3D Realms, the developers of Duke Nukem Forever has shut down. Due to a cut off of funding from Take Two studios, 3D realms employees have already been let go. Take Two is keeping the publishing rights to Duke Nukem Forever, and Apogee Software have just confirmed that the situation at 3D Realms has not affected the development for the new handheld titles for PSP and Nintendo DS. The handheld will be developed by Frontline Games'. Duke Nukem Forever has been trying to release for almost 12 years, and even a short teaser was released in late 2007 (Seen Below). Read More...

Expansions are on the Fallout

So the Fallout franchise has been out in the media and news quite a bit lately after the London conference. After surfing around the interwebs, look at this interesting bit of info i came a cross. A listing on eStarland is reportedly selling a 2 pack of expansion codes for the "Broken Steel" expansion pack and another expansion called "Point Look". The item although says "Point Look - Information Not Available Yet for This Expansion." The cost for both is $20 and will begin shipping on June 9th. Read More...

Max Payne 3 Coming This Year

The long awaited Max Payne 3 has been confirmed and is already in development for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The story takes place sometime after the second one where Max Payne is now a retired police detective left in a world of corruption and violence.Founder of Rockstar Games, Sam Houser states that this will be a new chapter in Max's life and that this is Max as we've never seen him before. Bethesda Software Gets All WET

Bethesda Software announced this morning via a press release on their website, that they will be publishing WET for the 360 and PS3. This 3rd person action title from Artificial Mind and Movement (A2M) has finally found its home after a long struggle since its release from Activision. It is being developed for both the XBox 360 and the Playstation 3 and slated for a release this Fall of 2009."We're very excited about the opportunity to bring WET to all gamers," said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. A completely accidental update that wasn't suppose to be seen until, well, today. Some might think it isn't a big deal to have a slip like that, but in this instance it is. Well if you are a fan of Batman and The Joker. Officially announced today, after placing and removing the ad accidentally yesterday, Eidos is now proud to tell the PS3 owners of the world that if they pick up a copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum for the console they will get to play as the Joker himself in the game. Left4Dead DLC Release Day

Today Valve released downloadable content on both the PC and the Xbox 360. Called the Survival Pack, the DLC provides new campaign maps for the Versus Mode and an entirely new gameplay option, Survival Mode. Also included are various patches and fixes to improve the overall gameplay by covering up the glitches and bugs found in the game post-release. In Versus Mode, teams of players take turns being the survivors trying to escape and the special infected bent on stopping them. Tekken 6 XBox 360 Title Preview: Spring 2009 Trailer Where did all the fighting go in this fighting game? That was something I though after watching the latest trailer for the console version of Tekken 6. I mean watch the trailer and see. There looks to be more going on than just fighting in this fighting game. People with guns, fat guys moving faster than they really should be able too, you get the picture. What this does look like though is that there is the chance there will be more story going on in the game outside of the characters are just getting down and dirty for their own greedy needs. Fantasy Demo Finally

Final Fantasy XIII Demo While the official release date for the Demo for FFXIII isn't slated until, well today in Japan (3amish on the 16th as of this post), it didn't stop some people from getting their copies a bit early. Attention please! It's time to learn the Secrets of Ulduar in the snowy regions of Storm Peaks! A few new things been released for this patch and the most notable Dual Spec. How this lovely ability works is when you are at level 40 you will be able to purchase Dual Spec for 1000g and it will allow you to switch between 2 different specs, glyphs and action bars. Saw Game Producer Interviewed So now that Konami has been attached to the game as well as some of the screen shots and video popping up, looks like the steam roller for this game has been started. Which is good since it is slated for this October, most likely around when the 6th film is coming out. But little has been brought up on what you are suppose to do in the game. inFamous Not Releasing This June, After All We're all use to it by now. A new game is coming out. A date is chosen for launch. When there is little over a month or two before the launch, the date get's changed and we all should have thought so in the first place. At least that is generally the case.
