Learn A Bit More On Why We Are Getting Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest

Werewolf

The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is out there for us to learn why we are getting another Werewolf game

There is no doubt that we will have a whole lot of Werewolf: The Apocalypse to enjoy in terms of video games in the coming month just as the ones for the other aspects of the World Of Darkness. The one we are looking at here is going to be the one that Different Tales is working on to give us a different take on the franchise. Not the hacking and slashing one we have seen but Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest where we will play out a motion comic of sorts much as we have for the Vampire one out there. It is an interesting take and something to take note of for the PC in later this year.

That all said, here we go with the big reason why we are getting this title in the Werewolf: The Apocalypse line just before we get the other one. One of my favorite answers here has to be the fact that "they were given the chance to do the IP." I am always a fan of the "because we could" answer for most things and how they go about it is one of the ways I am a fan of. They are fans that were given the chance to take their dreams and bring it into a reality. This generally makes for a better game instead of someone being told that they have to for profits. Even if slapping the Werewolf name there is going to get loads of gamers on board from the jump. It is nice to hear and see. Something you can do just a bit lower down.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest — Dev Diary #2

The Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest dev diary series continues. In this episode, lead designer Artur Ganszyniec talks about what motivated the project in the first place. Walkabout Games would also like to invite media representatives to playtest the work-in-progress version of the game.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is the upcoming savage horror game that adapts the mechanics of the legendary RPG system. In this story-focused experience, you play Maia, a young girl who comes to Poland looking for her roots and gets drafted into an ancient war.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is scheduled for a Q4 2020 release on PC. The game will be available on Windows, macOS, and Linux on Steam and GOG.com.

Are you excited for this Werewolf title or did you come in here thinking it was for the other one? Do you think this form of game will work well for the IP or will it need more than flashy text and images to go along with it? Do you think that this kind of answer is a great one for a franchise or is it something you view as "off?" Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you wish. When we have more to share for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest, we will do so on the site. All you need to do is keep checking in for all of that and more.
