Batman: Arkham Collection Is Getting Physical… Again
by Julia Schoebel [ Monday, 8th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Batman The Batman: Arkham Collection is re-releasing in a physical form to bring the Batman series to even more gamers across the world Just in time to celebrate 80 years of Batman out there, we are getting Batman: Arkham Collection released yet again. This time in a physical form with a steelbook and with all of the upgrades and fixes that Rocksteady Games put out there when it launched digitally on the PS4 and Xbox One not that long ago. That is right, this is not the first time we all have heard of the Batman: Arkham Collection and now we will have a new option on how to buy it. At least if you are living in the EU region in September or know someone well enough to pick one up and ship it to you. Read More...

Meet And Learn More About Conrad In Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan A new interview for Man Of Medan shows off the character that Shawn Ashmore is playing in Man Of Medan and a bit on what to expect Time for some 'shocking' news for Man Of Medan, as it looks like we are getting some other celebrity chops added into the mix here with Shawn Ashmore and his character Conrad. Not the biggest of shocks here as Supermassive Games has done things like this in the past with their other titles. They are going for some realism in their games so why not bring over an actor that can add their likeness to Man Of Medan as well as their voice. Read More...

E3 Hands-On — Darksiders Genesis
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders While at E3, I was able to see Darksiders Genesis in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Darksiders Genesis. Many of us before and during E3 were hoping to see a new Darksiders game come out and it was teased heavily before the event. It was also revealed by THQ Nordic that we were actually going to be getting another entry in the series from Airship Syndicate that would take us all down a different path for the gameplay. At least we have the final horseman to join us for this ride. Something I am looking forward to after having a bit of time with Darksiders Genesis and knowing there is still time to update and alter things that may not have flowed just right. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/3/19 — 6/7/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of June 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week If you were hoping things to be quite this week in video games just before E3, we would all be wrong. It is seeming more and more as if we are getting announcements before the event instead of surprises day of. I will take it as we did get to see Baldur's Gate 3 and Darksiders Genesis announced during this week and get us ready for next week. Not only that, but we did get to see Watch Dogs Legion announced after the usual leaks that happen for that company before the event. Read More...

Darksiders Genesis Is Bringing Us Strife & A New Way To Play
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders The next Darksiders title has been announced and will be altering the style and bringing us Strife with Darksiders Genesis It looks like we were all right in guessing what THQ Nordic was going to announce as we have Darksiders Genesis here just before the big showing at E3. This would be their next title in the franchise and it is a prequel to it all. Not only that, but we get to finally see Strife in action in the franchise. The mix in Darksiders Genesis is now a top-down action-RPG instead of the usual gameplay we are used to. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan The release date for The Dark Pictures — Man Of Medan is set down for August and we have a set of pre-order bonuses to consider for Man Of Medan It is finally here and we have a release date for Supermassive Games' next title Man Of Medan. I had a feeling we were going to have to wait until at least October for this first part of the anthology to drop, but it looks like it will be joining other titles from Bandai Namco and dropping in August. Yes, we can now look to see Man Of Medan on August 30th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. PC being in a digital form while it looks like the other platforms will be getting an actual physical release. You May Feel A Bit Less At Ease With The Dark Pictures — Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan The next dev diary for The Dark Pictures — Man Of Medan is here to give us a look at the lighting and other key elements of Man Of Medan to put us less at ease We get to dive a bit deeper into Man Of Medan with the latest developer diary that is now out there. At least for those who interested in seeing how this horror title is being put together and just what Supermassive Games will be using to freak us out. There are so many aspects to it all that can be used to build tension and fear and this time we get to see the lighting and camera work side of it all. It is interesting to know that many out there still do not get this and it is most likely why Man Of Medan will scare them more and more. Read More...

