The Demons Are Coming As The Exorcist: Legion VR Lands Here Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
The Exorcist A new VR experience in The Exorcist universe is almost here as we know when The Exorcist: Legion VR will be hitting the Oculus, HTC Vive, and PSVR It looks like we can add another huge horror franchise to the list of VR titles out there as The Exorcist: Legion VR is coming to us all on November 22nd to carry on all of the prophecies that were laid out in the lore. Well at least it is coming to the PC on the HTC Vive and Oculus as Fun Train and Wolf & Wood have not given a release date for the PS VR, but none the less we are getting a nice and creepy extension to The Exorcist III. Nonetheless, the game is coming to us and it looks like it will add to the "the scariest franchise" in horror movie history. Read More...

So Much For Security In Agents Of Mayhem As Their Safeword Is Called
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Agents Of Mayhem The Safeword DLC for Agents Of Mayhem and this adds a few little things but also Kinzie Kensington to the roster for Agents Of Mayhem If you are still jamming out to Agents Of Mayhem and still having a blast with it, then you should know that a new bit of DLC just quietly dropped out there that you may want to take notice of. Why Deep Silver and Volition did not make a big deal about it is beyond me, but another character from the Saints Row world is now available for the game. Who? Read More...

Review — Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn We sit down and review Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds. Can you make The Cut? Here's our review of Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds I was really equal parts excited and worried about Horizon Zero Dawn’s new DLC. Would it be an overpriced cash grab for Guerrilla Games to scrape a few more pennies from fans, or a story that needed to be told that didn't fit with the flow and progression of the main game? I try not to delve into the main plots of games too much, but if you’re buying the DLC I am going to assume you have played Horizon Zero Dawn. So if you just want to know if I recommend it or not I’ll save you sometimes and say yes. Read More...

Do Not Expect Vampyr To Bleed Your Wallet With DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Vampyr In a recent interview for Vampyr, it was revealed that the team does not want to do any DLC for Vampyr but plan for a sequel based on sales In a recent interview for DontNod's upcoming Vampyr, a few interesting things for the game were revealed but sadly still no solid release date for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. It is still set for "early 2018" and I am going to venture a guess around E3 or so. Nonetheless, there were some interesting facts about Vampyr that did come to light outside of when Focus Home Interactive will deem it a full success or not. Read More...

Montana Has Been Beautifully Recreated Just For Far Cry 5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 A new behind the scenes video for Far Cry 5 is here to show us how much of Montana has been recreated just for Far Cry 5 By now there should be little doubt that Far Cry 5 is going to look amazing on February 27th when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Unless Ubisoft has been going out of their way to only make the small demos look impressive and the gameplay videos are overclocked, it is going to be an amazing looking game. Not just because this is one of those franchises they work to make look visually stunning, but because Far Cry 5 is finally mirroring a real-world location and that just happens to be something that the team over there can do very well. I'll point you all at the Watch Dogs franchise if you were questioning any of that as both of those are insanely well done to give a true feeling for the towns and locations they are set. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of November 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Planet Of The Apes The launch for Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier is almost upon us and that means we have a new trailer for this Planet Of The Apes outing November 21st marks the day that Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier will be landing on the PS4 and there is still so much that we all do not know about this little narrative game here. We do know that it will be telling some of the story between Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and War For The Planet Of The Apes; also that it will have four players involved in driving the story forward by making the choices that the Humans and the Apes need to make. Also that Imaginati Studios is all behind it here and trying something new for the whole genre and storytelling methods we have been used to for some time. Read More...

Tekken 7 Is Crossing Games Again As Noctis Joins In The Fight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Tekken The third DLC character for Tekken 7 is here and it looks like Tekken 7 is going to be getting a bit of Final Fantasy XV in it Someone was sitting around and wondering what else needs to be part of Tekken 7 and what the game needed more of it seems. At least that is how I like to think about the process that Bandai Namco starts off with when they try to figure out what their game needs to have added to it to improve it all. That is also how I think Tekken 7's latest DLC character has come to light as I see someone thinking, "You what this game needs more of? Final Fantasy XV. Read More...

L.A. Noire Will Have Us Be A Good Cop, Bad Cop, Or Just Accuse Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of November 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
L.A. Noire It looks like L.A. Noire will be adding in more than just some fun new functionality as some UI tweaks will make L.A. Noire's dialog better fit the narrative The remastered version of L.A. Noire is finally landing on the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch next week, November 14th and we all know there are going to be some great changes for it all. Rockstar Games has already shown us how the visuals of the game will be greatly enhanced, but there has also been wind out there that it will be getting a lot of fun other features for the new hardware it is coming to. Namely the PS4 and Switch given that the controller schemes do offer up some other options, but it looks like there could be a lot more for L. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Hunt The closed alpha test for Hunt: Showdown has been slated for this Winter and PC gamers will get a chance to help Hunt: Showdown become what we want By now we have seen a whole lot of gameplay for Hunt: Showdown and even with it coming to Early Access on Steam for PC gamers sometime soon, there are a whole lot of us who are just ready to dive in and give the game a good play and see just how it stacks up. At least I know I am ready to do that given all of the teasings that Crytek has given us for the game and now it looks like that is going to happen here soon-ish. I say that as it looks like Hunt: Showdown is getting its very own Closed Alpha test before it goes to Steam and you too can be part of it to help the team build a better game and give us just what we are expecting from it all. Let Us Get To Know Star Wars Battlefront II's Protagonist A Bit More
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of November 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Star Wars We have a new look at Star Wars Battlefront II's hero of sorts and just how she fits into the game and the Star Wars franchise in general If you are still not too clear on Star Wars Battlefront II's protagonist, Iden Versio, then get ready for yet another information dump on her and other aspects of the game. Even though we have just over a week, November 17th, until the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC officially, DICE wanted to give us a bit more on our hero's background and a few other things we may not have expected out of the game. Given that this is most likely as close to a single-player campaign and story that EA is going to give us for a bit, we might as well take it. Read More...

A Lot Of New Action Is Coming With Outcast: Second Contact
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 8th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Outcast Another new developer diary for Outcast: Second Contact is here and we also get to see a lot more on the side of combat & action for Outcast: Second Contact Next week, November 14th, we will see Outcast: Second Contact land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC yet we still have so much more to see and understand for the game. At least if you had little to no knowledge of the game before Appeal and Bigben went to give us this new version and continuation of the franchise. It is hard to wrap it all up in one short way, but as it looks, that will not be needed here as we can further see how the action and combat of Outcast: Second Contact have been altered from where the franchise originally had it.
