by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of September 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Battlefield The open beta dates for Battlefield 2042 have been set with Battlefield fans getting entry into it early in the coming week Battlefield 2042 may have been pushed out a bit with it still hitting us on November 19th, but those that have been holding out hope can get a small taste of it all here sooner than that. It is not a huge surprise that DICE will be holding an open beta for the game to help iron things out. It is just a surprise now that we have an official date that all of that will be going down and it is next week. Read More...

The Switch Will Let Us Try To Stay Human Now In Dying Light 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of September 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Dying Light The Switch will be getting a version of Dying Light 2 now with the original Dying Light also hitting up the console in short order I think this will color most of us unsurprised, but it looks like Dying Light 2 will be getting a cloud version of the game to enjoy on the Switch when the game hits on February 4th. I mean, you might be surprised given how games usually go for the console, but it does look like Techland wants to make sure everyone has the chance to Stay Human and are making the game playable there now. It could also open up some chances for those that missed out on the Dying Light 2 collector's edition to have another go at picking it up. Read More...

ELEX II Will Task Us To Free The People Of Magalan Once More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of September 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
ELEX ELEX II had a new story trailer release to shows us what to expect after the events of the previous ELEX It was announced back at E3 this year and now we have more to the story for ELEX II to take in. Not in a way that will fully spoil what Piranha Bytes in the works, but to give us the broadest of strokes when it comes to what is going on in the game. It would be a horrible call to tell us most of the story in one shot here after all. Even if it does look like ELEX II is going to have us all following along with the normal saving the world and people storyline that these kinds of titles all have. Read More...

Kill Some Time With New Stories Here For Dying Light 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of September 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Dying Light Two more audio stories for Dying Light 2 have dropped to further expand how the survivors have made it from Dying Light It is time to cozy up once again for Dying Light 2 and some of the other stories we can have and expect to build the world a bit more before launch. We have two new audio stories from Techland to take in and see how the world has evolved once more and the level of story we can expect as we parkour through the game's world. It may not be to the same level we have here, with these being labeled as Urban Legends, but they do show how dark and light some of the tales can go. Just as Dying Light plays with the whole light and dark when it comes to the environment and time of day. Read More...

Games like Deathloop and Song Of Horror as we wait a bit longer for a few of those that were pushed out. I am looking at you Dying Light 2. I hope that will be near the end of all of those delays for our various video games, but we know that will not be the case. Read More...

The Wait Will Continue For Us All When It Comes To Battlefield 2042
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of September 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Battlefield A delay has happened for Battlefield 2042 with the wait for this new Battlefield title taking a few more weeks for us to go through It is no huge surprise when it comes to news like this given the state of the world still, but it looks like Battlefield 2042 is another title to hit the delay train for us all. Originally, it was slated to hit on October 22nd but it looks like due to the members of DICE having to shift to working from home, things have taken a bit of a slower approach to development. My guess is that it was more of the spin-up time and not the fact that they are working remote, but this is the excuse that we have for why we are waiting longer for Battlefield 2042. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of September 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Hello Neighbor New gameplay for Hello Neighbor 2 is here to show us how the AI has grown vastly smarter since the previous Hello Neighbor With each new bit of gameplay for Hello Neighbor 2, it looks like the game advances by leaps and bounds. It is how good development should always go and seeing as tinyBuild is tasking Eerie Guest Studios to hit some new heights, it should come as no surprise that they are doing so. All so we can get the most realistic game of breaking and entering that has been out there. Also to make sure that our neighbor is actually up to some no good in the mix again after Hello Neighbor. Join The Party To Shoot & Lute In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of September 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Wonderlands Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands blasts us with some of the first gameplay to give us a showing on how Wonderlands will blend metal and fantasy It did not take all that long, and now we are back with some actual gameplay to look at for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Just in the way that Gearbox normally does it all too, with all of the absurdity and craziness that their fans need but also in a way that does not reveal all too much. Given that the bigger selling point for Wonderlands is going to be the main story we are playing through, that is going to be a rough one to do without them allowing for multiple early "let's plays." We can hope for that as of now and just take in the new bits we have to enjoy. Read More...

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Is Swinging Towards Us With New Villains In The Mix
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of September 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man The next Spider-Man title is coming with the announcement of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with a few new twists coming at us in the mix It should be almost no surprise that we are going to be getting a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launched out there. The first and side title did so well that it would have been odd for Insomniac Games wanted to skip on it after all of the teases at the end of them. We have the official announcement for it all for the PS5 and coming to us in 2023. Yes, it will be a bit of a wait, but we will see Spider-Man swinging out there again and with a new list of villains trying to bring Peter and Miles down. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of September 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week has wrapped and we survived another short one with so many video games announced, shown off, and updated again. More so than we would have expected with titles like God Of War: Ragnarök and Call Of Duty: Vanguard getting some of the top billing. That is not to mention other video games that had some updates like Dying Light 2 and Marvel’s Midnight Suns to get us all amped up for more. More than has to be coming with so many things highlighted near the end of the week that we have not been able to talk about yet. Read More...

The Pilgrim Is Looking For More Stories Within Dying Light 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of September 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Dying Light 2 The first Audio Story for Dying Light 2 is here to take us all further into the world of Dying Light 2 with more to come Recently, we had a whole lot of gameplay and showings for the mechanics for Dying Light 2. Sure, there were tidbits of story and other world-building elements in there, but Techland has been a bit coyer when it comes to all of that since the last big story trailer. My guess is that is to keep the core of Dying Light 2 a bit hidden until the game launches on December 7th. It could also be that they want to build out the world around it all that gets lost in the subtlety of the storytelling. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of September 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was one hells of a week for all of those video games out there, was it now? Even on the tail end of gamescom and everything, we still had so much more to go on and offer up. I know I was glad to see all that we did for Dying Light 2 and the bonus of Marvel’s Midnight Suns getting a little gameplay in the mix. That and all of the new stuff we have for Back 4 Blood and gameplay for Call Of Duty coming this year. Read More...
