the way things will be presented when it comes to the scenes. System Shock Work is still underway for System Shock 3 and we have a nice new tease to take in for System Shock 3 right from the Game Developers Conference It has been a rocky start and continuation for System Shock 3, but that has not stopped Otherside Entertainment from working on a game they obviously love and want to get out to the public. That how all developers should be and even in the wave of ditching the publisher for the game, they are still making strides into getting it out there and pleasing all of the fans out there. Control During GDC 2019, new gameplay for Control was shown to give us a look at the game as well as how Real-Time Ray Tracing will affect Control Just as we all assumed at this point, GDC 2019 has already started off by giving us a look at some of the technologies coming to our video games and we get to see more for Control here. For this title we are seeing just how Remedy will be using some of the new Real-Time Ray Tracing for the game to make shadows look a bit crisper and the lighting feels a little more authentic. Among many other things too, but that is the main focus for this new video for Control by doing the usual gameplay with the settings turned on and then off at times. Read More...

Stela A new title, Stela, is announced will be bringing its artistic platforming gameplay to the Xbox One and PC sometime this year While it will be on full display at GDC this year, we have the official announcement of Stela coming at us to bring another artistic style game into the fold of the PC and Xbox One. I am not talking in terms of some fancy paint style program but in terms of a new platformer from SkyBox Labs that will place us in a very artistic world while needing to navigate puzzles and the world. It sounds a lot more high-concept than it actually is here, but that is not a deterrent for Stela in the least bit. Read More...

Spider-Man Another bit of story is out there for the upcoming Spider-Man game and we have a look at the last of the pre-order Spider-Man suits from SDCC Just as many of us thought, Spider-Man for the PS4 was one of the big games out at SDCC that Marvel was out there showing off. It was not the only one, but that will be our focus on things right now as Insomniac Games’ version of the franchise will be landing here on September 7th and the other games looked at are out already or further out than that. All of that said, it looks like there will be even more characters than we thought in Spider-Man when it launches in all of the heroes, allies, villains, and anti-hero categories. Call Of Duty More story is here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4's Zombies mode as well as a look at the new collector's edition for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 that is coming The zombies are running free with more here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and we have more of the story to dig into all thanks to SDCC that just wrapped. We have had a bit of the story and look at how Treyarch is modifying the mode for this game, but here we go with a whole lot more to see for it all. It may not be anything in terms of new gameplay for this Call Of Duty, but seeing as it has not changed up much for a while as it is still a first-person shooter, that is not a huge surprise. The Walking Dead New gameplay for The Walking Dead: The Final Season has come out of SDCC to get us all worried for how Clem’s story will wrap in The Walking Dead The first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season kicks off on August 14th for those who aim to play it on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. For those looking to see how Telltale Games is wrapping up this story on the Switch you will have to wait a bit longer for that. Nintendo The Nintendo lounge is back at SDCC and many of your favorite Nintendo properties will be out there to play and relax with One of the staples of SDCC that I have always enjoyed has been the Nintendo lounge and it looks like it is going to be back again this year. Back again and setting up shop at the Marriott Marquis & Marina down in San Diego for fans to come out and try some of their new and old games they have out there. Blizzard Blizzard Entertainment will be out at SDCC 2018 with all kinds of events and Blizzard collectibles for you to add to your lists Continuing forth with all of the game developers and publishers showing up at SDCC this year, Blizzard is also back and bringing with it the fun of Overwatch and Hearthstone. It may not be as it was last year with The Lich King taking over for a bit, but it will be here to bring us more of their titles in the way of panels and collectibles some will be able to pick up if they are out there. All of that and Blizzard will also be setting up a cool little off-site for Overwatch fans so they can hop into the game in a way and show off to the world. Read More...
