So when The Last Of Us was first announced I had my reservations on the game. After hearing a bit more on the story of the game, characters and world they are still there. Albeit this all stems from the little tid-bits that were recently explained to Game Informer. You can see the dev interview below to get caught up to where I am in knowledge of the game. So plain and simple sounds more like a ridiculous "escort mission" style of story. So What Did You Think About Rage?

Now that Id Software's new IP is out, what do you guys think about it?I was thoroughly impressed with the demo Id showed off earlier this year at PAX East and eagerly waited for its release in August, but sadly it was pushed back to October. I was perfectly ok with that since I knew the finished product was going to blow my mind into oblivion, but I guess it is safe to say that I'm slightly disappointed. Dead Island Really Showing How Paradise Can Go Wrong

So the original trailer for the game made a huge splash and so did the exclusive behind closed doors showcasing, but for the most part it has been CGI or mostly words showing/describing how Dead Island will handle. While this is still a little bit of the case, we can glean a little more from the below screen shots and new trailer for the game. Finally Some Prototype 2 Screens

Maybe it is just me, or because we are still a year out from launch, but the visuals for Prototype 2 don't seem to be going the way most sequels go. Usually there is some insane boost or extreme change in how things look. From the below screen I'd swear that they were take straight out of the first game. Not that it is a bad thing, but a little unexpected. Monday brought a lot of long awaited, if not expected, news for the Activision Blizzard team. One important bit of news was a new Call of Duty title that would be released before the end of this year. With Call Of Duty: Black Ops the number one selling game in the US and Europe for the past three months, it's no surprise that Activision is going all in with this one. It's a safe bet that another CoD will sell just as well if not better than its predecessors. Call Of Duty To Become The Next Guitar Hero?

A leaked memo from Activision's CEO Eric Hirshberg is sure to have Call of Duty fans shaking in their boots and at the same time jumping for joy. The memo, from back in February, shows that Eric and the rest of the company are weary that Call of Duty might end up just like Guitar Hero. Let's see why this is a good thing for Call of Duty fans. Eric believes that the key to continuing Call of Duty's success is its Quality, saying "We need to focus: on making games that constantly raise the quality bar; on staying ahead of the innovation curve; on surrounding the brand with a suite of services and an online community that makes our fans never want to leave. The Softer Side Of [Prototype 2]...Kind Of

I don't know what it is about trailers like the one below for [Prototype 2], but I find them fun even though they don't really show off much. I think it is the violent content set to easy listening music that I find just awesomely funny. That's a word isn't it? Awesomely. It is for my purposes now if you don't think it is. Continuing on, here is yet another tease for the game that is still slated for a 2012 release. Could We Be Seeing Modern Warfare 3 At GDC?

So we are either going to get a look at the next billion dollar game from Activision or one of the best pranks run on fans of the Modern Warfare franchise. A new site, findmakarov.com, has begun to be passed around the net. It doesn't feature anything stating Modern Warfare 3 on it but it does have a countdown with the franchise know font face. Not to mention the site name does link back to the "villain" of Modern Warfare 2. In all actuality, this is most likely a nice little tease for what Activision is going to show off at GDC.
