Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest Is Set More Globally In The Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Werewolf The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is here to give insight on how this Werewolf story will be in the World of Darkness Most titles in Werewolf: The Apocalypse, or the World of Darkness in general, are usually set somewhere in the North American area of the world with history only touching the rest of the world out there. It is something that feels like it has always been this way with the rest of the world only watching as primarily the United States gets the big highlight. It is a WORLD Of Darkness, though, and it looks like this is part of the story that Different Tales is going for in Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest. Read More...

Learn A Bit More On Why We Are Getting Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Werewolf The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is out there for us to learn why we are getting another Werewolf game There is no doubt that we will have a whole lot of Werewolf: The Apocalypse to enjoy in terms of video games in the coming month just as the ones for the other aspects of the World Of Darkness. The one we are looking at here is going to be the one that Different Tales is working on to give us a different take on the franchise. Not the hacking and slashing one we have seen but Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest where we will play out a motion comic of sorts much as we have for the Vampire one out there. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of July 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Werewolf The upcoming Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest has shown off a little bit of the gameplay and how it will fit into Werewolf: The Apocalypse Just as many were thinking, we have a new look at Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest and it shows off the game that we were expecting to get here. Do not read that as a bad thing as Different Tales and Walkabout Games was aiming for something different than we have seen for the many other World Of Darkness titles. This one is the story-driven Werewolf: The Apocalypse title and not the action-brawler one that is coming too. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of October 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Werewolf A new trailer for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood was given to the world during PDXCon to give us a little taste of how this Werewolf will flow Everyone has been waiting for something substantial for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood for some time now given all of the closed doors showings it has had since it was first announced. Now we jump to the most recent PDXCon where Cyanide Studio and Bigben Interactive were out to show fans just what they have been waiting for. That was at least the thought that we all would also get a nice little bit for it to with the huge resurgence of the Werewolf franchise as of late. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Werewolf While at E3, I was able to see Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. It definitely looks like the World Of Darkness is having a great time with video games as of late as we have had so many shown off and updated on and also why I am here for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. This would be another of the IPs out there in the works, but one that we have known Cyanide Studio has been working on for a while now. So long that it has moved over to a different publisher, Bigben Interactive, but now is back with something more than basic concepts to show off. Read More...

Werewolf: The Apocalypse Has A New Publisher & Game Details
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of November 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Werewolf New details have popped up for Werewolf: The Apocalypse as Bigben Interactive picks up the rights and gives a new name with Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood There really has not been a lot of talk or updates for Werewolf: The Apocalypse as of late so it is high time that we finally had one. Even if it is not something that is too massive, it does look like we will be seeing this game from Cyanide Studio in 2020 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That or whatever versions of the consoles we have at that point. Read More...

E3 2017 Interview — Werewolf: The Apocalypse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Werewolf At E3 I was able to sit down and gather more information on Werewolf: The Apocalypse from Julien Desourteaux. Here's what I was able to get on Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Not all games that I was excited to learn more about at E3 were up and running on the show floor and Werewolf: The Apocalypse was one of them. Any gamer and fan of the franchise would have been excited to see what Cyanide Studio had for the game since it was only announced earlier this year and nothing else had been brought up about it. While Focus Home Interactive was featuring Werewolf: The Apocalypse at E3, there wasn't anything in terms of gameplay and the like out there, but that didn't mean we came up completely dry. Werewolf: The Apocalypse Is Getting The Video Game Treatment Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of January 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Werewolf It has just been announced that Werewolf: The Apocalypse will be getting its own video game version for us to pretend to be a Werewolf out to save the world It seems like it wasn't that long ago that we were talking about a World Of Darkness MMO coming and then being canceled but now it looks like the universe is being brought back in video game form as we now have Werewolf: The Apocalypse getting the same treatment here. Yes, it looks like Paradox Interactive, the people who own the rights to the IPs, have given way for Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive to give bringing this part of the universe to life and hopefully success. Werewolf: The Apocalypse wouldn't be my own personal choice to come from the WoD here but at least it looks like they are still willing to give it a try and give gamers a taste of the table top games in the realm of the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here's A Bit Of The Story Of The Last Of Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of February 2012 - 10:22 PM ]
So when The Last Of Us was first announced I had my reservations on the game. After hearing a bit more on the story of the game, characters and world they are still there. Albeit this all stems from the little tid-bits that were recently explained to Game Informer. You can see the dev interview below to get caught up to where I am in knowledge of the game. So plain and simple sounds more like a ridiculous "escort mission" style of story. While Joel does seem to have an interesting background, the overall theme here is keep Ellie alive and to some unknown location. Read More...

Hey Look Another Post Apocalypse Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Sunday, 18th of December 2011 - 07:24 PM ]
So it looks like Naughty Dog is working on another new IP to try and move away from being stuck in the "We make Uncharted and Jax" slump they've been in for the decade. I mean really who wants to be known for making those games right? I jest and am happy to hear that the studio is going to try something new for themselves and move away from churning out sequels. They've done great things as far as innovating the visual effects the PS3 can pump out. So let's take a look at this new IP called The Last Of Us. Read More...

Dead Island Really Showing How Paradise Can Go Wrong
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2011 - 05:57 PM ]
So the original trailer for the game made a huge splash and so did the exclusive behind closed doors showcasing, but for the most part it has been CGI or mostly words showing/describing how Dead Island will handle. While this is still a little bit of the case, we can glean a little more from the below screen shots and new trailer for the game. In fact some of the action shots show quite a bit that can be guessed at. The trailer on the other hand is not as informative, but it does hold a different view of the game world. Read More...