New Gameplay And Name Is Here For The Upcoming Darkborn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Darkborn Project Wight is now known as Darkborn and we have a whole lot of new gameplay to show off how Darkborn has evolved since we last saw it It looks like the old Project Wight is no more as it will now be known as Darkborn from henceforward. Not that The Outsiders has scrapped the former title, but that was just the working title before we have the current name of this interesting title set down to be able to know what game we are talking about. Not the biggest of news here unless you are overly excited for just something named Darkborn. I guess this is why we also have some new gameplay for the game to dive into and see how it has progressed. Read More...

Head Down To Your Watery Grave This Summer With Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan The release window for Man Of Medan is set down for this Summer and we have a new look at the dangerous waters of Man Of Medan It looks like more horror is on its way this Summer as it looks like Man Of Medan has been given that new window for release. That could mean so much as it is a fairly open window, but it is what Supermassive Games has placed down there now. All of which comes from the latest developer diary for Man Of Medan where they also go into the waters and boats used in the game and how they captured it all. Spoiler alert, they used real boats and water wake to do it all then stripped it apart to mix in properly. Read More...

Darksiders Warmastered Edition Is Looking To Switch Things Up
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 31st of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Darksiders The Darksiders Warmastered Edition is poised to head to the Switch now bringing the Darksiders fun to even more of the world it has destroyed There were sightings of this yesterday but now it is official that the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is now heading to the Nintendo Switch. Now that system will be able to enjoy an amazing franchise's start instead of watching the rest of the gaming world out there move past its third title. Not that this is a bad move on the part of THQ Nordic in the least bit, it just feels like it is a bit removed from the releases on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC by so much. This could be me though. The Dark Souls Trilogy Has A New Collector Edition To Shell Out For
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 18th of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Dark Souls Another collector’s edition has hit the market for the Dark Souls Trilogy to hurt your bank as much as Dark Souls hurts you in the game It has not been that long since the Dark Souls Trilogy launched on the PS4 and Xbox One. If you are a huge fan of the franchise and what FromSoftware is doing, then you most likely picked it all up again to play through all of the titles. Now, almost three months after that launch to the Dark Souls line it looks like Bandai Namco will be offering fans a new collector's edition for the game. This seems like an odd move to do, but if you have a spare £449. Read More...

The Ghost Ship Decays Even More For Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan The second part of the Man Of Medan developer diary is here to go further into the decay we will experience in the ghost ship of Man Of Medan We are back with more for Man Of Medan as the second part of the developer diary on the Ghost Ship has been dropped out there. Last time we had a chance to see how Supermassive Games took inspiration and audio to craft a horrifying location, now we get to see just how some of it was put to use in the game and other aspects we may not have seen just yet. Specifically as it all comes to the decay and reclamation of the ship that is happening in Man Of Medan. The reclamation being that of nature and the sea and what happens to large hunks of metal when left out there for too long. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 1st of December 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is one more week in the bag for all things video games. There was a lot to unpack this week and then to get ready for in the next one. It is almost like everything else is dropping on Tuesday here. Such video games as Just Cause 4, Mutant Year Zero, and Arca’s Path to name a couple. Not to mention all of the DLC and everything that is flowing out there at the same time. Read More...

Walk Around The Ghost Ship Of The Dark Pictures’ Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of November 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan A new developer diary for Man Of Medan is here to take us on a bit of a tour of the ghost ship we will be exploring in Man Of Medan There is no doubt that Man Of Medan has already looked like a dark and horrific experience we will all be having. All in the best of ways, but it is shaping up to be one of the dark horror film-like video games I have seen to date on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Given the work we have seen from Supermassive Games in the past, it is not a huge surprise there. That is why it is always nice to see behind the curtain of how they make their games and have a new behind-the-scenes video for Man Of Medan to build us up and get excited for this new anthology called The Dark Pictures. Werewolf: The Apocalypse Has A New Publisher & Game Details
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of November 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Werewolf New details have popped up for Werewolf: The Apocalypse as Bigben Interactive picks up the rights and gives a new name with Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood There really has not been a lot of talk or updates for Werewolf: The Apocalypse as of late so it is high time that we finally had one. Even if it is not something that is too massive, it does look like we will be seeing this game from Cyanide Studio in 2020 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That or whatever versions of the consoles we have at that point. Read More...
