House Of Ashes
The official announcement for The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes is here with an official synopsis of what House Of Ashes will be putting us through
Some of you might not see this as anything new, as the beans were spilled for The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes the day after Little Hope was released. It is kind of the way it goes when Supermassive Games drops a trailer for the next chapter of the IP after the credits of the one that launches. That said, all we had before for House Of Ashes was the trailer and then a whole lot of speculation as to what it would entail. That is where we come back with a little more now that they are officially announcing that the chapter is coming next year and also so we can clear up a few things we assume from the teaser just by itself.
The basics we had for House Of Ashes is still about sound, as the story will take place in Iraq and we will be getting stranded underground. It is now known that this will take place in 2003 and we will be a CIA field operative named Rachel King among various others, presumably. We are ambushed along the way and an earthquake opens up the ground for us to be swallowed up and thrust deep under the Arabian Desert. This is where all of the dark horrors will begin in House Of Ashes and then we will have to see who makes it out. It also looks like we have a better look at the Rachel character but there is no solid word on if the assumptions were correct as to the likeness they will be using.
The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes — Announcement
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Supermassive Games are proud to announce that The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes, the third story in The Dark Pictures Anthology will be released next year.
Iraq, 2003. As the conflict draws to a close, CIA field operative Rachel King joins an elite military unit on a raid of a suspected underground chemical weapons facility in the shadow of the Zagros Mountains.
Arriving at the coordinates, the unit is ambushed by a local patrol led by Sergeant Salim Othman. During the battle, an earthquake opens sinkholes in the ground, pitching both sides into the ruins of a buried Sumerian temple. In the darkness beneath the Arabian Desert, something evil is awakened. Savage and unstoppable, a nest of ancient and unearthly creatures has a new prey to hunt.
Horrific discoveries and impossible decisions face the survivors as they strive to navigate the underworld and escape the terrifying threat. Will they each prioritize their own survival, or put aside their fears and their personal rivalries to fight together as one?
Does this clear things up a bit more for House Of Ashes or is it still about the same for you?
