High On Life
Shooter title, High On Life, is finally making the jump over to the PlayStation with High On Life out there now
It looks like we had a few things slip out during SDCC that were not specifically on the floor but were using the hype of things with the announcement that High On Life will no longer be an Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC exclusive. After seven months of having that be the case, Squanch Games is ready to give the PS4 and PS5 games a shot at the game. In fact, so ready that High On Life is available for you to buy and download as you are reading these words here. Yes, it is out on the new systems and ready to get out there with the humor and talking guns that caught the eyes of so many before now.
Outside of using the massive pop culture convention as the timing for this announcement and release for High On Life, it also comes at the perfect time for the upcoming DLC that is in the works and poised to launch this Fall. This would be the High On Knife DLC that has been announced with a little bit of footage and teasing out there already. This launch for High On Life would give most gamers all the time needed to stay inside, keep cool, and give the full game a solid play if they have only been able to experience it all via videos and Let's Plays out there before now. I know I was one of those gamers, but am ready to give it all a good play for myself now.
High On Life — PlayStation Launch Trailer
Squanch Games’ comedic sci-fi shooter High On Life is available NOW on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Save Earth from intergalactic invaders using a high-tech bounty-hunter suit and an arsenal of talking guns!
It is interesting and a little sad to see some of the voices for High On Life left out of the list here, but I get it to an extent. I am curious if that will also be in the gameplay of things with a new voice actor covering what Justin Roiland already did. Given that his voice and writing are usually something that most had glommed onto for High On Life before all of the dropped charges out there. It looks like there will be more consequences for things based on public opinion instead of what was proven in a court. That is how humans work out there and I just hope it will not hurt the game or DLC going forward with it all.
Did you ever expect to see High On Life on the PlayStation or did you expect it to always be on the other platforms alone? When do you think the DLC will finally come to us and will it be at the best time the world needs it all? Will Justin Roiland be erased from the game completely or will his voice still be in the game and not highlighted in any of the promotional materials out there? Take to the comment section and then feel free to discuss all of that. We should have more for High On Life in the coming weeks, so please keep checking back in for all of those updates and many more out there.
