by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of May 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Dreadmoor The open playtest for Dreadmoor is finally here, and we only have a short window to play the latest version of Dreadmoor After sitting and waiting as long as we have, we can all give Dreadmoor a bit of a play out there on the PC starting today. Not that the game has fully launched out there, it seems that Dream Dock still has more to do for this game, but the open playtest has begun, so we can have a sample of what the game will hold. As if we need more than a dark fishing adventure with all manner of Lovecraftian monsters trying to end our lives to give us a reason to drop anchor on this one. Or is it pull up the anchor? Control Resonant Walks Us A Bit Further Into A Paranaturally Warped Manhattan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Control Head further behind the scenes for Control Resonant to see how different the world will be from the one of Control There has been a whole lot of focus, as of late, on the location that we are going to be flying around in when Control Resonant lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In fairness, Remedy has been fairly forthcoming about the fact that we are hitting the streets and getting to take on all of the creatures and factions in Manhattan. Not the most ideal place for us to be able to save the world, but it falls in line with what Control has given us up to now. This is why it is fun to have another look behind the scenes for the game to see just how the team is warping it into the game world, as well as show us all the various things we are going to need to fend off along the way. Dawnwalker The story for The Blood Of Dawnwalker is out there, and we get to see a bit more of what made the Dawnwalker the way they are Step further into the world of The Blood Of Dawnwalker, as we have a little more to the story going on out there. At least a bit more than the usual vampires take over a town, and we need to stop it. That would not make for a truly engaging story from what Rebel Wolves has been crafting so far. Now that The Blood Of Dawnwalker is landing on September 3rd for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, it's high time we got all the rest of that juicy lore out there. Read More...

Fly Through How The Gameplay Has Evolved For The Coming Control Resonant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of April 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Control Go behind the scenes to see how the gameplay of Control has evolved a bit more to where Control Resonant is going to take us The next developer diary for Control Resonant is here, and it aims to show us how the game has evolved what worked in the previous game and for the IP in general. A nice little look at how things have shifted at Remedy for it all, while making sure that it just does not feel like we are going to be playing the same game, just with a different character. I mean, for starters, this one is taking us outside of the Oldest House and into the real world, going with a melee combat option over the firearms of Control, along with taking the bigger and mysterious threat from the first game and making it the main antagonist. Those are the basics, and now we get to see how that came to be and how the team is going to handle the challenges that are going to be imposed on the game. Read More...

Ritual Tides Has Some New Gameplay Filled With More Lovecraftian Horrors
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Ritual Tides A bit of gameplay is out there for Ritual Tides, and it shows off how horrifying some of the monsters in Ritual Tides will be I hope you are ready to have some of your skin crawl out there, as we have a new look at Ritual Tides that offers up a few things that will do that to you. I am sure it will build further into the narrative psychological horror title that Vertpaint is working on once we get into the bigger game, but for now, we get to see these Lovecraftian things crawling about. There's a good reason I keep using those words, as these all look to be spider and insect-like in Ritual Tides, just with the cosmic horror twist to some of them. All while still fitting in the world that we will get to explore when this title hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC out there. Read More...

Escape By Spoon Is Going To Dig Its Way Into Our Hearts
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 20th of March 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Escape By Spoon A new escape simulation game, Escape By Spoon, is on the way to us all to test to see if we can Escape By Spoon Apparently, it's a big thing to have a game about digging a hole, and now we have another on the way with the announcement for Escape By Spoon. A new escape simulation game that Paiband Game Studio is building for us all, where the goal is in the title of the game. That wouldn't be all that fun to have alone, so there's yet another fun little twist to it all, and that comes down to the animation style that the game is going to embrace. As you'll soon see for Escape By Spoon, it is going to lean into the rubber-hose animation that drives so many gamers wild out there in recent years. Read More...
